Cora's P.O.V
The fights should have been easy against these younger exorcists but it wasn't; the first problem came when myself, Road and Tyki were waiting in a livingroom pretty much we knew that Kanda had hung back to fight Skinn.
The rest of the exorcists had moved through the second door and would have been greeted by the twins in the arms library; they had been told that the debt left to them by Cross...was connected to Allen Walker since Allen was Cross's pupil. Not half an hour after the twins left both Tyki and Road started crying or more like having tears fall down their faces when Skinn had been defeated.
I had crutches to move around but at that point Tyki was holding me on his lap as I did my best to soothe the pain they felt. We had moved to the tower top by me teleporting us to the tower; there was a long table and food waiting as I sat wincing a little and Tyki moved checking on my ankle.
"I'm alright my love; it's going to be tender for a bit." Playfully rolling my eyes when Tyki dragged me on my chair to him as he let me elevate my ankle on his lap so I could relax.
"The swelling has gone down greatly since earlier; but I still don't want you walking around so much." Tyki frowned some but had placed a bag of ice back onto my ankle and I winced a little at the cold.
Tyki smirked when I flinched. "I'm not sorry you need the cold to reduce the swelling."
"They've left the vampire guy behind." Road spoke up from her spot as both myself and Tyki looked to her alert and then to the door knowing the remaining exorcists were headed our way. "Are you sure you will be alright Cora?"
I smiled softly. "Yep; don't worry if problems arise I'll go to the new ark and join up with Earl there."
Road smiled and giggled when I stole food from Tyki's plate and saw the playful glare I was getting. "No one has ever done that to you before Tyki."
"She does it often; when Cora would study so much I would have a plate between us to make her eat some food."
I playfully rolled my eyes but tensed when the twin doors started opening up and I bit back a snicker when Road went running and kissed Allen.
Tyki was shocked when Road kissed Allen since she only ever kissed Earl's cheek but that was it and never another member in the family. But I saw the light glare I was getting when I snickered at Road's actions.
Tyki sighed before he spoke. "Road are you really that taken to Allen Walker?"
Road playfully teased Tyki and I held out a hand to calm her down as she smiled to me and gave a hug before she whispered so I heard. "I have the key to the door for the new ark with me?" She slipped me the key as I nodded my head; this key was incase neither Road nor Tyki could get me to safety.
I looked up when Tyki spoke that we had gotten hungry while waiting and when he asked them if they wanted to know how much time they had left. The minute that they went to look Road locked the door and I smirked as well.
"Take a seat; the clock is ticking and you exorcists will not be leaving this place." I spoke up and saw the glare from Allen.
"You were there when Tyki attacked me last time; but your not a Noah are you?"
"Nope I'm human like you boy; the only difference is I was born with my powers and I hate the Order." Hearing a chuckle come from Tyki.
"I'm really hating your innocence boy; I got in trouble with Earl when he found out that it was still in one piece. But what I can't figure out...how did you survive when my teez ate through your heart." Tyki spoke standing and Road helped me as we got ready for a fight.
The other exorcists were shocked and it was obvious that Allen hadn't told them about that part which was funny as all for the rest of us. I tensed when Allen spoke and then ran the length of the table to attack Tyki.
Road made sure that the other exorcists didn't interfere in the fight and I used a barrier to stop the weaker ones from coming any closer as Road dealt with Lavi Bookman by sending his mind to her world. I felt sorry for the young man; for once your in Road's world your mind was truly the most dangerous thing you dealt with since she would use your fears against you.
I kept an eye on both of the fights and shook my head smiling when one of Tyki's bigger Teez had been sent to allow me to rest on it and keep me out of the worst of the fighting. At one point Road had encased the exorcists and floated up with them when Tyki made a vacuum and I could only guess he had started to snap.
"Road! Please tell me what's going on in there?! What is that thing?" The girl Lenalee spoke worried.
"Well that thing is a vacuum both Tyki and Allen are in there; Tyki can reject what ever he wants and he's probably rejected all the air in that vacuum." Road spoke as she stood on the Earl's umbrella thing.
I saw the fear one Lenalee's face before I spoke. "Tyki has always enjoyed fighting Allen no one has been able to give him the challenge he seeks in a fight. The fact that Tyki is being like this means he's no doubt snapped and wants to finish this fight now." I stayed on the Teez as I kept an eye on things and winced hiding my face when a green light broke through the vacuum and Tyki came sliding out.
"Tyki?!" Both myself and Road picked up and he stopped us from coming close to be safe.
"Cora I need you to leave babe; this is becoming to dangerous." Tyki spoke looking up and even I tensed seeing the look.
I bit my lip and when I saw Allen come out I tensed seeing the power and grabbed the key as Road summoned the door. "You better come back you two; especially you Tyki."
Tyki gave a soft smile and I moved through the door as Earl was waiting and I winced when I landed on the ground and the teez moved to rest back on it's spot on me before I followed the Earl using my crutches that the teez had brought with it.
"I'll make sure that they come back." Bringing me to the room where his skulls were and we could watch the fight.
I was shocked that I saw Tyki had been stabbed by Allen and tears appeared in my eyes as I felt Earl hold me close; this wasn't what I wanted. I couldn't loose Tyki I loved that man to no end. "T-Tyki..."
"Give it a couple minutes; his Noah isn't gone it's still there but weakened and snapped. If I have too I'll go get him but I need you here and ready to help heal him my dear."
I nodded my head. "Bring him to our room; I'll be ready for him." Still shaken but I wouldn't give up on Tyki I believed in him.
The Earl left to go retrieve Joyde who was fighting Cross and was loosing; once Earl left I had akuma servants get what I needed to tend to Tyki/Joyde.
Earl was got for a few minutes before he came back and I worried seeing Joyde was still out but that was to be expected he was the first Noah to fully release into this form. Once Earl laid him down I moved tending to the wounds before I started using my power to heal Joyde; it took awhile before Joyde receded back into Tyki to rest and heal and made my job easier.
Earl sighed softly in relief but we both knew that Road was still gone for a bit; but for now one member was better then none.
"Did the download succeed Earl?" I looked to him as I dipped a cloth in warm water to clean Tyki's wounds better.
"Sadly it didn't; that Walker boy along with Cross stopped it from happening. Don't worry about it for now my dear; take care of Tyki I'll check in on you both later. Make sure you rest as well my dear." Earl spoke as he left the room and I was starting to bandage Tyki.
I was shocked with how bad the wounds were and I was certain when they scarred they would still give him pain. It took me awhile to finish tending to Tyki's wounds and once I finished I sat down on the chair by the bed and elevated my sore ankle before I sighed and got up to go clean up the room, myself and Tyki. This was going to be a long while; I knew that Tyki would be in pain.
