Monday- 2:36pm-Ahmira
I was sitting on my kitchen counter while Dave tried to convince me that it will be a good idea to have a funeral for my grandmother
"I'm sayin she would want that" he said sitting down at the island.
"If we have a funeral it's going to be empty" I said shaking my head. We didn't have any family left, I was basically it. If you want to count dave too.
"Me, you, my mom, and your friends?" he said shrugging his shoulders. I sighed
"Dave I'm not spending thousands of dollars just to have a funeral with 6 people " I said looking at him.!he nodded
"I just want the best for ha" he said. I tilted my head to the side
"And you think I don't?" I said hopping off the counter
"You know I didn't mean it like that" he said. I looked at him for a moment while he picked up his phone.
"Look I gotta go Tiara having a moment" he said picking up his jacket.
"A moment?" I said confused drinking my water
"Yeah..she's a pregnant" he said smiling. My eyes widen
"Ohh congratulations" I said looking up at him. He smiled
"Appreciate it, just let me know what you decide to do" he said walking out the door. I nodded while he walked out.
I sighed and stood there and played with my fingers. I checked my phone calendar and I still haven't came in my period yet. I called Kenzie and she answered
"Hellooo my pretty bitch" she sung through the phone. I laughed
"Hey my pretty bad bitch" I said. She laughed and grew silent
"You okay?" She asked. I sighed
"Um yeah" I said. She sucked her teeth
"Who I gotta fuck up?" She said. I chuckled
"Um you know tiara pregnant" I said. She gasped
"Really, omg. That's so nice" she said. I bit done on my lip as it quivered
"Ohhhh Mira" she said lowly. A year dropped down and I wiped it quickly
"Kenzie I'm scared" I cried.
"Babes have you took a test yet" she said.
"No but I haven't had signs yet. When I first got pregnant i always had morning sickness and I could smell a mile away." I said
"But maybe this time is different" she said. I took a deep breathe and nodded my head
"Maybe so" I said lowly.
"Hey we should go to a real hospital. You went to that shitty clinic that probably doesn't know what they're doing" she said. I nodded as if she could see me
"Yeah that'll be fine" I said wiping my face.
"Okay I'll be there in a second. Get ready. I love you Mira" she said. I smiled weakly
"I love you ken ken" I said as she hung up the phone.
I poured me some apple juice and went upstairs. I went to my medicine cabinet and grabbed my pills and took them. I threw my head into a bun and went into my closet.
I put on some jogging pants and a hoodie with some slides. Not feeling yo get dressed today. I grabbed my shades knowing I had bags under my eyes from lack of sleep. plus, I couldn't let anyone know it was me. I went downstairs and heard Kenzie beeping her horn
I walked out or the car and hopped In. I felt look over at me a couple of times but she didn't say anything. She knew this whole topic was sensitive for me. We pulled up to the hospital and got out.
Kenzie went to the vending machine as I walked up and checked in.
"What can I help with you today" the lady asked.
"Um is Doctor Destiny available at the moment" I asked. She typed in her computer and looked back up at me
"No she's not, can I take a message" she said. I sighed
"It's urgent" I said. She nodded and paged her. I went to to the chair and sat down. I pulled out a granola bar as Kenzie sat next me to a chocolate honey bun
"Give it" I said holding out my hand. She held it close to her
"No I want it" she said.
"Kenzie" I warned her. She sighed
"Fine" she said slapping the honey bun in my hand. I handed her my granola bar as I opened the honey bun and ate it.
"Hey" destiny said. We both stood up.
"Hey" i said.
"You okay? She said it was urgent" she said.
"Um I need to see if I can reproduce" I said lowly. She nodded.
"Okay follow me" she said walking away.
Me and Kenzie walked behind her as she ate the granola bar. We were walking to a room when I heard a baby cry. My heart melted
"Okay hop up here" she said. I sat on the bed as Kenzie sat in the chair in the corner
"Okay so the main thing that the female body does when they can't reproduce is irregular periods and a pain during sex. Do you have either one of those?" She said. I nodded
"Um My periods are irregular" i said. She nodded
"Okay do you think you are pregnant now" she said
"No. Well, I don't know. The last time I had sec we were planning to have a kid" I said
"Okay how long ago was that" she said. I thought for a moment
"Maybe a couple of weeks ago" I said. She nodded
"It might be hard to tell right now but I can take blood and do some work. It'll only take a second" she said as she gathered her Material.
She took some blood from my arm and left out the room. I played in my phone and felt eyes on me. I looked at Kenzie and she was looking up at me
"What" I said chuckling. She smiled
"Nothing I just really love you" she said. I smiled
"Kenzie you're very mushy lately" I said chuckling. She looked down
"Sorry it's the..pregnancy" she said looking up at me. I tilted my head to the side and was about to say something but destiny came back in
"Okay" she said reading the papers. I sat there and looked at her rubbing my palms together, oh god.
"Im sorry Ahmira but you're not pregnant" she said. I nodded trying holding my tears in. I felt Kenzie rub my leg.
"Okay..that's fine. I can still have kids right" I said. She looked up at me and sat down in her stool
"Um it says that your hormones are low. But it can be a possibility that your spouse is the problem also" she said. I bit down on my lip
"Maybe you should call him and tell him to come up here so we can test him too" she said. I looked down at Kenzie and she nodded. I took a deep breaths and pulled out my phone
"yo" he said. I wiped my face and sighed
"Yo Ahmira you alright?" He said. I cleared my throat
"Um are you busy" I said.
"Naw wassup?" he said. I looked up and destiny half smiled
"Can you come to the hospital" I said
"Why you straight?" He asked as I heard rustling in the background
"Um no. I just—" I cried
"Ight Ight im on my way ma" he said hanging up. I looked up and they were smiling at me.
