A careless Rosario fakes an excuse
to flee into vacation with Amado
who remains distracted with her company
putting his business off to the side.

𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠 : 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐳𝐜𝐚 - 𝐉𝐨𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧
The man dressed all in black stepped off a pickup truck then made his way into a Cuban-style architecture home, He calmly moved down the tea-green painted halls that lead from the entrance to the back door. Upon placing foot outside the large frame, he caught sight of an awaited for face.
Through the corner of her eye, Rosario spotted the tall figure that had now stepped into the scene. She turned to her left, and a broad smile manifests itself on her face — a couple of feet away from her, she saw her freedom and the hero behind her only dream: to be loved
Amado stood in place for a moment, he admired her from afar while internally cursing himself out for allowing his emotions to drive him out on every decision regarding her.
The girl stood up pulling her feet and calves out of the water, the half-open magazine in her hand was set down too close to the edge causing it to slip into the water and she happily strolled her way to him.

Rosario stepped away from the kitchen island now heading towards the small living area with a peach in her hand "Cuanto tiempo?" (How long?)
Amado looked up at her from the single white couch he was sitting at "Desde que arrestaron a Miguel Ángel" (Ever since they arrested Miguel Ángel) he responded before tapping his lap, gesturing for her to go to him
She shook her head slowly "No, yo pregunto lo de piloto" (No, I'm asking you about being a pilot) She corrected him letting out a soft laugh before making her way over to him
Amado looked up at the girl standing between his legs "Lo de ser piloto?" (About being a pilot?) he appeared confused, she wasn't asking the typical questions every girl would be curious to ask. The male reached for her hand lightly pulling her onto him.
She brought herself to sit on his lap, wrapped an arm around him for support while placing her palm down onto his thigh to comfortably adjust herself on him getting her legs up above his other leg "Mhm" she hummed in response
"No vas a lavar el durazno primero?" (Aren't you washing that first?) He jokingly asked while fixing an arm around her bringing his hand to rest on her hips
Rosario shook her head, she eyed him while rubbing one side of the peach on his shirt before letting out a laugh and biting into it.
His eyes followed her movements, her playful action caused him to laugh and throw his head back before looking at her again and shaking his head "De tantas mujeres y mira donde vine a dar" (Out of all the women I can't believe I'm here with you) He joked messing with her again
The dark humorous comment made Rosario laugh again "De tantas? Te la pasas conmigo" (Out of all the women? I've always only seen you with me) she joked back taking another bite from the peach
Amado laughed even louder than before given the fact she had a smart comeback for him "La suerte que te cargas" (That's how lucky you are) he teased
"Suerte? Suerte la tuya" (Me lucky? You're the lucky one) She turned to look at him, her hand behind his neck fidgeting with the ends of his hair
Rosario unawarely let out a long but appreciative sigh, her eyes began to wander through his face and its traits ... the facial hair that gave him the manly look he proudly and suitably carried, his narrowed eyes, the way a couple of short strands of hair hung by his forehead and of course, his lips.
"Que tanto miras?" (What're you so busy looking at?) He interrupted her daze curious to know what she was thinking
Her gaze finally met with his own, she shrugged before dropping her eyes down to his chest noticing the gold chain that hung from his neck then up at him again "Me pareces bello, eso es todo" (I just think you're beautiful, that's it) a playful smile drew up on her face before looking away at the outside trees visible through the window nearby
The word caught Amado by surprise, he kept a focus on the distracted girl as his eyebrows furrowed together for half a second before relaxing them again, the 'keeping each other company' plan was crumbling down in the shape of a heart softening.
He had no idea what it felt like to bring his guard down, vulnerability was not an option for him but why did her essence inspire him to give in.
As she's sitting on him, he realizes she stands against him with no shield and without rebelling. She'd given up life in a safe space only to walk alongside him to god knows where.
Rosario felt a sudden kiss placed on the crook of her neck, she leaned her skin into his touch and almost heard herself thanking him.
She needed him as much as he needed her.
Corral spoke into the phone "Patrón que está pasando? Pensé que Ayer se regresaba" (Boss what're you thinking? Thought you'd be back yesterday)
"Cambio de planes, qué pasó?" (New plans, what's wrong?) The Juarez cartel leader Responded
"Tijuana y Sinaloa están en guerra...necesitan saber en donde esta parado Juárez y la gente del chapo está haciendo preguntas que pues, yo no puedo responder. Se tienen que tomar decisiones que yo no puedo tomar, patrón no creo que podamos arriesgarnos a retrasar más su vuelo" (Tijuana and Sinaloa are at war... they want to know what's happening with Juarez, chapós people are asking questions that I can't answer. Decisions have to be made and I can't make them, Boss ... I don't think we should wait and postpone your flight again )
Amado sighed and rubbed his temples "Voy a regresar muy pronto, tu nomás ocúpate de los pinches números que es lo único que importa, estamos?" (I'll be back soon, you just have to take care of the numbers, that's the only thing that actually matters, understood?) he gave the last order to corral before looking up
His distraction made its way down the stairs in a burgundy three-piece lingerie, she'd added a burgundy mesh robe to incorporate some drama to the outfit.
The girl then stepped up to a table, she picked out two ice cubes and dropped them into a glass before pouring some whiskey into it and turning around to face the male who sat by a piano with the telephone in hand ... a teasing smirk made itself present at the sight of him
Amado's narrowed stare concentrated on her ...
"Nuestro trató con Cali se va a la chingada si este vato no le entra, te hablo aterrizando" (Our ... deal with Cali will go to hell if my new partner doesn't make a deal with us, I'll call you when I land) he lied
eager to hang up
Things no longer seemed complicated, they were already worse than complicated. The reason for Amado's delay? Rosario, who didn't do what he asked out of fear, but instead out of love.
"Que se vayan a la verga Min" ((Fuck these guys min) Francisco blurted out while pacing back and forth nonstop "No necesitamos a estos hijos de su puta madre" (we don't need these motherfuckers)
Benjamin sighed "Si Los necesitamos, son nuestro puente con los políticos" (yes we do man, these guys were our bridge to the politicians)
Franciso rolled his eyes then went to stand in front of his brother "Ya vamonos" (Let's go the fuck home)
Benjamin looked up at him before immediately looking away "Espérame en la troca" (I'll meet you in the car) with obvious reasons he finally accepted his truth though there was one last person who could offer him help, Father baiz.

