"For Paul."
When Paul Walker died, I wasn't much of a fan. So I didn't really mourn him or grieve. I started watching F&F after he died. And I get too attached to fictional things. So, as it came to an end this week, as the last movie was aired, it really hit me. That it is the end of yet another thing I love. That he is actually literally gone forever. And so today, after almost 2 years, I'm grieving the loss of Paul and the end of Brian O'Connor. I'm grieving the people I've lost, and the things I loved that have ended. This has reminded me again that everything has an end, and you should appreciate it while it lasts. Be close to God. Pray. Tell the ones you love you love them. Smile at strangers. Laugh with your friends. Hug your parents. Tease your siblings. Study hard. Play hard. Do everything hard and fair, give everything its right, so when it ends, you don't have anything to regret.