"It's going to okay mira" Kenzie said holding my hand. I nodded
5:35pm-August-
I walked downstairs and hopped in my car and drove to the hospital. When Mira called me and said she was at the hospital my heart dropped. She probably wanted to tell me she was pregnant. My ass was excited, I always wanted a kid. A boy to be exact.
I hopped out the car and walked in the hospital. I went to the room number Mira texted me and walked in to she her in the table and Kenzie in the corner while destiny was sitting in front of her
"Hey Baybah" I said standing next to her and kissed her forehead. She moved her head and I sighed. She still stubborn
"Um august are you willing to get tested to see if you can have kids" destiny said. I scrunched my face
"What?" I said looking around the room
"Ahmira isn't pregnant. She wants to get pregnant but she isn't fertile. But destiny wants to test you to see if you can have kids also" Kenzie said. I nodded and held Mira hand
"If a female isn't fertile, their mate makes up for that. Your count can be low plus she isn't fertile can equal no babies. If you are high and she isn't fertile kids. Get it?" Destiny said. We nodded
"I'll take the test" I said. She nodded
"Follow me" she said getting up.
"I'll be back mira" I said looking down at her. She nodded her head and I followed destiny. We walked to this room with a tv and magazines.
"Uh what we doing?" I said looking around.
"You have to ejaculate in this" she said handing me a cup. I scrunched my face
"How am I suppose to do that?" I said. She laughed
"That's what these magazines are for and that tv" he said. I shook my head
"Hell naw bring Mira in hea and you'll get all the nut you need" I said seriously. She laughed
"You cant have sex in the hospital. Just imagine her or something" she said walking out. I looked done at the cup and the chair. I shook my head and pulled out my phone
I went to the pictures Ahmira sent me while I was on tour and set my phone up. I did what I had to to do and opened the door.
"Here" I said handing her the cup. She put on a glove and took it from me.
"Okay you can go back to the room. I'll be in there shortly" she said. I nodded and walked back to the room. When I walked in they were talking but she stopped.
I walked in and sat in the chair in the corner. I got on my phone and Tiara was blowing my shit up.
"Go take it" Ahmira said staring off into space. I nodded and walked outside and answered the phone
"Wassup" I said
"Answer the phone sometimes" tiara said. I sighed and wiped my face.
"Bad timing" I said looking at destiny walk up
"No your the bad timing. The shade room is having a ball right now and it's not pretty" tiara said my face scrunched up
"What" I said as destiny walked into the room.
"August Draya is claiming she's pregnant" tiara staid. My heart dropped
"August" tiara said.
"Look I gotta call you back" I said
"Aug—-" she said as I hung up. I walked back into the room and stood next to Ahmira.
"Um I have good news and bad news" destiny said.
"What is it" Ahmira said sitting up
"Bad news is august sperm count is low so it's harder to get your pregnant" she said.
I seen Kenzie stand up and wrap her arm around Mira as she cried. I was stuck I didn't know what to do.
"Good news is there are pills you can take if you want to still get pregnant " she said. I nodded and looked down at Mira.
"So I can get the pills right now" Mira asked perking up. Destiny smiled and pulled them out of her pocket
"I though you'll never ask" she said handing them to her. Mira smiled weakly.
"Have a good day guys" destiny said walking out as we said our good byes.
"Oh I have to go. Chris is getting worried" Kenzie said hugging Mira.
"You okay? Do you need me to take you home?" She said. Mira was about to speak but I cut her off
"Nah I got her" I said helping her hop off the bed. Kenzie nodded as we walked to my car and drove off
I can see Mira smiling at the corner of my eye. I smiled but it dropped when I thought about Draya. How am I suppose to tell her that Draya is pregnant while I'm tryna get her pregnant. I pulled up to her house and I walked her to her door
"You wanna come in" she said. I nodded and we walked in.
She went to the bathroom as I sat on the couch. She came back out and straddled me
"I missed you" she said kissing my lips and neck. I sighed
"Mira" I started to say but she reached her hands in my pants and massaged me
"Yes " she said kissing my neck. She rubbed her hands up my shirt but I stopped her
"I gotta talk to you" I said looking at her.
"Why I took the pills and we're ready right?" She said smiling at me.
I looked at her as her smile dropped. She got off of me and sat next to me
"I wanna be honest with you" I said. She sighed
"What you don't want to have kids by me?" She said
"Nah Baybah its not that. I do want to have kids by you" I said. She turned to me
"Then what is it" she said looking in my eyes. I sighed and stood up so she wouldn't swing on me.
"Mira I think I got Draya pregnant " I said. She looked up at me and laughed
"This is a joke right" she said smiling. I just looked at her and she stopped and stood up
"You're joking? You got her pregnant?" She said walking up to me. I stepped back
"It wasn't intentional. Baybah—" I said but she put her finger up.
"You just don't wanna see me happy. Is that what it is? " she screamed.
"You know I want you happy" I said. She shook her head
"You don't. You knew I wanted to get pregnant but you went to get that bitch pregnant. Please leave" she said pointing towards the door
"I'm sorry Ahmira" I said.
"Leave!" She yelled. I looked at her cry as she pointed towards the door
" I don't want to see you anymore. You should've left me when're you found me" she cried. I shook my head
"You don't mean that" I said walking up to her
"I do. I mean it. You should've left me behind that building" she cried. "Please leave me alone, I don't love you anymore" she screamed throwing her promise ring at me. My heart shattered. I picked it up and looked at her
"I'll always love you mira" I said walking out the door. I got in my car and sat there.
"Fuck" I screamed while hitting the steering wheel.
I drove home thinking about all this shit. I fucked up one time and now she don't even love me no more
