(We start off at Shalour city gym)
Korrina: Lucario! Alright! Unlike he power within! Mega evolve! (We see Lucario mega evolve)
(We see Ash and everyone watching in the stands)
Ash: here it comes.
(We then see a male with a quilladon)
Person: don't let it get to you, use wood hammer!
(Quilladon uses wood hammer and leaps in)
Korrina: aura sphere!
(Lucario charges amd fires an aura sphere as quilladon brings down the wood hammer and the moves clash until quilladon is overpowered and launched back)
Person: oh no quilladon!
(Quilladon lands on the ground unable to battle)
Referee (Gurkinn): Quilladon is unable to battle, Lucario wins and that means the victor is Korrina!
(We see mega Lucario go back to normal Lucario)
Ash: Korrina!
Korrina: (waves) hi Ash!
Ash: wow what a great battle! (To Lucario) Lucario, that's your key to powering up.
((Y/N) feels a huge as he sees venusaur)
(Y/N): you're interested too?
(Venusaur nods as it remembers back to it's fight with mega lopunny)
(Y/N): I get it you wanna mega evolve and get stronger like lopunny right.
(Venusaur nods)
(Y/N): it's not gonna be easy if we can get the mega stone for you but we do have a good partner to help you train with it.
(Venusaur looks determined as (Y/N) is smiling)
(Down at the battlefield where Korrina is skating about)
Ash: man, you two are strong. That's some power.
Goh: that battle was super cool, wow!
Korrina: come on, don't overdo it.
Gurkinn: what's this overdo it talk?
Korrina: hi there grandfather.
Gurkinn: you've been standing on your own only recently right?
Korrina: oh grandfather, I wish you'd give me credit every now and then.
Gurkinn: now Goh, are you keeping yourself busy catching lots more Pokémon.
Goh: yes sir, thank you for helping me awhile back.
Gurkinn: (Y/N) congratulations for reaching the great class
(Y/N): cheers mate.
Gurkinn: and Ash congratulations for reaching the ultra class.
Ash: thanks so much.
Korrina: can't let him get too far ahead.
Ash: Korrina, I really wanna mega evolve my Lucario. I think it will help me work through the ultra class and then the master class.
(The two Lucario stare at each other as Ash's remembers back to Korrina's vs Dragonite)
Korrina: (puts a hand on Ash's Lucario's shoulder) okay, got it. I'm sure you and Ash will be able to do it. Right Lucario. (Her Lucario agrees)
(Outside the gym)
Korrina: here you go.
Ash: woah it's a mega glove.
Goh: wow is that really a key stone?
(Y/N): welcome to the gang (shows mega ring)
Goh: oh yeah you have acces to mega evolution too.
(Y/N): (shows left arm) for mega evolvution and (shows right arm with his black Z power ring) for Z moves.
Ash: thank you Korrina
Korrina: try it on for size.
Ash: right, (puts the glove on) wow. (The key stone glistens and glows as Lucario uses its aura powers)
Goh: hey, that looks like ot can mega evolve right now.
Gurkinn: no that is impossible. For a Pokémon to mega evolve it's trainer needs a key stone and must resonate with the mega stone the Pokémon is holding. Each Pokemon species that can mega evolve has it's own mega stone and for Lucario, one needs Lucarionite and so, Ash and Lucario, you'll need to go on a search for a lucarionite. The act of simply holding a key stone will heighten Lucario's aura power.
Ash: huh? (Looks at it as Lucario begins walking) right.
(Lucario goes to a railing and using its aura and holding it's arms out)
Gurkinn: it looks like it's starting to sense it.
Korrina: from the direction of mega island.
Ash/Goh/(Y/N): mega island?
(We cut to them travelling by boat)
Gurkinn: quite impressive that's it's able to sense the lucarionite so quickly. That's proof positive that the powerful bond formed between the two of you runs very deep.
Goh: they were initially drawn to each other while Lucario was still a Pokemon egg.
(Memwores back to riolu's first day of being hatched as they approach closer and can see the island)
Korrina: that's mega island.
Gurkinn: it suddenly appeared one day. We wlewrntbwe could find all kinds of mega stones there.
