On Run with Nat
Nat: So, where are we running to?
Y/N: I was thinking about running about 8 miles
Nat: Really?
Y/N: What? Don't think that I could do it?
Nat: That's not what I am saying. Just didn't think you would want to run 8 miles
You are now a mile in and Nat is starting to sweat. You on the other hand have not. You take a sip of your water and so does Nat.
Nat: Ok, how are you not sweating yet?
Y/N: Idk. It's more around mile 6, I will start to sweat.
Nat: Ok
You have now made it to mile 3 and you take another sip of water. Nat is starting to slow down, so you start to run backwards and start to talk to Nat to get another 2 miles before you decide to stop for Nat's sake. When you make it to the 5th mile, you stop because you can see that Nat is tired and needs to stop. You find a bench and Nat sits while you do some jumping jacks so that you don't cramp up. You sit down next to Nat on the bench. After 10 minutes of sitting, you look at Nat
Y/N: So, do you want to run back or do you want me to call Wanda for you?
Nat: If you call Wanda, are you going to get in or you going to run back? What's your numbers?
Y/N: I will be nice and get into the car so that I don't over do it. As far as my numbers it's at 135 but it is dropping. It's actually 130 and I feel amazing. Let me call Wanda to come grab us.
Phone call to Wanda
Wanda: Hey, what's up? Everything ok?
Y/N: Hey bubba. We need a ride
Wanda: How far are you guys?
Y/N: Well we are only 5 miles or so out and I wanted to go out around 8 miles. I feel great, mom not so much
Wanda: Ok. I'm on my way. Be there in about 5 minutes
Y/N: Thanks bubba
Wanda: Yep
Ends phone call
Y/N: Hey mom, Wanda will be here in about 5 minutes
Nat: Ok sounds good
Y/N: Are you ok mom?
Nat: Yah, just not used to running more than 3 miles total. But I know that I should be doing more but just don't like running
Y/N: Ok, well if you want to start running more, I will go with you
Nat: Deal, but how do you have so much energy all the time?
Y/N: Honesty, I'm not sleeping again and doing energy drinks and working out when I'm not hanging out with you, Wanda, or the family or I'm in the music room
Nat: How much sleep are you getting a night?
Y/N: On a good night, 3 hours. On a night of nightmares or flashbacks, 45 minutes to 1 hour
Nat: Why haven't you said anything?
Y/N: I'm not sure. I guess I didn't want to bother you or mum about it. Speaking of mum, when is some coming back? I miss her
Nat: Maybe another week or so, but back to you and we are talking about this
Y/N: It's just the nerves lately. It's only been like this for the past two weeks
Nat: So, you've been like this since after the wedding?
Just as you were about to answer, Wanda pulled up and you both got in and headed back to the compound. In the car, you answered Nat's question.
Y/N: To answer your question mom, the answer is yes. About that long
Wanda: What are you two talking about now? Should I be concerned?
Nat: Ever since the wedding, she is barely sleeping and running off energy drinks. She has been working out like long hours, running or in the music room for long hours when she isn't hanging out with us or the family. On a good night, she said a max of 3 hours otherwise 45 mins to 1 hour due to nightmares or flashbacks. She says it's nerves but didn't want to bother any of us.
Wanda: Didn't we talk about this the last time you did this?
Y/N: Yes but
Wanda: No buts. You know that I can't lose you and neither can Nat. Why are you truly not talking about it? I think it is time to talk about what happened when you were with Hydra dn the Red Room.
You all got out of the car and headed to the cabin to get the most privacy from the team. You all sit down on the couch and you took a deep breath before you started to speak about what happened.
Y/N: Ok. So when I was in the Red Room, I was tortured for information on where mom and Yelena was at. When I didn't give them what they wanted they would rape me and starve me and after awhile I was no longer a person with emotion, that Dreykov thought that I would be better off in Hydra with Rumlow where the tortured continued and that's when Rumlow would experiment on me. That is where I got my powers. Once I got my powers, they let up a bit but not much. I learned to have lots of energy with little food and little sleep. I guess that I'm starting to slip back into that habit again. When mom found me, I had literally just got back to Dreykov like two days before but got me out before Dreykov could make me into his newest project. I was going to be the Shadow Widow where I would be better than any widow including Taskmaster. I was wishing everyday that they would just kill me but that didn't happen. When things get really bad, I still have the thoughts but have no plans to do it. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you two sooner. I just couldn't. I still can't but needed too.
You pull your knees up to your chest and start to cry. Nat and Wanda hug you and try to calm you down so that you don't have an episode. You calmed down enough when Nat asked you a question about the Red Room.
Nat: Sweetheart, who was the one that would torture you in the Red Room?
Y/N: Um... There were two people. Dreykov was one of them. I didn't know the other one.
Wanda: Are you ok though? I know it was a lot to talk about
Y/N: Yah I'm ok. Just actually glad that I was able to get that off my chest finally, to be honest.
Nat: Are you sure? I'm really sorry that I forced you to talk but you needed to tell us
Y/N: It's ok mom. I promise, it's ok
Wanda: Do you want to go back to the compound for dinner with everyone?
Y/N: Yes please
Nat: Lets go see what dinner is tonight
Y/N: I thought Tony said Mexican tonight
Wanda: Ok, lets go have tacos then
Nat: Sounds good
You all get into the car and head back over to the compound. When you get out, you look at Nat and Wanda and hug them.
Y/N: Can you two not tell anyone about my past please? Mom you can tell mum if she wants to know but I really don't want Aunt Yelena or anyone else to know, please?
Nat: Deal
Wanda: Deal
You all go into the compound and wash up and sit down for dinner to have tacos. Once dinner was done, you helped Tony clean up. Then you hugged Uncle Tony then head up to your room to listen to music and possibly write a new song. When you got to your room, you got changed into your pjs, grabbed headphones and start playing music on loud. After about 2 hours you felt arms around you and you see that it's Wanda. You take out your headphones then hug Wanda back and kiss her.
Y/N: Everything ok bubs?
Wanda: I could ask you that. Tony said that you hugged him after helping him clean up dinner then you disappeared to the room and wasn't listening when anyone called your name, not even FRIDAY.
Y/N: Oh sorry. I didn't realize that I had these up so loud. I'm sorry bubs.
Wanda: Come here. Lets cuddle and relax for the rest of the night
Y/N: Can we watch a movie?
Wanda: What movie?
Y/N: Can we watch some Green Arrow on Netflix?
Wanda: Ofc
Wanda gets into bed and opens her arms and you get into bed and lay your head onto Wanda's chest and lay your arm across her waist. Wanda hits play and after about 3 episodes of Green Arrow you were asleep, so Wanda turned off the TV, kissed your head and told FRIDAY to set an alarm for 8:30 am. Wanda then closed her eyes and next thing you know it was morning and the alarm was going off. Wanda turns off the alarm and wakes you up with kisses.
