"Sumali ka na kasi, Gelian..." I suggested while my arms were wrapped around his biceps.
Tumigil siya sa paglalakad nung makarating kami sa mini-garden ng campus. "Ayoko. Kahit anong pagpapa-cute mo, Zein, hindi ako sasali."
I pouted my lips upon hearing him. I hurriedly removed my arms and crossed them over my chest. "Siguro kaya ayaw mong sumali kasi natatakot kang matalo ulit kagaya sa basketball..."
Tumaas ang sulok ng kanyang labi, wari'y di makapaniwala sa 'kin. "Ako? Matatakot? H-hindi ako takot. Ayoko lang talaga sumali."
I chuckled when I saw his face flushed. I could tell he was scared no matter how hard he tried to deny it. I've known him for almost ten years, so I can easily read his mind.
"You must step out of your comfort zone, Gellian. Believe me if I say that you have all the qualities of Mr. Intrams." I stated the fact.
He wiggled his brows to tease me. "Talaga? Then, tell me all the good qualities that I have to make me believe you..."
I held my chin and fully surveyed his face, down to his feet. "Well... you're smart, good looking, and you are also tall like Aaron—"
"Stop!" Gellian put his index finger to my lips to cut me off. "Aaron, na naman? Please, Zein, don't compare me to him. Ayokong naririnig yung pangalan niya kapag magkausap tayo," He pleaded before he retracted his hand from me.
"Nagseselos ka ba kay Aaron?" I casually asked, almost a whisper.
Gellian's lips parted in shock. "K-kanino mo naman nalaman 'yan?"
"Sabi ng mga friends ko..."
He tsked. "Bakit naman ako magseselos dun? Ako naman yung mas... mahalaga sa 'yo di 'ba?"
His face looked worried, which made me chuckle in my mind. I'm not sure where he's getting those thoughts, but it's making him possessive for some reason. My heart can't take seeing him doubting his worth to me.
Hindi ako nakasagot ng ilang minuto, dahilan para tumalikod siya at lumakad palayo. I ran as fast as I could to follow him when I noticed that he was now sulking. I gave him a tight hug from behind when I finally reached him, hoping it would subdue his anger.
"You're more important in my heart than anyone else, Gellian." I mumbled.
He held my hands that were snaked around his waist. "I like you," He uttered it in a very soft voice.
"Ano?" Because of the loud noises around us, I wasn't able to hear him.
Bumuntong hininga siya. "Oo na, pumapayag na ako, pero sa isang kondisyon..."
I excitedly squealed. "Talaga?! Sige, anong kondisyon?"
Nakabusangot ang aking mukha habang kinakabit nila Levi ang belo sa buhok ko. Sinasabi ko na nga ba't hindi magiging maganda ang kondisyon ni Gellian dahil gusto niya kaming ikasal sa marriage booth. He really likes to tease me a lot.
"OMG! Ang ganda mo, Zein!" Ezra bluffed after he did my make-up.
Kyle gasped while unzipping the gown at my back. "I really hope Gellian won't lose his sanity."
Pinagmamasdan ko ang aking sarili sa vanity mirror nung matapos nila akong ayusan. I'm wearing a fancy bride summer dress with a floral crown veil on my head. Mommy would probably burst out laughing if she saw me like this.
My eyes twinkled upon seeing Gellian wearing a white silk tuxedo when I went out of the small tent. He bit his lower lip as he surveyed me as a whole. Kaagad akong napakapit sa kanyang balikat nung matapilok ako sa taas ng heels na pinasuot sa akin nila Kyle.
He slowly wrapped his arms around my waist, making me blush from shyness. "You're making it hard for me to unlove—"
The operator of the wedding booth called our attention, causing Gellian to pause on what he was saying. "Next, we have Gellian Zamora and Zein Garcia!"
Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko at inalalayan palapit sa wedding booth. Napairap ako nung makita sila Levi na umaktong kinikilig sa amin ni Gellian. Bakas rin ang pagkabigla sa mukha ng ilang estudyante na wari mo'y nagseselos ang mga tingin.
I was holding a "HAPPY TOGETHER!" flash card while Gellian picked the "HE'S MINE." prop. Gellian rested his chin on my left shoulder, leaning against my back as the operator who was assigned to take pictures started to count.
