I hugged my knees tighter, sniffling as the rain poured harder, soaking me entirely. I felt my tears pool in my eyes, making my vision blurry.
I jolted in surprise as I felt arms wrapping around me, the rain stopping. I lifted my head, teary eyes landing on a pair of soft brown eyes, attention on me.
I widened my eyes as I realized who it was, I hugged him tightly, him laughing as he hugged me back with just as much care.
"It's okay, amor, I'm here." He comforted, his voice soft. He slowly stood us up, beginning to walk the way towards Casita.
"Come on, Hermosa, lets get you some arepas." He smiled, I kissed him, him jolting in surprise, but relaxing and kissing back.
He pulled away, a soft look in his eyes.
"I love you."
