- constantly asking you what you need, then telling you to not answer him because your throat might hurt
- buys you everything you could need
- blankets, medicine, hot packs, cold packs, a thermometer, an IV drip, a spoon?, a strange smelling liquid from some lady on the street, etc.
- it's overwhelming to be honest
- so you grab him by the wrist as he feeds you your fourth bowl of watery porridge and pull him next to you

- hilarious
- you spend so much of the time laughing she doubts you're actually sick

- as soon as you make a noise or mumble, she's by your side in an instant

- and you're sick so you feel like crying because of how much care she's giving you

- so sweet
- there's a thoughtfulness in everything she does for you
- like, she squeezes that pressure point between your thumb and index finger to help reduce your aching head
- and the glass of water beside your bed is always full
- attempts at cooking and does a pretty good job
- massages your feet
- she's bustling around the whole day just to make sure you're as comfortable as possible
- keeps a careful watch over you when you sleep in case you cough or feel queasy
- "caitlyn, why don't you rest for a bit?"
"my dear, you're sick. i can rest once you get better."

JAYCE
- calls in sick from work to stay with you
- buys you any medicine you might need
- visits his mom for home remedies and advice on how to care for you
- consults some doctors about your condition to make sure it isn't serious
- constantly checking your temperature and asking how you feels
- is doing paperwork beside you so he can watch over you
- makes you little trinkets to busy yourself with
- also tells goofy jokes when he can
- "so an inventor walks into a bar—"
"honey, i think i need some more water."
"oh, i'll get that."

MEL
- i feel like she'd be sort of clueless
- takes a vacation day
- goes to the hospital so they can check on you
- rubs her thumb over your hand to soothe you
- afterwards, she takes you home and sets you up in the living room so it's easy to get what you need
- doesn't know what to cook so she boils water
- which is also helpful but you're hungry
- she gets someone to bring food instead
- working on stuff beside you as she complains about said work
- when she finishes, she'll read to you and tell you stories
- "do i stick the thermometer into your mouth or armpit?"
"uh, i think either is fine. just don't do both."
"are you sure, love?"
"...please don't do both."
EKKO
- he's seen many people lose their lives to disease so he tries everything he can to cure you
- and you do everything he wants to try because you understand his fear and the immense love he has for you
- constantly getting you food and water and talking with others about your condition to see what you need
- including strange home remedies from various people
- and some mystery liquid that actually stops your cough (he and jinx went to the same guy)
- makes sure you stay in bed all day even if you feel better
- very bashfully attempts to feed you
- he has a hard time staying still, so he moves his desk next to the bed and tinkers with some stuff
- shows you what he's doing and explains as he goes
- hands the device to you when he's finished so you have something to distract yourself
- "here, it's finished."
"ekko, i really feel okay, go do what you need to do."
"...i think i'll try making a fish next."
"dude."
SILCO
- is surprisingly cute? about it
- like
- he gets you everything you might need
- has the Doctor look after you personally
- has confidence you'll get well soon, but still worried (he doesn't show it)
- finds that his office is very empty without your presence
- and feels restless when the person he trusts most isn't by his side
- visits you whenever he has free time but says it's "to keep you updated on your work"
- he softens his demeanor and allows himself to be vulnerable
- but just a little
- "get better soon, you're behind on your work," he says, cupping a hand behind your head and bringing you forward to kiss your forehead.
"yessir." he frowns at your joke and pulls back.
"stop that."
"yessir."
SEVIKA
- is at a bit of a loss
- most of her issues in life can be solved with force, or by physical means
- so when you get sick, she's a bit, um,
- useless
- i mean
- she's extremely gentle, but she has no idea what to do
- carries you everywhere like your body is broken
- it's very nice, considering you're exhausted, but she has no idea how to actually make you feel better
- so she complies with whatever you ask of her, in feigned protest
- it's kind of cute how she complains but then proceeds to get you what you need anyways
- when you get better she is all over you, kissing you and hugging you and hovering closer than usual, like she can somehow protect you from getting sick again
- "can you get me a bucket of cold water and a towel?"
"get it yourself." (proceeds to get the water and the softest towel you own)
"thanks!"
"whatever." (secretly quite pleased that she was able to help you)