Korrina: that's why people started to call it mega island.
Gurkinn: maybe that's why many wild Pokémon that can mega evolve have gathered there.
Goh: the there are lots of Pokemon!
(Y/N): hear that venusaur we're close to getting you a venusaurite.
(Venusaur looks ready)
Goh: Venasaur too?
(Y/N): yeah after witnessing lopunny mega evolving it wants to get stronger.
(They get closer as Ash and Lucario look at it as something erupts from the water as a gyarados jumps over them)
Ash: a gyarados. (Smiling) I'm feeling an adventure coming on!
(They ready land)
Ash: okay we're off.
(Y/N): us too.
Gurkinn: right take care. Now (winks at Korrina) make sure you keep an eye on them.
Korrina: grandfather (winks back) I've got this.
(They begin the climb as Lucario and Pikachu sense something as there's a glowing red light)
Goh: wow you really found it fast huh.
Ash: let's go see.
(They go into the cage as it begins moving)
(Y/N): it's moving!
Goh: wait up!
(They see it's a sableye)
Ash: a sableye?
(Ash and co slide down the ice as Lucario slams one if it's spikes on it's hands into the ice to slow itself down as the people, venusaur and Pikachu fall over the edge as Lucario grabs Ash who Pikachu is holding onto, Ash grabs Goh who grookey is holding onto and Goh grabs Korrina but (Y/N) and venusaur keep falling)
Korrina: (Y/N)!
(Y/N): venusaur use your vines like a grappling hook and then dig them into the ice like an anchor!
(Venusaur does that and it's vines are now planted into the ground as it pulls itself up)
(Y/N): good job.
(Venuaur extends a vine and (Y/N) accepts it as he gets pulled up)
Ash: Lucario are you okay?
(Lucario is struggling)
Goh: how do we get back up there?
Ash: let's get help from our Pokemon. Pikachu get me a pokeball.
(Pikachu shuffles about and gets out a pokeball)
Goh: Pikachu get mine too.
(Pikachu gets one of Goh's too as Pikachu throws them and sends out Dragonite and flygon)
(A/N): the animation company knew what they were doing here. Including flygon in a mega evolution based episode because we really wanted flygon to get one. I don't know why but I feel like this is getting rubbed in our faces. Dragonite too I guess but not as much as flygon.
Korrina: Dragonite and flygon?
Goh: Korrina get on flygon.
Korrina: got it, I'll try.
(She gets in flygon as it carries Goh in it's arms and begins to fly up)
Ash: Dragonite pick us up okay.
(We then see Dragonite carrying Ash and Lucario in it's arms and Pikachu on it's head)
Ash: hey an abomasnow.
(Abomasnow fires an ice move which they dodge)
Goh: it's so icy because abomasnow is here on mega island.
Korrina: I suggest not to forget why we're here.
Ash: we won't forget right Lucario,
(Lucario just seems to sigh)
Ash: sure is a lot of fun this mega island.
(We see abomasnow hit venusaur with the same ice move but venusaur begins to get frozen)
(Y/N): Venusaur! Hang in there! You wanna get strong right! If so use sludge bomb!
(Venusaur nods and despite beginning to get frozen powers through and uses sludge bomb hitting abomasnow)
(Y/N): wait for me! Venusaur return for now, I'll send you back out when we get across and are in a more suitable area (Returns venusaur and sends out Tropius) let's go.
(We cut to see Tropius, Dragonite and flygon carrying their trainers in a different area)
Ash: Lucario can you sense where the mega stone is.
(Lucario uses it's aura to sense as they see a pidgeot and salamence)
Ash: it's a salamence!
Goh: and a pidgeot!
(The salamence uses flamethrower as pidgeot avoids it and uses gust knocking them all to thr bouncy things as Goh and Lucario are bounced away)
Ash: Goh! Lucario!
(Y/N): Tropius return! (Returns Tropius) great work.
(Goh and Lucario blast off as flygon chases after them)
Ash: Goh, Lucario.
Korrina: the sky looks bad.
Ash: huh?
(Looks up and we see the pidgeot and salamence are still fighting)
Ash: Dragonite return okay. (Returns Dragonite) thanks Dragonite.
