Last time we are protagonists they reach Camphrier Town after meeting Korrina and her Lucarios and now we see (Y/n) and Serena training their Pokémon but enough of that lets get on with the meat and potatoes
Still Narrator's p.o.v
(Y/n): alright Charmander! Use scratch!
Serena: Squirtle use tackle!
With each Pokémon listening to their trainers and charge at one another and once close enough Charmander goes for his scratch only for it not to do much, then Squirtle shoulder tackles Charmander
(Y/n): use ember!
Serena: bubble!
Charmander throws embers from his tail at Squirtle, as Squirtle fires bubbles from his mouth and when the moves meet, the ember is smeared and Squirtle attack continues forward leaving puffs of steam behind
(Y/n): quickly dodge!
Serena: keep using bubble!
Charmander dodges a barrage of bubbles from Squirtle by running side to side and doing flips and it keeps going until (Y/n) what she thinks is an opening
(Y/n): use ember!
The command gets issued but Charmander couldn't get the move off because of a bubble was close enough to force Charmander to protect he's tail from being extinguish causing him to get soaked. As Charmander gets the water out his eyes he gets tackled to the ground with Squirtle pinning him down
Serena: I got you now! Bite!
Listening to he's trainers command Squirtle bites down onto Charmander's cheek and making him scream out like he's dying which makes (Y/n) quickly retuning him to his ball
(Y//n): damn that was close… *grabs Skiddo's ball and throws it* go Skiddo!
Skiddo: Skiddo!!
(Y/n): now use vine whip!
Serena: use tackle!
Squirtle charges towards Skiddo only to slapped across the face by a vine with a sickening crack ringing out and knocking him out
Serena: *returns Squirtle* ok this is getting interesting! *grabs Braixen's ball and throws it* in you come Braixen!
Braixen: Brai!
Serena: ok Braixen, use Flame charge!
(Y/n): double edge!
With both them charge at each other with Braixen catching fire and Skiddo emitting a pale yellow and once they collide a small explosion happens making a small cloud of smoke. Once the smoke settles down and we see Skiddo on the ground unconscious and Braixen standing heavily damaged
Serena: yes! I did it!! I won!!!
(Y/n): I really need to stop getting myself into type disadvantage fights. Well done Serena
Serena: thanks but I probably would have lost if you didn't handicap yourself
(Y/n): maybe but you only have two Pokémon at the moment, so a 2 v 2 sounded fair
Serena: again thanks but I think someone needs to wake up Shauna
(Y/n): I'll do it
Serena: you sure?
(Y/n): I'm very much sure, plus see this as losers punishment
Serena: if you say so
(Y/n) gives Serena a quick thumbs up then walks over to the hotel that they were staying for the night and walk up to their room
(Y/n)'s p.o.v
I enter our room and I see Shauna still asleep and I couldn't help but just smile but all good things must come to an end
(Y/n): *shakes Shauna lightly* hey Shauna, it's time to wake up
Shauna: *sleepily* but Mooom I don't have school today
(Y/n): I know but you're traveling around the Kalos regein with your friends and they are going to leave you behind if you don't wake up now
Shauna: *sits up in a panic* I'M UP, I'm up!!
(Y/n): and good morning to you
Shauna: (Y/n)?! Wait don't tell me you lied so I could wake up?
(Y/n): yes indeedy
Shauna: your the worst!
(Y/n): you'll get use to it Shauna
Shauna: you better hope so
(Y/n): well come on Serena is waiting on us, so we can visit the castle that's here and you said you got in contact with the Lord of the land
Shauna: sure, just let me have a shower and get dressed and I'll meet you by the Pokémon centre
(Y/n): of course Shauna also Serena and I had breakfast and will get yours ready for you when you arrive
Shauna nods and smiles at me as I leave the room and head back towards where Serena is but not before I stop by the buffet and grab Shauna some breakfast
Serena: you took your time, so is Shauna awake now?
(Y/n): yeah she's awake and I went to grab her breakfast so thats why I took longer then I should have, also we need to heal our Pokémon incase we lock eyes with someone
Serena: sure let's do that since Squirtle is out of commission because of our battle
(Y/n): well Shauna wanted to meet us there anyways, what a win-win situation

After Shauna finished having breakfast, she showed us to the Shabboneau Castle because Shauna talked to it's owner about how they may know something about Mega Evolution and once inside we see a man standing in front of an empty cushioned case
Shauna: hey I'm here
Castle caretaker: *turns and faces the trio* ah you're here and theses two acquaintances of yours? Three visitors to Shabboneau Castle? I can't remember the last time we've been so busy! The Castle, chateau if you will, was a manor house of a noble family. It may be a little run down, but that's because there's history to this place. During that history, the owners of this castle gave away a lot of their stuff to everyone, so that why it fills so empty. The End.