The operator cleared his throat. "One, two, three, happy marriage!"
Pakiramdam ko'y tumigil ang aking mundo nung maramdaman kong dumampi ang labi ni Gellian sa aking pisngi. My lips parted in shock when the camera flashed on our faces. I would probably look like I had seen a ghost in that picture.
"Waaaaaaaaaa!!!" sigaw nila Kyle at Ezra habang naghahampasan. Si Levi naman ay patuloy sa pagkuha ng litrato habang mapang-asar ang kanyang ngisi.
I just shook my head, couldn't contain their reaction. Niyaya rin nila Gabriel, Leonard at Roque ang mga kaibigan ko sa wedding booth, dahilan para ako naman ang kiligin sa kanila.
"Subukan mong humalik kagaya ni Gellian, uupakan talaga kita!" pagbabanta ni Kyle kay Gabriel bago sila kuhanan ng litrato.
Gab pursed his lips. "Ang daming gustong humalik sa 'kin, tapos ikaw ayaw mo?"
Levi intruded. "Gab, wag mong subukan halikan yung kaibigan ko, kung ayaw mong 'yon na rin ang huli mong halik."
Roque snuck a kiss on Levi's cheeks. "Ako, Levi, okay lang na ikaw yung huli kong kiss." He blurted out before he ran to not let Levi catch him.
"Ako, Ezra, 'di mo ba ako iki-kiss?" Leonard bent down and pouted his lips in front of Ezra.
Ezra took off the veil on his head and used it to clip the lips of Leonard, making him groan in pain. "My lips cost a million, so better save first, Mr. Delos Santos."
Sumali kami sa iba't-ibang palaro ng bawat organization kaya't pakiramdam ko'y pagod na ako nung sumapit ang hapon. Kasalukuyan akong naghihintay kay Gellian na nasa loob ng cubicle habang nagpapalit siya ng damit. It's a good thing that Aaron and Gellian had the same height and body figure, so the clothes should fit them both. I was starting to lose my patience when Gellian opened the door of the cubicle.
"Z-zein, nasira yung zipper ng pantalon," He uttered while covering his crotch without nothing on top.
"Let me check." I sighed before I got on my knees to check it. I removed his hands and tried to zip it up, but it was still unsuccessful.
I turned my face up when I heard him sigh. His face looks flushed and he's panting heavily while looking at my hands on his pants. Gellian held a tight grip on my shoulder and guided me inside of the cubicle with him before the boy students made an entrance into the restroom.
He pursed my lips, asking me to be quiet. Gellian was too close to me to the point that I could even hear his heart beat, smell his mint scent, and see every little detail of his charming face. He's looking intently into my eyes while his hands are on my hips, pulling me closer to him.
I gave him a smile before travelled my hands on the zipper of his pants to stop the awkward sensation. Napaawang ang aking labi nung maramdamang may kung anong matigas akong nakapa sa kanyang pantalon. Akmang itutuon ko doon ang aking tingin nung magsalita si Gellian.
"Z-zein, I think the... students are gone." He said in his deep voice.
Kinakabahan akong tumango. "Y-yeah, I think we have to go, Gellian. T-the competition should be about to start by now."
Nauna na ako kay Gellian pumunta sa auditorium. Hindi nakakagulat na halos puno na ang lahat ng upuan dahil nandito ang lahat ng estudyante. Kumaway sa direksyon ko si Kyle kaya nakangiti akong lumapit sa kanila.
"Baby Zein, where's Gellian?" asar ni Levi sa akin habang tutok ang mata sa lens ng camera.
I sat in the front seat they had reserved for me. "He's coming in a bit. Is it starting already?"
"Not yet, baby." rinig kong ani ng lalaki na nasa likod ng upuan ko.
Naparolyo ako ng mata nung makita si Aaron. Mukhang malala nga ang naging injury niya dahil may benda ang kanyang kaliwang paa. Katabi niya syempre ang tatlong asungot na sila Gabriel, Leonard at Roque na may hawak na banner para kay Gellian.
They are one of the cutest squads on the whole campus. I wonder if my friends would also like the idea if I named our squad the Rainbow Squad.