Korrina: they flew over that way huh. I hope flygon is able to locate them.
Ash: let's hurry and find them too.
Korrina: right.
(Y/N): rescue Lucario and Goh is a go.
(Meanwhile Goh, grookey and Lucario crash into a rocky area as they land on something and their faces heat up as it's boiling as they were on top of a camerupt's volcano like humps as they frantically run about and narrowly avoids jets of lava shooting up from the ground)
Goh: what's with this place!
(Flygon arrives)
Goh: flygon! (Flygon almost gets caught in it) look out! Return! (Returns flygon as he looks to see Lucario sweating and panting)
Goh thoughts: that's right steel types are weak against fire. Okay then (gets out a pokeball)
Goh: panpour! (Sends out panpour) use rain dance!
(Panpour uses rain dance as they run with the rain cloud over them)
Goh: how's that Lucario. We can get out in one go. (Sees camerupt) of course this is my chance to catch it! Alright pokeball go!
(He throws it as it hits camerupt and goes in the pokeball and shakes three times and pings signalling he's caught it)
Rotom phone: camerupt has been registered to your Pokédex.
Goh: I just caught a camerupt! Cinderace let's go! (Sends out cinderace) use pyro ball!
(Cinderace uses pyro ball which gets rid of the fire blocking their path as they continue the run)
Goh: right now let's hurry up and get out of here!
(They get out of there as they stop and take a breather)
Goh: everyone okay?
(Grookey, panpour and Lucario shakes the water off them)
Goh: cinderace, panpour thanks. (Returns them both)
Goh: (gets phone out) I should probably contact Ash or (Y/N). (Tries but it's not working) I don't have any connection.
(Lucario closes it's eyes and puts it's arms in the air using it's aura powers)
Goh: Lucario?
(With Ash, (Y/N) and Korrina they are making their way across the lily pad looking things as Ash senses something and looks at his mega glove)
Ash: the key stone.
Korrina: I think it's Lucario's aura.
Ash; huh?
Korrina: Ash, are you sensing anything?
(Ash closes his eyes and fox yes as his glove keystone flows blue as we see Lucario glow brighter and the mega glove keystone does too as we see everything around Ash fade to black and his eyes are closed)
Ash POV
Ash thoughts: Lucario. Lucario.
(Back with Lucario it picks up where Ash is and turns that direction as it communicates back to Ash and Ash nods his head as Lucario increases it's aura output and we see the outline of Goh and grookey as Ash's eyes open)
Ash: it's Lucario.
(With Lucario)
Goh: hey it's gotta be Ash, he's okay right.
(Lucario rushes off as we see Ash smiling as Pikachu talks to him)
Ash: I sense Lucario it's aura came to me.
Korrina: that's great! Your binds are really strong!
Ash: and Goh and grookey where in it's aura too, all together.
(Ash senses the aura again)
(Y/N): that bond is really something.
(Suddenly (Y/N) is grabbed and taken away by a vine)
Korrina/Ash: (Y/N)!
(Y/N): I'll be fine! You focus on getting Goh, grookey and Lucario!
(We see Goh and grookey running after Lucario as Lucario is running it can see Ash's aura but it can also sense the aura of something else, maybe a certain mega stone as Ash senses it too)
Ash: let's go Korrina.
Korrina: to where Lucario is? (Goes after him)
Ash: it let me know. Lucario has found it's mega stone! If we head to the mega stone we'll find Lucario and Goh.
(With (Y/N))
(Y/N): (sees a venusaur is the culprit) Venusaur go! (Sends out his venusaur) now use sludge bomb!
(Venasaur's sludge bomb hits and stops the other Venasaur's vines and vine whip attack)
(Y/N): use power whip!
(Venusaur uses power whip but the other uses giga impadt and powers through hitting Venasaur)
(Y/N): venusaur!
(We see venusaur is still up)
(Y/N): good! now use sludge bomb again!
(Venusaur uses sludge bomb hitting)
(Y/N): (grins) good job.
(However his smile stops as venusaur seems unharmed and it uses frenzy plant as it hits Venusaur and venusaur is launched into the air and hits into a tree as its hurt by that)
(Y/N): it didn't do a thing.