Shauna: that's it?! Don't you have anything related to Mega Evolution?
Castle caretaker: *gives Shauna a puzzled look* that's it. What in the world is Mega Evolution?
Shauna: …
(Y/n): I filled scammed of information and I don't know why
Resident: *comes running into the room* Sir! It's back again.
Castle caretaker: is it that time of the year already? Well, there's nothing I can do about it that now… *faces the trio* I need to go to Route 7, but please take your time and have a look around.
With the owner and the employee leave the castle the felling of disappointment still lingers around me then Serena speaks up
Serena: I wonder what that was about?
Shauna: then why don't we go to Route 7 too?
(Y/n): well let's head off then and figure out what it is then
With the them nodding in agreement and we all leave the castle and head over to Route 7 and once we take quick walk we stop at a bridge where a Snorlax is sleeping
(Y/n): now I see why this is a worry
Castle caretaker: here we go again. It's sleeping so soundly, not even the end of the world wouldn't wake it up.
Resident: look! It's particularly a mountain, right? It's blocking the road completely. Come on, sir. Use the Poké Flute! Oh wait… do you even have it anymore?
Castle caretaker: nope. I handed it over.
(Y/n): why would you hand over such a valuable item? Unless…
Resident: or you say it was taken… by the owner of the palace.
(Y/n): and there it is
Shauna: what? Huh? What's a Poké Flute?
Castle caretaker: basically, the Poké Flute is what we need to wake up Snorlax. But the flute is currently at Parfum Palace.
Shauna: oh, that's it? All we need to do is go get it, then!
Serena: I have a feeling it's not that easy
Shauna: well we don't know unless we try, now come on let's go! Since it's just past Route 6! And maybe we might be able to learn about Mega Evolution while we're there!
(Y/n): true there might be some info about Mega Evolution but remember to stay focused on why we're there to begin with
Shauna: *gives (Y/n) a silly solute* yes ma'am
I roll my eyes as we all head over Route 6 and once we start walking down the Route we see trees forming an archway along the pathway and while we walk Serena and I were challenged by two tourist lady and jumped by two Venipede
(Y/n): so this is Parfum Palace huh?
Shauna: sure looks like it from the brochure I saw
(Y/n): well let's head on in then
Serena: how about you and Shauna head in
(Y/n): reason why?
Serena: I saw a Pokémon I want to add to my team on Route 6, plus if there is any information about Mega Evolution you can always tell me
(Y/n): well if you say so, well let's keep moving Shauna
Shauna: right behind you!
Narrator's p.o.v
With the group now short a member for a while (Y/n) and Shauna walk up to the gate only to be stopped by the gatekeeper
Gatekeeper: *walks in front of the two* the entrance fee will be ₽1,000 per person
Shauna: YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING! IT COST MONEY TO GO INSIDE?!
(Y/n): *covers her left ear in pain* ow ow ow ow! Shauna there was no need to yell!
Shauna: sorry (Y/n)
Gatekeeper: you see, the owner of the palace follows the school of thought that you can never have too much money
(Y/n): *sighs* this is why the rich get richer
Shauna: fine here's your entrance fee: ₽1,000! *Hands over the money to the gatekeeper*
Gatekeeper: the proceeds from the entrance fee help pay for repairing the restoring the palace, if you wondering where all of this money goes
(Y/n): here you go then *hands over her fee*
The gatekeeper smiles at the two of them and opens the gate allowing them access to the palace and immediately Shauna dashes onto the property leaving (Y/n) in her dust
(Y/n): how inpatient, oh well *walks towards the palace and walks inside*
Once inside (Y/n) sees a well dressed man walking in circles in the foyer and talking to himself about something
Palace owner: where is it?! Where could it be?! My Furfrou! My beloved little Furfrou has disappeared!
(Y/n): man that sucks
Shauna: why don't we help look! I mean, if my…
(Y/n): I get it Shauna, let's help the poor man *walks up the palace owner* hey
Palace owner: yes? How may I help you?
(Y/n): my friend and I overheard that your Pokémon is missing and we want to help
Palace owner: really? *(Y/n) nods* oh thank you! Now if you need any assistance ask any of my Butlers or Maids around the palace
And with that both (Y/n) and Shauna walk out of the foyer and into a hallway and the first Butler they saw they asked him if he has seen the Furfrou
Butler: I'm sorry girls but I haven't seen the Master's Furfrou since this morning, but maybe they are in the palace vast courtyard since they love to take walks out there every morning
(Y/n): thanks for the info
Shauna: well what are we waiting for let's find that Furfrou!
With (Y/n) nodding in agreement they both walk outside and gaze upon the courtyard and marvel at it's beauty
Shauna: wow! It's so huge!
