I just finished having lunch with Richie, and this afternoon I'm hanging out with Eddie while my brother went to the arcade.

Richie choices as he went out the house.
He told me he was going to the arcade again.
I watched some tv in the living room when the phone started ringing.
It's probably Eddie!!
I reached for it by the side and answered it.
" Hello? Y/n Tozier speaking. "
I said.
" Y/n it's Eddie, u could come over now, you know? If you uhhh... If you want. "
I hear him chuckle at the end of his sentence.
" Sure thing Ed's, see ya, loser. "
I hung up on the phone, and changed into something different.
I looked over to my brothers closet and found one of his blazer thing
Tried it on and surprisingly it fit me!
Under that I wore Y/f/c shirt,
( though white seems to suit it.. )
some shorts and my some
sneakers.

Before I left, I checked myself in the mirror
as always, rushed out my room and down the stairs.
I was on my way to the door when,
" Y/n? "
My heard my mom speak as she stood by the stairs.
" Mom? "
I replied..
I guess she was finally up, after being passed out
in her room...
" Where are you going? "
She questioned me and I already had my hand
on the DOORKNOB!
" Like you'd care.. "
I whispered but she heard me.
" What was that? "
She snapped.
" Eddie house.... Mom.. "
I paused turning the doorknob.
" What are you gonna do over at a boys house? "
She asked as she drank from
the bottle in her hand.
" He's a friend mom, we're just gonna hangout. "
I sighed as I explained to her.
" You better not be out late,
and where's Richie? "
" Shouldn't you know? He's your son after all? "
I scoffed.
" Where is he!? "
She raised her voice.
" Jesus, he's at the arcade! "
I argued back when she casually nodded and headed to the kitchen to get some more beer
or sum shit...
Could this day get any worse?!
I was literally by the door from when she spoke and said ,
" Your father's coming back tomorrow. "
She blurted out of the blue.
" I honestly don't care, mom. "
I sighed as I walked out the door, finally out of my house and biked my way to Eddie's house.
I know we're like literally next to each other but just Incase we'd go somewhere,
I got my bike.
On the way
I could see that Mrs. K wasn't home.
I finally made it to his porch
and was about to knock on the door
when it flew open.
Eddie has already opened the door before I even knocked.
" Y/n! "
He shouted with glee as he game me a hug.
" Hey, Kasbrak? Good to see you to? "
I laughed hugging him back.
" Come on! Let's go upstairs, I have this really cool movie I've been dying to watch with you! "
He said grabbing my hand and pulling me up the stairs to his room.
" Alright, alright! Calm down! "
I laughed as he closed his bedroom door.
Lil shocked he'd grab my hand?
Better yet, hug me..
" Just a sec, I'm gonna get the movie downstairs. "
He blurted out walking to the door when he stopped and looked back at me,

He paused.
" Yeah? "
I turned my head.
" Why do you look like Richie?
With the outfit and? "
" Just get the movie, Eddie? "
I laughed and he nodded then he rushed down
the stairs.
When suddenly the phone started to ring.
Should I answer it?
Knowing that Eddie was still downstairs,
I answered it.
" Y/n speaking ummm, uhhh
Kasbrak Residence? "
I said holding the phone up to my ear.
" Y/n! Great! Hi! "
I heard a
familiar voice shout on the other line
of the phone.
" I'm sorry, who is this? "
I laughed nervously.
" Y/n it's Beverly...! "
She laughed.
" Ohh! Hey Bev! Uhh Eddie's still downstairs,
could I give him a message or
tell him something?"
I asked.
" No actually, I called here since I called your house and your mom picked up.
She replied.
" Oh... "
I sighed.
" She told me you over at Eddie's house soo I called here. "
She explained.
" Ohh okay, well what's up?? "
" I'm meeting Bill somewhere in town
for a uh, you know?..."
" Really!! "
" Yeah, We're meeting in a few hours or so? "
" Well, what you guys uhm gonna do? "
I teased.
" Oh shut up Y/n, you know we can't do that.. "
Sh chuckled nervously.
" Hey if it ever comes up!? "
" Shut up! "
" Jeez okay! I was just teasing! "
" Anyways I just wanted to tell you!
I know how happy you get when it's about

" Of course Bev! Hope you guys have fun! "
I laughed.
" Thanks Y/n, have fun with Eddie! "
She smirked.
" Alright enough jokes, bye Bev! "
I chuckled as she hung up
the phone.
I put the phone down and went back
to his bed...
Annnndddd perfect timing, Eddie
opened the door.
" Got the movie? "
I asked.
" Yeah, oh and I also got some popcorn. "
He said as he gave the bowl to me.
" Sick.! "
I smiled as I ate some.
" um, why did Beverly call? "
He spoke up.
" Oh she wanted to tell me that she was having a date with Bill somewhere in town. "
I responded.
" Oh.. Then why didn't she call
at your house? "
" Well, she did call at my house but i'm over at your house so...
My mom told her so she called here. "
" Oh okay. "
" Wait how did you know that she called? "
" There's a phone in the living room, Y/n.
I heard it ring for abit, but it stopped so assumed
it was a wrong number.
Then I heard you laughing upstairs
so you probably picked up the phone. "
" Oohh... "
" I listened and you and Bev saying
bye to each other. "
He smirked.
" You did? "
I coughed, choking a little on the popcorn.
"Mhm, and boy are we gonna have fun! "
He smiled as he put the movie in the tv and sat down on the bed next to me.
" What do you mean fun? Ed's we're like
what? 13? 14? "
" Woah! I- I didn't mean that kind
of fun?!
Why, ummmmm...