(Venusaur gets back up slowly. However, it got up too slow as the wild venusaur leaps in with a skull bash)
(Y/N): use your vines and dodge it!
(We see venusaur wrap it's vines around a tree and the vines have enough to strength to pull venusaur out the way as skull bash misses and venusaur swings around a tree and crashes into the other venusaur pinning it to the ground)
(Y/N): sludge bomb again!
(Venusaur hits a point blank sludge bomb as the wild one powers through and gets venusaur off)
(Y/N): use solar beam!
(Venusaur charges solar beam but the wild one uses flash blinding venusaur as it misses its solar beam as the wild one hits venusaur with vine whip and it works hurting venusaur as it charges with skull bash hitting it this time and venusaur falls back heavily damaged but it still gets up)
(Y/N): good job. (They see a shine as they see a mega stone behind it)
(Y/N): a mega stone! We've got to win this venusaur! You've got this!
(Venusaur nods and more determined leaps at the venusaur taking another skull bash head on)
(Y/N): now power whip!
(Venusaur uses power whip hitting the wild venusaur and we see the damage is starting to take effect)
(Y/N): Sludge Bomb!
(It uses sludge bomb as the other uses giga impact and the giga impact juts stops short of venusaur as it can't take the bombardment of sludge bombs as it lands on it's back)
(Y/N): now solar beam!
(Venusaur charges solar beam as the wild one uses flash again but as flash stops we see venusaur closed it's eyes and it opens them and blasts solar beam hitting the wild venusaur as it's unable to battle)
(Y/N): good job.
(We see Venusaur panting a lot but nods and is smiling as they get the mega stone and make their way to the direction Ash and Korrina were gonna go)
(With Goh)
Goh: it's amazing, this aura stuff.
(They all run their way there)
(With Ash)
Ash: Lucario I know it! I can sense it too! (Referring to the mega stone)
(With Lucario and Goh as Lucario stops as it's looking at a rock as Goh feels a smaller nearby one)
Goh: it's so smooth. (Looks as Lucario approaches the big center one as it touches the rock and using it's aura on the rock)
(With Ash as he senses something and looks at his glove as Ash and Korrina head for the same rock)
(With (Y/N))
(Y/N): (singing to pass the time) why should I worry, why should I care. Say, I may not have a dime, oh, but We've got street savoire faire. Why should we worry, why should we care, it's just a bebopulation. We've got street savoire faire
(A/N): does anyone know what song that's from without looking it up?
(We see Venusaur nodding along to the beat as they then see they're close)
(Y/N): we're almost there!
(We see them running but Venusaur sees something and shouts out as (Y/N) looks as well to see a mega stone embedded high up)
(Y/N): that's a mega stone alright but I can't tell which one from down here.
(Venusaur begins the ascent but is interrupted as a roar is heard and a tyranitar appears)
(Y/N): tyranitar!
(Tyranitar uses flamethrower as Venusaur just manages to dodge)
(Y/N): power whip!
(Venusaur uses power whip but tyranitar dodges the first one and powers through and grabs Venusaur's vines on the second swing as it pulls Venusaur and hits it with a powerful point blank flamethrower as it then uses iron tail on Venusaur as it releases it hitting Venusaur's legs as Venusaur is sent sliding down the terrain and crashing onto the floor)
(Y/N): Venusaur!
(Venusaur struggles but gets up as tyranitar charges hyper beam)
(Y/N): solar beam!
(Venusaur charges solar beam as they both fire at similar times and the moves cancel each other out)
(With Ash)
Ash: (arriving at the rock) what is this place?
Korrina: they call it the steel forest.
Ash: steel forest? Huh? (Sees Goh and Lucario) Lucario! (Lucario looks at him and stops using it's aura) I sensed it, I felt your aura!
(They fist bump)
Goh: listen Ash, Lucario thinks there's something located here.
Ash: Lucarionite.
(Lucario nods as they look up to the top as Ash approaches the rocks and gently hits against it)
Ash: so the Lucarionite is inside of this? (Jumps back) get it out with aura sphere.
(Lucario uses aura sphere hitting the bottom of it as something happens throughout the whole thing from the inside as it then completely breaks as they see the mega stone floating above)
Ash: Lucarionite.