(Y/n): hold off on saying anything. Well let's start looking then
As both of them head down into the courtyard and (Y/n) found many items that was left laying around the place as well as finding TM01 Hone Claws
Shauna: HEY (Y/n) I FOUND THE FURFROU!!!
(Y/n): well done Shauna
Once gets to where Shauna is chasing the Furfrou and was quite close to catching it but ultimately she tripped on a small rock and landed in (Y/n)'s arms
(Y/n): you good Shauna?
Shauna: *stands up* yeah, it's just faster than expected
(Y/n): there must be a way to get it stop
Shauna: I saw a dead end near the top of the hedge maze
(Y/n): ok then you go left and I'll go right
With a quick nod of agreement they take their respective path and manage to trap Furfrou and return it to their trainer
Palace owner: oh thank you so much for finding my Furfrou back
(Y/n): it's no problem
Palace owner: as for my thanks I shall put on a firework display in honour of you two *faces his Furfrou* my Pokémon and I are reunited! Our bond has been proven! So if you two please make your way up the balcony on the second floor, we can get this show on the road! *Leaves the hedges with his Furfrou*
Shauna: maybe Furfrou would've been better off if we didn't found it…
(Y/n): eh who knows
Shauna: well let's go watch some fireworks!
(Y/n) giggles at Shauna's enthusiasm as they made their way back into the palace and up to the second floor and onto the balcony and after waiting for a short bit the fireworks launch into the air and explode in a colourful explosions
Shauna: so, this is the first time I've seen fireworks with someone that isn't a part of my family *(Y/n) hums in agreement as she leans on the railing* but I'll never forget this moment because I watched them with you, (Y/n)
(Y/n): same here Shauna, same here
With the two them enjoying the rest fireworks in silence but all good things must to an end as the last firework shoots into the sky and the colours look like a Furfrou's head
Shauna: wow! That. Was. AMAZING! I never ever want to forget this, so I'll keep this memory in an album in my heart!
Then the palace owner walks up to the two with a butler following close behind hold a small chest of sorts
Palace owner: so did you two enjoy the fireworks?
(Y/n): *looks at the palace owner* why yes we did
Palace owner: splendid! Now I have something for the to of you *turns around and grabs something from the wooden container and faces the two again* this is the Poké Flute, it was Shabboneau Castle's treasure but I took it as payment for a loan. A rich guy like me and a common person like that just don't get along, also I overheard from the visitors that there is a Snorlax blocking Route 7. So please take this to the caretaker of Shabboneau Castle so the the Snorlax can wake up *hands (Y/n) the flute*
(Y/n): *takes the flute and puts it away* thank you for allowing us to use the Poké Flute
Palace owner: it's my pleasure, now off you go
Before the two them head off the Butler gives (Y/n) the TM for protect then head outside the palace and see Serena waiting for them
Serena: so did you guys get the flute?
(Y/n): sure did
Shauna: ahh! I forgot something that is very important
Serena: what was it Shauna?
Shauna: we forgot to ask about Mega Evolution!!
(Y/n): maybe we can come back another time because as of right now we need to get that Snorlax out of the road
Serena: of course, now let's go!
<Time skip 10 mins brought to you by Chibi (Y/n) getting lost in the very tall grass and grabbing a leaf from a tree>
With the trio now back with the caretaker and the Snorlax and hands the flute over to the caretaker
Castle caretaker: thanks
Shauna: well, you're the only who can play it, right?
Castle caretaker: Snorlax can be grumpy when it wakes up--it might attack. I'll play the flute right now, but are you ready to stop it?
Serena: yes we are!
Castle caretaker: *smiles to himself as he looks at the flute* feels nice to have this flute in my hands again. Ok, I guess I'll start playing
With that said (Y/n) backs away from the Snorlax as Serena and Shauna ready their Pokéballs then Snorlax's eyes shoot open as a faint red shine can be seen but before anyone did anything another tune played out, a tune only a few handful of people know, the tune that calms The Lord of Nightmares and remind him of his garden and the person playing it is (Y/n) with only a leaf to her mouth and Snorlax relaxed to listen to the melody, then walks towards it and laying on the side of the road and back to sleep
(Y/n): *moves the leaf away from her mouth* there all done
Serena: um (Y/n) what was that?
(Y/n): it was nothing special
Shauna: nothing special!! Lies, you're telling lies!
(Y/n): don't worry Shauna I'll tell you later, ok
Shauna: fine
Furfrou: Furfrou!
Palace owner: *walks towards the group* the only thing I did that flute is put it on display. But you've been playing since you were little and the tone is lovely. It seemed like my Furfrou also likes the sound of that flute as well as the young lass' melody
Castle caretaker: uh… yeah… I guess so huh
Palace owner: but still it sounded a bit rusty unlike when you were young. So I decided to let you take care of the flute, so you can refine that skill of yours
The caretaker smiled at the palace owner as they walk back to their respective path and properties leaving the trio behind
Shauna: all's well that ends well. Now I wonder what lies over yonder
(Y/n): *walks up to the sign* well the first stop would be the daycare
Serena: and another fancy looking building past that
Shauna: well let's go then!