He defended his answer.
" I mean, I don't know??????? "
I asked re - assuringly
as a joke.

My eyes shot up as I heard those words come out.

I nervously laughed as I slightly punched him
on his shoulder.
" Ow! Just shut up and watch the movie
will you? "
He asked as he moved farther away from me.
" Awh c'mon Ed's I was only joking. "
I pouted as I took his arm and started pulling him closer to where I was sitting.
" Fine. "
I heard him mumble as he moved closer
as we watched the movie....
Eddie's POV:
It's been an hour
since the movie started.
I looked to the side to see Y/n looking at me.
" What? "
I laughed.
" Nothing, you're just cute from your side profile. "
She casually said.

I said feeling my checks burn.
" Am I making you blush, Eddie? "
She laughed sitting up.

Y/n stood up and started looking
through my desk?
Y/n's POV:
I got up
and started looking for a marker for Eddie's cast, since he hasn't fixed the writing
on his cast.
" What are you doing? "
He asked looking confused.
" Just wait. "
I said as I looking for the marker.
While I was looking
for a marker on his desk, Eddie was just
sitting on the bed waiting
patiently...
" Here! "
I shouted as I held up a red marker.
" What's the red marker for? "
Eddie asked nervously.
" You still haven't gotten the writing on your cast fixed, loser. "
I chuckled emphasizing loser while handing him the marker, sitting next to him by the bed.
" Oh, right.
Uhh what do I write? "
He asked taking the red marker from my hand.
Right, ummm....
" Well, you could write a V over the S.
So it says, loverrrr??? Instead of loser..
Even tho you're like one of the biggest losers
in the world. "
I laughed reaching for some popcorn.
" Ouch? "
He furrowed his eyebrows.
" What?! Just facts?? "
I said as Eddie looked at me with a seriously face.
" But seriously though, I don't know?

I chuckled stuffing some more popcorn in my mouth.
While we thought for some more ideas I heard
someone come up the stairs.
" Fuck! "
" Shit, Eddie! "
Eddie and I whisper shouted.
" Same drill! Hide in the closet! "
He shouted as he walked and hid
in there.
Eddie's POV:
Suddenly my bedroom door opened.
" Hey mom... "
I whispered.
" Eddie bear... Did you take your medication today?
" Yeah a few minutes ago. "
I lied
" Okay.. Good. Oh and Eddie? "
" Yeah ma? "
" About the Tozier's? "
" What about them? "
" Are you still hanging out with them? "

" Yeah? What about Y/n? "

Knowing my mom hated Beverly... Especially Y/n..
I blurted out.
" O - oh yeah, definitely, I don't even like her... "

My mom nodded.
I gulped knowing Y/n would be hearing everything...
" I'll be downstairs Eddie bear.. "
My mom left the room.
I was about to get up to walked to the closet to let
Y/n out but she opened herself.
And she stood up...
I looked at her to see tears forming in her eyes.
" What's wrong, you okay Y/n? "
I stupidly asked her.
" Did you mean it... "
She whispered.
" What? "
I questioned her.
" Did you mean it... "
She repeated.
" Mean? Mean what? "
" Oh god... "
She smiled while a few tears fell on her checks
but she wiped them off..
" Are you seriously that dumb? I just asked..
Did... You... Mean... It... "
She said sternly pausing each word.
I realized what she meant...
Flashback:

" Of course I didn't mean it, I just had to agree with my mom, cause if denied she'd- she'd... "

I laughed but she said...
" I'm- I'm leaving. "
She wiped a few of her tears.
Y/n's POV:
I cried
while thinking of a way to leave.
The window...
" Wait Y/n don't go! Let- Let me explain. And how are you gonna leave? "
He looked to me while I looked around his room for a way out.
The window....
I started walking towards it.
" Are you crazy?! "
He whisper shouted.
" I don't know Ed's...
Am I?! "
I yelled but not loud enough for Ms.K's to hear
while opened the window.
" Y/n please don't, you know I didn't mean it! "
He pulled arm back.
I stopped
and looked at him.
" Fine, then explain. Right here, right now. "
I said wiping my tears again.
" I- ..... I- .... "
He paused and stuttered his words.
I knew he couldn't form his words since I pressured him to explain right away..
But it somehow still bothered me on what he said earlier.
To add to that it sounded like
he meant it.
" Oh yeah, definitely, I don't even like her... "
Kept repeating in my head over
and over, and over....
I sighed and without a second thought I jumped out.
In doing so, Eddie shouted my name,
I landed by my side,
It hurt a little but I guess you could say it was sort of a safe landing.?
I made my way to his porch to get my bike.
I got to his porch
and picked my bike up when his front door
flew open.
" What else do you want? "
I sniffled bringing my bike down.
" Y/n! Please, don't go! "
He pleaded as he walked out closing his front door
following me.
" Why should I listen to you? "
I continued walking not even looking at him.
" You know what... "
He paused.
" -Mmm - My mom was right. "
He mumbled his words which made me freeze.
What?
I looked at him
to see how confident he was while he said
those words
" Yeah Ed's,
I guess she was right all along. "
I sobbed even more as I looked at him, I could see
he looked really guilty...
" Go... Go fuck yourself, Y/n! "
I heard Eddie shout from behind.
Ouch.
I looked back to see him frustrated,
I hopped on my bike ignoring him and from a far.
Hearing a door slam and I didn't even know where
I was going,
but I made it to town. I could still feel my tears
rushing down my cheeks as
I biked.
