Scott's POV
When we finished our live stream with meat and potatoes, and gone to sleep, we decided to go out to Starbucks. Chloe hasn't seen coffee in a while, so I thought it would be fun.
"Guys," I yelled through the hallway. "Were going to Starbucks and everybody is coming."
Mitch raced out of his room, already dressed up. It was 7am and he was already pretty much awake. I laughed at his instant appearance and he did a sassy face.
"Ready," he said, fixing that one piece of hair.
The rest of the group came out of their rooms seeming very tired. Chloe came out last and she was smiling and kinda almost jumping.
"What's up, Jitterbug?" Mitch said, hugging Chloe.
"Look at the calendar," she said. I turned on my phone and saw a notification. It read:
🎁🎉🎈Chloe's Birthday🎈🎉🎁
"Happy Birthday, Sweetie!" I said, hugging her.
"Thanks," she said. she kissed all of us guys on the cheek and hugged Kirstie, who was still half asleep.
"Are we going or what?" Mitch said in a sassy tone.
Chloe picked up her purse from the couch and walked towards the door.
"Anyone else coming?" She said, mocking Mitch's sassiness. "or is it just me?"
We left the house and walked to Starbucks. We decided to stop by places because Chloe hasn't had vision for about a month or two.
When we entered Starbuck, we met a few fans. We decided to sit down at the booth in the corner and sign things for people.
When we met the last person, she had trouble communicating with us. She only spoke Spanish.
Chloe's POV
"Pentatonix?" The girl said.
"She only speaks Spanish," her friend said. "She doesn't know any English."
"Hola," I said.
"Hola, mi llamo Lacey." Lacey said.
"Mi llamo Chloe. Yo es Scott's hija," I said.
"Cantas tú?" She asked.
"Yo canto poco," I said. "yo no muy bien."
"You speak Spanish?" Scott asked.
"Yeah, but only a little."
"Can you tell us what she said.?" Mitch asked.
"She said her name was Lacey and asked if I can sing." I explained.
"What did you say to her?" Kirstie asked. They seemed eager to know the whole conversation.
"I told her my name was Chloe and I was Scott's daughter. Then I told her that I could sing a little but I'm not that good." I explained. Looks like I'm the translator here. Great.
"You're good at singing!" Avi protested. I just shrugged.
"Cantas tú "Love Again" por favor?" Lacey asked.
"She asked if you could sing Love Again for her," I translated.
When they finished singing, Lacey applauded them. It looks like we made her happy.
Lacey whispered something into her friends ear.
"She wants to know if she can get your number, Chloe." she said.
"Sure," I reached into my pocket and gave Lacey my phone. We exchanged numbers.
"Adios!" Lacey said, waving.
"Bye!" I waved back.
"That was the longest trip to Starbucks ever!" Kevin said,getting up.
"We should probably leave now," Avi said. "We have a birthday to celebrate!"
We all got up and left Starbucks.
This is the best birthday ever!