Goh: why is it hovering?
(They hear a laugh)
???: a complete success! You must realise it by now.
(We see a man floating there as he has a wooden staff and a long beard with a key stone attached to it and he's in weird clothing)
Mega evolution sage (Gurkinn again): behold the mega evolution sage is here!
Ash: mega evolution sage!?
Goh: who's that!? Is he floating up there!
(Meanwhile Korrina's eyes are white in surprise since she knows who it is and she's in on the little secret between her and her grandfather)
Mega evolution sage: (laughs) we finally meet. If you wish to take possession of the lucarionite you first must take it away from me! (We see a alakazam next to him who's the cause of the levitation as he's levitated down to the ground)
Ash: an alakazam.
Goh: what's with this made up rule.
Ash: Goh, it'll be just fine.
Goh: huh?
Ash: we accept your challenge! (Lucario nods)
Korrina: (gives a thumbs up) now that's how it should be.
Mega evolution sage: (laughs) let the battle for the lucarionite begin this very instant!
Goh: this is not normal.
(With (Y/N))
(Tyranitar charges another hyper beam)
(Y/N): use power whip on the ground beneath it!
(Power whip goes and destroys the ground beneath it knocking it's footing off balance and hyper beam misses)
(Y/N): quick grab it!
(Venusaur charges up the side and tyranitar gets back up and goes to use flamethrower as it hits but as Venusaur is hit we see it extend a vine out and grab the stone as tyranitar sees this and gets extra mad as it uses hyper beam hitting Venusaur launching back)
(Y/N): (sees Venusaur keep trying to get up to continue to fight but keeps falling back down) it's okay. We'll do this together, all of us.
(We then see light from a pokeball pop out as pupitar pops out and uses dark pulse as it counters flamethrower)
(Y/N): pupitar use stone edge!
(Pupitar uses Stone edge as tyranitar uses dragon pulse and the stalemate continues as it charges another hyper beam)
(Y/N): use stomping tantrum!
(Pupitar uses stomping tantrum as it hits tyranitar as it falls on it's back and hyper beam shoots into the air as Korrina sees it)
Korrina: what's going on there?
(Back at the battle)
(Y/N): let's do this! Use crunch!
(We see it use crunch as it hits)
(Y/N): again!
(It does so but tyranitar emerges and uses flamethrower)
(Y/N): dodge it!
(We see pupitar spin out the way and hit crunch as it gets shaken off and hit with iron tail)
(Y/N): pupitar!
(Tyranitar turns to Venusaur who has the mega stone as it goes to use iron tail as Venusaur goes to move but it won't be able to in time but pupitar leaps up and clashes head on with it as it is covered in a blue light as it begins change shape as it evolves into tyranitar)
(Y/N): way to go!
(We then see his tyranitar use crunch and hit tyranitar knocking it back)
(Y/N): finish this!
(We see tyranitar use earthquake hitting tyranitar and making it unable to battle)
(Y/N): good job.
Tyranitar movepool: crunch, dark pulse, earthquake, stone edge
(We see tyranitar approach him as he looks angered as Venusaur puts a vine in front of it's trainer to try and protect him)
(Y/N): (gets out the vine) it's fine. (Him and tyranitar make eye contact) I believe in you, you're the same as before aren't you, you won't attack me.
(Tyranitar is now face to face with him as we see tyranitar has a smirk form on it's face)
(Y/N): let's go.
(They head off)
(At the same time back with Ash)
Mega evolution sage: it is time for the mega evolution sage, everybody's hero, to show his stuff (twirls his staff around) right! Now mega evolve!
(His beard keystone activates and alakazam mega evolves as Ash is grinning)
Goh: mega alakazam.
(The stone floats towards it)
Ash: let's go Lucario! Use aura sphere!
Mega evolution sage: use psybeam!
(They both fire their attacks and the two attacks clash and cancel each other out)
Ash: use double team!
(Lucario jumps as loads of Lucario appear)
Mega evolution sage: fire the spoons at once!
(Alakazam fires all it's spoons getting rid of the clones as the real Lucario hits the spoon away)
Ash: alright!
