"So tell me what do you want to go as? Captain marvel? Black widow? Wonder Woman? Batwoman? Tell me, I will get Anu aunty to design your dress" said Ashwin excitement overflowing in his voice.
It was a simple enactment day at school where the kids were asked to dress up like a super hero and talk about how they inspired them and Ashwin was acting like they were going for an audition in front of Russo brothers.
Anushya, his personal stylist looked at him amused so did his kids.
"No need appa we have decided what we are going to dress up as" nethra said calmly
"Let me guess, captain marvel and scarlet witch, correct ah?" Ashwin asked with real enthusiasm
"He he he" both of them giggled
"You will know tomorrow" Mithra replied in a proud tone making Ashwin fake a sulking face
"Well it better be good" he warned them in a playful tone and turned his attention towards Anu for discussing about his next movie costumes.
"Relax Ashwineyy, they will be fine, idhu saadha stage show dhaane adhukku en ivalo tension ah irukka?" Sivaangi said looking at Ashwin who was tensed
"Illa Sivaangi Ma, now I fully understand why my father became so upset at me when I said no to family business, even though I know in my heart that I will encourage them in any field they want to try, the actor/entertainer in me is peeping out in times like this to see whether they carry my genes" Ashwin said with little agitation
"Ha ha!! Cute Ashwineyy Nee, adhellaam un ponnunga la pinni pedal eduthuduvaanga, but they were completely secretive about this program so even I am curious as to what they might have done" Sivaangi replied
"Next on stage Nethra Ashwinkumar" the Teacher announced
"Yay Nithu ma, come on" Ashwin got up and clapped his hands encouraging her while all the other parents and teacher looked at him weird
"What? En ponnu" he replied proudly at the spectators and sat down for her to come on stage
The light slowly came on stage and Nethra was there dressed in simple black jeans and yellow full hand t shirt with a base ball cap
"Iva enna Captain marvels poda sonna Carol Danvers ah vandhirkka?" Ashwin looked at her confused
"Hi all, I am Nethra Ashwinkumar, today I am dressed up like my super hero, my Appa, my Ashwineyy" Nethra started her speech stunning Ashwin while the crowd went awe
"Nice Nethra, so what in your father inspired you the most? " the Teacher encouraged her to speak while she stumbled a little seeing the crowd reaction
"He has taught me to be kind, gentle and never judge people" she replied
"Wow, that's nice, what else?" The teacher asked
"he has taught me never to discriminate anyone based on their societal status or religion, more than all fantasy super heroes he has shown me how to be a human, so I am very much inspired by him" she added while Ashwin sat there tears rolling down his eyes
"Woah!! That is one inspiring dad you have there, do you want to say something to him?" The teacher asked her
"I love you so much Ashwineyy more than captain marvel and batwoman" she screamed in the mike while blowing a flying kiss towards Ashwin's direction.
The crowd broke into cheers and applause while Ashwin stood up overwhelmed, he has received several awards before, but this one felt wholesome, it gave him the happiness none of his awards gave him.
Sivaangi got up and hugged him with so much love and satisfaction, she felt completely happy, the guilt that was overbearing on her for keeping Ashwin away from kids for all those years slowly started disappearing.
"Beautiful Nethra, thank you so much, shall we call your sister next, I want to see what ace she has up her sleeves" the teacher asked patting Nethra on her back.
"Okay" Nethra said with a shy smile and started walking back.
"That was cute and adorable, to make it even more adorable let us call upon stage her twin sister "Mithra Ashwinkumar" the Teacher announced
Mithra came on stage and this time the moment her parents saw her they knew who she was.
"Paaren rendum plan panni pannirkaanga" Ashwin said amused
"Inikku nammala feel panna vekkanumnu decide pannitaanga" sivaangi replied looking at Mithra who was dressed up in a chiffon shirt and crop top, imitating Sivaangi perfectly.
"Hi all, I am Mithra Ashwin Kumar, Nethra is my sister he he" she giggled
"So Mithra who are you dressed up as today" the teacher asked
"Oh can't you guess? If Nethra Is Ashwineyy then I am obviously Sivaangi Ma" Mithra replied proudly
"So your amma is your super hero?" the teacher asked amused
"Yeah she is, Ashwineyy too, I too love you Ashwineyy" she screamed at the crowd making every one break into chuckles
"So are you going to tell us how your mom inspired you as a super hero?" The teacher asked
"My mother taught me how to be strong, brave and face situations boldly, more than anything my mother taught me to be myself" she replied
"Wow, do you want to say something to your mother?" The teacher asked
"Ma'am, come here" she whispered making "come" action in her kutty hands requesting the teacher to bend down
She whispered something in teacher's ears, the teacher looked at her astonished and then nodded her head as okay
Nethra who had left the stage, came and joined Mithra. Both of them closed their eyes for a second and started singing "the unstoppable by SIA"
When they went for the high pitch with "I put my armour on" the whole crowd broke into standing ovation, but nothing affected them, their concentration was on singing completely until the song was done.
"Sivaangi Ma, you are our unstoppable super hero, love you" Mithra screamed on the mike which not only moved Sivaangi but almost every single person surrounding the stage.
"Wow, that was soulful Mithra and Nethra, thank you so much, so Mithra tell me this, did your parents teach you to do this on stage today?"
"No, we planned everything with the help of Kicha thatha and Geetha paati, we told them our idea and they helped us and asked to keep it as a secret from amma and appa" Mithra replied sincerely
"Wow nice.. Mr, Ashwinkumar and Ms.Sivaangi, you both have two gems for kids, treasure them, veetla poi suththi pottukonga family ah" teacher said looking at both of them who were standing amidst the crowd beaming with pride.

You might have a question as to how two 4 year olds can plan something like this. Trust me, when it comes to twins, you can double the age, they will easily act as 8 year old combining both their brain power and this chapter is loosely based on real life incident..😜😜😜
Frankly, writing Nethra and Mithra part has always been the easiest for me as I base most of their convos on real time models that walk and run around my house..😜😜
