A dream surfaced. We were 16 when we shared our first kiss. Right under this thriving cherry tree.
The kiss was gentle yet passionate, Sasuke entangled his fingers within the forest of my golden locks.
The desperation for air forced us apart as we gasped.
The smooth bark ran down my back as I slid down. The flowers have been born, without imperfections, not a single mar blemishing them. From the core of the flowers was a shade of rich pink, slowly cascading into pure white.
I rested my head on his shoulder.
"You know Sasuke... Are we a thing now?"
The Uchiha stared at me incredulously, disbelieving what I was asking.
"Idiot.", Sasuke huffed, frustration forced his brows to clench down into a furrow. "I wouldn't have kissed you if we weren't."
I grinned till my eyes crinkled into identical crescents, splotches of red decorating my whiskered cheeks.
"I like you. A lot. Believe it."
Sasuke clicked his tongue, failing to hide the joyful smile spread across his lips with a crooked frown, "I know. I like you too, Naruto."