From afar, a male stopped dancing when he caught a glance of the missing girl who had left Tijuana without much trace other than a letter and occasional calls.

Romeo stood and observed as Rosario stepped away from the bar area, he followed her with his eyes and an interesting scene unfolded right in front of him.
The curly-headed approached a tall figure, he dressed in all black including a black leather jacket and it was obvious he was much older than her.
She wrapped her free arm around his torso area then leaned her body into his chest and sipped from the glass in her hand while inadvertently pressing her leg against his thigh ... the casual action demonstrated this wasn't their first night with each other.

Amado's hand was initially placed at her waist though it began to slowly trace down the curve of her hips making a stop at her thigh. Rosario looked up at the male ... a couple of crucial seconds later he looked down and tangled his fingers in her hair before leaning down and beginning a kiss with the girl.
Now he understood where she'd been, Whether out of strategy or not it seemed as if she aimed for bigger with a purpose

Romeo let out a chuckle, he sat up and turned to the paez brother "No mames cabron ... perla y Graciela andan en Cancun juntas" (Fuck that man, Perla and Graciela are both in Cancun)
"Yo Que se, por ahí anda Rosario también" (What do I know, she's somewhere out there too)
Romeo stood up while shaking his head "Te digo algo? Yo la vi Kitty" ... "Y no sola, anda con Amado, el bato este de Juárez" (Let me tell you something, I saw her ... not alone, she's with this one Juarez dude, Amado)
The familiar name circled around kitty's head for a second before recognizing it. Arturo immediately sat up and removed the dark sunglasses from his face "No seas mamon, quien chingaos te dijo eso?" (Quit being an asshole, who told you that shit?)
"Como si importara, yo fuera tu, le hablaba y que sea antes te de sepa ramon porque ... " (as If that mattered, if I was you I'd call her and make it fast, before Ramon ends up finding out .. or) Romeo didn't even finish his sentence, both of them knew of the infatuation the Tijuana member had when it came to the girl.

Graciela had lost count on how many times she had visited the Arellano home expecting a look or word from Ramon.
Days continued to go by and Amado would only further postpone his flight. Rosario and her smile, her touch, and her energy — they captivatingly kept him around.
What had begun as a simple affair and form of entertainment now felt like a fresh addiction, her charming youth incited passion ... his lust has abruptly morphed into something deeper, care.
Rosario, carried by her wild nature had brought a challenge to his life ... she made him feel like a man by keeping her fragile yet insatiable character in sight.
She'd dress and undress just for him and no matter how physical the relationship was deemed off as, everything began to feel stronger.
