Moon softly brushed his digits in your hair.
"Correct answer, starlight~" Moon cooed before patting your head, and walking away.
"I wouldn't want to be as rrrambunctious and-RRRECKLESS-as he is. Grrgh-It leaves a-SENSE-of... distaste to me." He snarled.
"But-that's what makes Sun, fun!" Timmy defended the animatronic's alter ego.
"...and how about you, Y/N? Who do you prefer... more?" Moon tilted his head at you.
"I don't have any favourites." You straight up told the truth.
"You're not." He took a step forward.
"LYING." Towards you.
"To me again..." Then, another.
"Are you?" Until the gap between you had almost closed.
"I'm telling the truth." Y/N wasn't phased at his antics at all.
"RRGH-I-" For a moment his dark eye flashed purple.
"Sorry." But he shook it off.
"I got carried away. My... circuits must be loose again." Moondrop held the affected eye.
"Moon-what was that?" You asked him.
He couldn't answer.
He wasn't allowed to.
Or something will happen.
"Hey, stop acting so dark-and let's get this game over with!" Your brother complained. Pulling you close by, and away from Moon.
"...Yes. Sure." Moondrop recovered from his change.
"BUT I-won't be losing~" He was back to his sly, self again.
"Hoho-let's make it a challenge then-" Your brother proposed.
"Um-I'll just-see you both play fairly." Y/N blotted out.
"Oh~we will. Starlight~"
The game started.
Timmy began by saying to go in threes.
Giving the whole crowd 10 seconds to group up.
You paired up with two other kids.
Your brother did the same.
As for Moon-he
... kidnapped two all by himself.
"Looks like nobody wants to team up with you-boo-hoo-" Y/N's brother laughed at the night attendant.
"I'll make you regret that." Moondrop snarled before releasing the two children. They both scurried away.
"Just be more gentle, Moon." Y/N nudged him on the side.
His red eyes looked down on you, a twang of guilt struck on his ever terrifying face.
"I... will." He vowed, understanding that he's still not fully accepted by the crowd of children as of now.
He has still yet to learn on how to be as caring as he does to sleepy kids.
"Oooookaaay! So many out now-uh-go in groups of two-I mean pairs!" Timmy commanded the remaining players.
Being right beside Moon for the moment, you were about to team up.
Until the sound of crying yielded you mid-way.
"N-no. No! A-Anyone n-need a partner?" The child was alone.
"You have 7 seconds go-" Timmy cheered on.
The child frantically searched around.
But, everyone else was either taken already or out of the game.
"5 seconds-"
You felt bad for them, and so you gave away your spot for the kid.
"Hey, I think someone also needs somebody too." Y/N went behind and gave a soft push to the kid towards Moondrop.
The animatronic was confused, weren't you supposed to pair up with him?
"2 seconds-"
The kid hesitated, but bravely held onto the towering animatronic.
"Looks like Y/N's out!" Timmy declared.
Moon stood still, looking at the child then at you in utter disarray.
You only chuckled, waving him goodbye and giving the robot a thumbs up for not protesting.
"Guess it's us, now." Moon concluded as he stared at the kid.
"Well-thanks-I'll thank Y/N t-too later." The child nervously blurted out.
Now, he understood.
The child was facing the same situation as he did.
"Then, let's win for them. No?" Moon knelt on one leg, as he ruffled the kid's hair.
Your smile grew all the more wider, Moondrop did just what you had hoped.
But, better!
"Alrighty, there's 4 of you left-so get into a group of 3-" Timmy proclaimed.
Just in that moment, Moon carried the child and went for the other.

Yet, he was tackled onto the ground by his rival.

Your eldest sibling.

"Oop-" Your brother slyly, apologised.

Moon scowled at him. Disappointed in his jerk move.

"Get off." He growled at your sibling.

"We don't want to team up with you." Moon hissed at him, as the child nodded in approval.

"It's us 3, that kid you're trying to get to is a goner-"

Moon shoved him off before running off to the other kid.

Embracing the children right on time, before your brother could react back.
"Congratulations! You lost!" Timmy ran in front of your brother.
"Shut up-I had it!" Your brother was... salty about it.
"You never stood a chance." You told the truth right onto his face, before dragging him on the collar this time.
Both of you had to talk privately in the security area.
The kids praised the three who made it in the end.
Moon was being showered on the most because of his sense of justice.
"If I was you-I would have yeeted him to oblivion!" A boy exclaimed.
Moon chuckled.
"Would've done the same too. But, I'm not authorised to do so."
The crowd went silent.
"At the moment~" Moon winked at them all.
Then the kids went wild.
"We wanna play more with YOU!" The child he teamed up with begged.
"Oh-um." Moon looked around for you, but it seems that you were busy scolding your brother.
"Pleeeeaaaaase-" Timmy pleaded.
"I... don't see why not." He chuckled.
"YEAAAA-" The crowd was rowdier than ever.
Moon was now used to it all.
The noise.
The chaos.
It reminded him of his other self.
Of Sun.
Perhaps, he could find closure and comfort to it all.
Despite it being against his very programming for a peaceful nighttime.
He was getting influenced, the way he didn't expect it to.
"Heheh~Why don't we go and play hide and seek?"
The group of children immediately agreed.
"THIS IS GONNA BE SO AWESOME AND SCARY-" Timmy screamed.
"Depends on who's the seeker little one~"