As the trio walked past the daycare (Y/n) notices Trevor and Tierno a head of them
(Y/n): hey Trevor! Tierno!
Tierno: *faces where the trio are* oh, hey, (N/n)!
Serena: so what are you guys doing out here and how did two get past the Snorlax?
Trevor: Tierno wanted to find some Pokémon for his team, then we visited the daycare then went back and looked for more Pokémon, then after a while we need to head back to the Pokécentre but the road was blocked the Snorlax
Shauna: that makes sense, that also means you hear the Poké Flute and (Y/n)'s melody then
Tierno: yeah we heard them and your saying that (Y/n) played that soothing melody?
(Y/n): yes that was me Tierno and it's called Oracion
Tierno: I never heard anything like it before
(Y/n): that's because only few handful of people know how to play the song and they all live in the Sinnoh Region
Tierno: aw man that sucks but that just means I have to make my own beat!
Shauna: now that everyone is caught up let's head over the next city
Everyone nods in agreement as they all walked along the path battling 3 painters that Serena and (Y/n) fought as Shauna and Tierno went Pokémon hunting then (Y/n), Serena and Trevor stopped in front of the fancy building Serena mentioned earlier
Trevor: (Y/n), Serena do you know about this building?
(Y/n): nope
Trevor: it's called the Battle Chateau and it's famous for being a place where Trainers gather to improve their skills
(Y/n): kinda like the Survival Area back home
Trevor: if I learn even more about Pokémon. I'm sure I'll be able to defeat Kalos' eight Gym Leaders
Serena: that actually sounds really useful especially if we don't the Pokémon weakness
(Y/n): I feel targeted
Trevor: don't worry about it to much (Y/n)
(Y/n): easy for you to say *notices Tierno and Shauna coming back* you two find anything?
Shauna: not really because they're the same Pokémon we already have or they just run away
Serena: don't worry Shauna, you'll find a Pokémon that will work for your team
Shauna: thanks Serena
Serena: it's no problem, but now that very one is here, I'd like to have a Pokémon battle with everyone. Now, how should we pair up?
(Y/n): boys vs girls
Tierno: that sounds fine
Trevor: I agree with (Y/n)
Shauna: and I'll be spectating the battle
Serena: very well then. Trevor, Tierno we challenge you to a Pokémon battle!
Tierno: your on!
As everyone agreeing and distance themselves then grab their Pokéballs and bring out their Pokémon
Tierno: alright Corphish! Out you come!
Trevor: Pikachu I choose you!
Serena: Braixen come on out!
(Y/n): go Skiddo!
With each Pokémon out the battle can now start and Serena is the first person to give a command with (Y/n) following behind
Serena: alright use ember on Pikachu!
(Y/n): use vine whip on Corphish!
Trevor: Pikachu dodge then use quick attack!
Tierno: Corphish dodge!
With every Pokémon listening to their trainer and go for the attack as Braixen fires an ember from her stick at Pikachu but they nimbly dodge and run straight at Braixen and hit their target as Skiddo launches their vines at Corphish missing the first whip and narrowly missing the second time
Tierno: now Corphish use bubble beam on Braixen!
Corphish moves it's focus away from Skiddo and raises it's claw at Braixen and fires and before Braixen or Serena could react Skiddo jump in front of Braixen and takes the hit
Serena: thanks (Y/n)
(Y/n): no problem, now Skiddo use razor leaf!!
Skiddo launches a bunch of leafs at both Pikachu and Corphish and hitting both of them and fainting both Pikachu and Corphish
Trevor: wow that was impressive (Y/n), but it's not over yet! *Throws out Flabébé's ball*
Flabébé: Flabébé!
Trevor: alright Flabébé use fairy wind!
A gust of wind come from Flabébé and hits both Braixen and Skiddo leaving them worse for wear
Serena: Braixen! You okay?!
Braixen: Brai!
Serena: that's good to hear, now use flame charge!
(Y/n): Skiddo use double edge!
Both Skiddo and Braixen charge at Flabébé and cause it to faint and making Serena and (Y/n) the winners of the battle
Serena: victory is ours!
Tierno: well done you two!
Trevor: yeah I've never seen such teamwork before
Shauna: it's like you guys were on the same wavelength the entire battle
(Y/n): well training this morning helped so there's that
Serena: well we should heal our Pokémon up so we're ready to move on to the next town
With everyone nodding in agreement Shauna heals everyone's Pokémon and while while the boys stayed behind to train their Pokémon the girls head towards the Connecting Cave and that ends today's chapter I hoped you enjoyed it and I hope to see you soon bye bye
