Shawn's POV:
It's been about 2 weeks since Y/n got out of the hospital. The pain I've felt is unbearable. Now that all my feelings for her are confirmed, I feel so guilty for bullying her all this time. I never knew how much power my words could have.
I watched her pretend to laugh with her friends at her locker. I knew those weren't her friends because they treated her like shit. They soon left her in the dust like always and I could see it in her eyes, the way she always stated at the floor; she wasn't happy. I know I had caused some of that.
I took a deep breath and walked over. She looked up and all I could see was fear in her eyes. She slammed her locker shut and walked away quickly.
"Y/n!"
"Wait up!"
"Please," I said, devastated that she kept walking when I knew she had heard me the first time.
She turned around slowly, then glanced from side to side. She walked back, then mumbled follow me as she passed. I followed along, and she brought me to the bottom of our school's stairwell.
"What do you want Shawn." She demanded immediately. I sighed lowly. This was going to take a while to convinced her of anything.
"I'm sorry." Was all I could manage to say.
"That's it? You just wanted to say sorry?" She seemed confused.
"You're not going to beat me up?" She asked, stunned when I shook my head.
"I'm never doing that to you again," I replied, shaking my head.
"O-oh, okay. I'm sorry too." She said, releasing a breath.
"Princess, you have nothing to be sorry about," I blurted, then clamped my hand over my mouth.
Oh my god, I just called her a princess.
"Yes I do. I'm sorry I rejected you really harshly. I'm just really scared of you." She barely spoke the last part. I suddenly grabbed her hand and held it tightly, trying to provide her a sense of comfort.
"I'm sorry I fucked everything up, you don't deserve it." I mumbled, looking at her shoes.
"You're right, no one deserves that." I immediately let go of her hand, my eyes filled with sorrow.
"Can we start over?" She nodded.
Okay, this is the time. Kiss her now and you can be an amazing boyfriend.
I leaned in, then felt a burning sensation on my cheek. I opened my eyes and stared at her.
"Ow!" I said, grabbing my cheek.
"I'm sorry, but I don't believe I know you." She said, an odd but stern look in her eyes. I watched as she got up and left me sitting alone on the stairs. The only thing was; she knew me and was wishing she hadn't.
