I was in my office doing some paperwork, like editing some of the news articles and making sure everything was perfect.
When suddenly, someone knocked on my door. I didn't bother to tell her to come in because I think it's probably Yeji.
However, when the door opens widely, it's the CEO of Noh Enterprises. She is wearing a formal outfit, a skirt and checkered coat.
"Oh, good afternoon, Ms. Noze." I stood up from my seat and bowed to her.
"Good afternoon as well, Ms. Lisa." She took a look around in my office and motioned to me if she could sit, which made me nod.
"How can I help you? I didn't expect to receive a sudden visit from you." I said as I sat back in my swivel chair.
"I had a quick chat with Mr. Park, and I thought since I was already here, I planned to say hi to the team that made me sign the contract." She answered with a smile plastered on her face.
"Ahh, that explains why people outside my office are noisy in the company's group chat." She chuckled.
"I didn't know that my sudden appearance would cause a little bit of show in this company."
"Well, you are quite like a Korean artist. Your name spread throughout the whole world for being the youngest billionaire. "
"I'm no longer the youngest billionaire if your fiancee takes over Kim's company."
"I think you still are since you are younger than her for a month."
Suddenly, someone cleared her throat and said, "It's because I will be the youngest trillionaire."
I looked where the voice was from to see Nini, leaning in the door frame with her arms crossed.
She waved her hand at me, then looked at Noze.
"Noh Jihye or Noze, right?" Nini confirmed, and Noze nodded. "Jennie Ruby Jane Kim, the fiancee of Lalisa Pranpriya Manoban and the future mother of her three kids."
Jennie reached out a hand for Noze to shake, which the latter accepted. They did a quick handshake before Nini pulled away her hand.
She walked towards me and stood beside me.
"May I ask why one of the busiest people in the world is here visiting a stranger?" Nini calmly asked Noze.
"I'm not that busy and Lisa is no longer a stranger to me." She replied and flashed me a smile.
"Lots of people have been trying to chase you to have an interview and meeting with you, but you have all refused, except if that person who wants to meet you is well-known and you will get a lot of benefits from it. I heard from a great source of mine, which is your secretary, Emma, that you have a lot of meetings today, but you canceled them to have a chitchat with my Uncle Park which is clearly an excuse to see my fiancee." Nini put her purse and a paperbag on my table, and she wrapped her left arm around my shoulders.
"I didn't know you had a lot of connections to know such things about me." Noze said amusedly.
"Well, when it comes to Lisa, who is my fiancee, I'm doing everything, whatever it takes. I'm doing lots of investigations into those people she is meeting with because I'm protecting what is mine. Let me tell you this straight to the point: I don't like your intentions towards my fiancee and I already added you to the list of people I hate the most." I looked up at Nini to see her looking so calm.
"I'm not here to break anyone's relationship." Noze defended herself.
"Who said you can break our relationship?" Nini asked with one raised eyebrow.
"I'm here to make friends with her and I don't have any intentions of asking for more since she already has someone she will live the rest of her life with. I'm not the type of woman who will break or ruin someone's relationship."
"Good to hear that you already gave up, but I'm sorry but you can't be friends with my fiance because you have a crush on her and it will grow if you two become closer. So I came up with the conclusion that you two should never be friends and just stay as strangers, so no one will get hurt. "
"I don't want to sound rude, but why are you deciding for you, Lisa? I think she can decide for herself. "
"It's because she is literally and figuratively mine. Her decision and mine are for the both of us and it's for the best in our relationship. I'm only protecting our relationship and what's mine."
"You are a very possessive and territorial woman, Ms. Kim."
"I am, especially when it comes to my fiancee, that everyone wants to be with, which I find annoying. Lili keeps attracting lots of people by simply breathing, so I'm being more possessive and territorial. "
Noze stood up from her seat and smiled at Jennie.
"It's nice to meet someone like you. I hope we can be friends instead." Noze offered.
"Sure, why not, as long as you promise to never speak to my fiancee? If she greets you, just nod or smile at her; that's it." Nini accepted the offer, and she reciprocated Noze's smile.
"I'm fine with it, as long as you remove my name from your list of most hated people in the world."
"Nah, I will just going to dropped your rank. From twenty-two to sixty-seven. "
"Much better." Noze glanced at me. I'll get going now. "Thank you for accepting my offer to be friends with me, Ms. Kim."
"You too, Ms. Noh."
Noze left my office, leaving peacefully.
Nini pulled my chair a bit far from my table and sat on my lap. She opened the paperbag and it was a bento box.
"I should always visit you in your office to make sure no one will going to try hitting on you.." She said as she opened the bento box.
"I thought you were busy with school." I rested my chin on her shoulder.
"I lied. I was actually busy cooking lunch for you because I needed to practice my cooking skills more for you and for our future babies." She admitted it, which made me smile.
"You are a great wife, Nini." I kissed her cheek.
"You too, if you update me with your whereabouts and who you are with."
"I will."
We started eating our lunch and she was feeding me because she wanted to. I was just hugging her waist and letting her feed me.
All of a sudden, someone banged on my door, causing it to open widely and make a strong thud.
"Limario! Mi amigo! " She was wearing a beach polo, and there was a Hawaii flower necklace around her neck.
We ignored her and continued eating, which made her whine.
"Are you not going to ask me where I'm going? Why am I here?" She asked, and we shook our heads. "Fine! I'm going to Hawaii with my baby chimpunk and I'm planning to propose to her. "
"Good for you then, congratulations on your engagement." Nini and I said it at the same time.
"Gosh! What a supportive friend I have. " We burst out laughing as she said it sarcastically.
I opened a drawer under my table and got the box inside of it.
"Catch!" I threw the box at Jisoo and she managed to catch it. "I prepared that for you and Rosie's anniversary. I hope you will love and enjoy it. "
She opened the box and her jaw dropped.
"No way!" She said, shocked.
"Yes way!" I replied.
Nini looked at me in confusion, as if asking me what was inside.
"What the fuck, Limario?! Where did you get this shit? "
"I searched online and I saw that. Long, hard and big, right? "
"Seriously?! A freaking ten-inch strap-on! What the hell did you take me for? " She threw a cushion in our direction, but Nini caught it and threw it back to her.
"What? It's more fun and pleasurable." I said innocently.
"Fuck you, Limario!" She shouted as she stomped her feet, walking out to my office.
"I know you love it!" I shouted.
"A little bit!" She shouted back and left.
Nini and I burst out laughing because of Jisoo's priceless reaction.
"I can't believe you will give her that." Nini said as she wiped her non-existing tears.
"I can't think of any other gift other than that. I hope they will use it. " I replied.
"She is going to get revenge on you on our wedding day."
"I know, but you are here to protect me from her."
"You really love it that I'm protecting you from everything and everyone." I nodded and she tapped my cheeks.
"I love everything you do for me."