(Lucario reaches out)
Mega evolution sage: tri attack go now!
(Mega alakazam summons three balls, one of fire, one of ice and one of electric and fires them hitting Lucario knocking it back into the ground as Lucario has been brought to one knee as sparks of electricity come off if meaning it's paralysed)
Goh: that move left it completely paralysed.
Mega evolution sage: (laughs) I think that wraps things up. Tri attack has the power to burn, freeze or paralyse. One will happen eventually.
Ash: you can still move. Lucario jump!
(Lucario manages to move through the paralysis and jump from the rock and in the air is effected by the paralysis again and falls)
Goh: you can do it Lucario!
(At this time in his own battle (Y/N) has just said "it's okay. We'll do this together, all of us.")
Ash: now jump one more time.
(Lucario gets back up and jumps again scaling from rock to rock and as it gets to the top of the highest one the paralysis kicks on but it shakes it off and toughens it out)
Ash: again!
(Lucario jumps as Ash and Pikachu are grinning as the mega evolution sage is smiling and then suroised as he realised Lucario got it and totally not Gurkinn breaking character and being proud before realising he's meant to be the opposition but it's too late as Lucario grabs mega alakazam's beard and pulls it down using it as a stepping stone as it grabs the lucarionite)
(Lucario looks at Ash and grins while holding it as Ash is smiling and nods)
Ash: we got a lucarionite, you're awesome.
Goh: alright! (Rushes over)
(Korrina hears something and looks to see a hyper beam shot up straight in the air)
Korrina: what's going on?
(Despite that she looks back at Ash and smiles and nods)
Korrina: congratulations!
Ash: you did it Lucario!
Goh: amazing!
(The mega evolution sage grins and laughs confusing Ash and Goh)
Mega evolution sage: (stops laughing) as for the true ice of everyone's hero, the mega evolution sage... (takes off beard, clothes and wig)
Ash: huh?!
Gurkinn: I love a good surprise. Your bond with Lucario is strong, I'm quite impressed. Thank you for guiding them here Korrina.
Korrina: talk about overdoing it grandfather.
Ash: huh? Are you telling me you knew all along?
Goh: you're kidding me.
Gurkinn: (laughs) truly enjoyable. (Mega alakazam floats down) maybe I'll do this again.
Goh: um...
(Short Timeskip: (Y/N) arrives)
(Y/N): we made it!
(They look to see (Y/N), Venusaur and a tyranitar)
Goh: woah!
Ash: did pupitar evolve!
Gurkinn: so you passed your trial too.
(Y/N): trial?
(We see the tyranitar and Venusaur they fought appear and approach Gurkinn)
Gurkinn: thank you.
(Tyranitar nods)
(Y/N): vensaur let's check the mega stone you got,
(Venusaur passes it over and it is indeed a venusaurite)
(Y/N): it's the right one. Plus, you also passed my test.
(Venusaur looks confused)
(Y/N): nothing pays off more than hard work and the resolve and dedication to wanting to become stronger proved to me that you are ready for mega evolution, doing it will be a cinch.
(We then see the tyranitar approach as it holds out another mega stone)
(Y/N): huh?
(It gives it to his tyranitar and we see it's a tyranitarite)
(Y/N): woah! Thank you!
(Tyranitar nods it's head as it fist bumps his tyranitar)
(We then see them leaving mega island on the boat as we see the wild Venusaur and Tyranitar waving goodbye before leaving to do their own things)
Ash: let's get way stronger Lucario!
(Lucario agrees as his phone goes off and he checks it and laughs)
Ash: look at this (shows phone) my next ultra class opponent is chosen!
(They look)
(Y/N): lucky you! (Laughs)
Goh: it's Bea! Woah!
(Korrina gasps at that too)
Goh: it's your third match with her.
(Y/N): well "third time's the charm".
Ash: I'll win this time. It's time to settle this Lucario.
(Lucario looks at him and agrees)
(A/N): sorry about being bad for a few days but after a few good night's sleep I'm feeling good enough to write and finish this off (I'm not completely better but I'm significantly better compared to about 2 or 3 days ago but I'm still gonna take it easy to make sure that I don't go back overbeing really ill again)
