"Hey Reg" Aubrey said as she sat down on the couch, her glasses slid down to the tip of her nose,
"Hey babe" Reggie said said kissing the top of her head as he went to sit down at the table
"How was work" he asked her
"Uh, it was good, we finally finished our projects for the art fair Friday" Aubrey said playing with the strings to her skirt
"That's good, I finished signing the papers for the new PR deal, so expect a PR package in the mail soon" Reggie said
"Okay" Aubrey said getting on her phone
"Also, my family's coming over for dinner" Reggie said getting up
Aubrey sat up
"What"
"Ya, I told you last night" Reggie said fixing his shirt collar
"I know but I totally forgot, I have to change" Aubrey said running to her room, she quickly slipped out of her work attire and put on something more casual,
"You looked pretty either way" Reggie said kissing her temple
"Thanks Reggie" Aubrey said, there was a knock on the door and Reggie grabbed it, Vinnie and his parents stood outside
"Come in, come in" Reggie said
"Oh Reggie, this is nice" Maria said looking around, at the paintings on the wall
"And Aubrey, we want to thankyou for letting Reggie stay here, and taking care of him even after what Vinnie did" Maria said glaring at him
"Awe, it's no problem Maria, it's the least I could do" Aubrey said
"So, I made dinner" Reggie said motioning for them to sit down
Vinnie walked by Aubrey, and leaned down to whisper in her ear,
"I bet my mom doesn't know, you two are fucking it be a shame if she found out her little boy is being tarnished by a slut like you" he said sitting down next to her
Aubrey looked at him and smiled
"Awe, but she does know, matter of fact? Who do you think picked out this ring" Aubrey said showing Vinnie the diamond ring Reggie had gave her
Vinnie looked at it, and rolled his eyes
"You know this could've been you, making dinner for your family, buying me rings, and fucking me senseless, but no, you traded it all in for your few seconds of pleasure with a red head" Aubrey said to him, there voices where low so no one heard them
"Oh please, don't act like you don't imagine it's me fucking you, Reggie couldn't please you like I could, and you know it" Vinnie said
"Your right he can't, cause he does it way better" Aubrey said
"Oh yeah, why don't we test it" Vinnie smirked
Aubrey looked at him
"Nice try, but it's not going to happen, I'm happy with Reggie, don't be jealous your brothers tapping and your not" Aubrey said
"You can have him, I bet he's enjoying my leftovers, I have hundreds of bitches wanting to fuck me and all I have to do is snap my fingers and there on there knees" Vinnie said
"Ya, and you'd still come back to me when they can't fulfill you" Aubrey said as she put food on her plate
Vinnie glared at her, cause it was true
"Don't act like you didn't come back either"
He said placing food on his plate as well
"But who was begging for me to come back" Aubrey said
"Who was begging for me to touch them" Vinnie retorted
"Just shut up, already" Aubrey said rolling her eyes
"Make me" Vinnie whispered in her ear, she felt goosebumps arise on her skin and she heard Vinnie let out a small laugh
"Still get nervous don't you" he said
"Ahem, Vinnie, how's the Netflix show" Reggie asked
"Good, Reggie, how's my ex" Vinnie said
"Vinnie" Nate said
"What, I'm just asking, how do my leftovers taste, oh wait, I forgot, this isn't your first time hooking up with her is it" Vinnie said sipping his drink
"Vincent, that's enough" Aubrey said
"What's he talking about" Maria said
"Oh, you didn't know, my apologies mom, Aubrey wanna explain to her what happened" Vinnie said leaning back in his seat
"Vinnie, that's enough" Reggie said
"Explain what?, what are y'all three talking about" Maria asked
"Since they won't talk, back in January, when we had the New Years party, Aubrey here, let Reggie fuck her" Vinnie said
Aubrey felt embarrassed as they all looked at her, she felt her face grow hot, and her heart began beating faster than normal
"Vinnie, seriously" Reggie said throwing his fork down
"Aubrey, is this true" Maria asked covering her mouth
She didn't say anything, she kept her head down, as she thought of a way to get her out of this
"Aubrey" Maria said
"Go on Aubrey tell her" Vinnie said
"Would you shut the fuck up already, Vinnie" Reggie yelled, his face was red, clearly he was upset and embarrassed as well
"I think we should go" Maria said
"All of us, even you Reggie" she added
"What-mom no, my job and school" Reggie said
"You where doing just fine in Seattle, get in the car"
"Maria, don't you think this is a bit dramatic" Nate said trying to reason with her
"No, nate, I just...I just need time to process all of this, Aubrey, we still love you and consider you apart of the family, but this feud between our boys has to end, we're going to keep Reggie until this all dies down alright, but just know we aren't mad at you" Maria said holding Aubreys cheek
She nodded as tears threatened to pour down her cheeks,
"Seriously mom, your taking her side" Vinnie said
"You, be quite, get in the car now" Maria said
Vinnie groaned and left the apartment, then Nate, and then Maria, leaving Aubrey sitting alone at the table, she looked at the half eaten food that sat on there plates, she stood up and began cleaning, putting everything in the trash, and sink, she changed into sweats and a jacket and sat down on her couch
She hated this feeling, she felt guilty, she broke apart Vinnie and Reggie, just cause she wanted to see Vinnie mad, she was a terrible person for it, she felt like quitting, giving up, she laid down on the couch, curled up in a ball, as she thought about what she was going to do, she felt like giving up on everything she worked for, she wasn't happy with her job like she thought she would be, she imagined coming home with wonderful stories to tell about her artwork, only she wanted to tell those stories to Vinnie,
She wanted him, and even if it showed how little she had respect for herself, she wanted him, cause to her he was her everything, and the toxic relationship they had fueled her, it gave her life, it kept her on her toes, and she loved it, she just didn't like how it ended

SEPTEMBER 21,
"Are you sure, I mean is there something we can do to make you stay" The principal asked
"Uh, no, there's a lot of stuff going on in my private life, and I don't want the kids in the middle of it, they deserve a teacher who can be here all the time, and not call in after every minor inconvenience" Aubrey said
"Well, okay, I guess have your classroom cleaned out by Friday" the principal said
"Thankyou, Mrs. Hoshin, and again I'm sorry for the short notice" Aubrey said
"It's all right" she said
Aubrey walked to her classroom, and started gathering up her stuff, she took everything off her desk and walls, and signed out of her computer
She left sitting in the car, staring at her steering wheel, her finger tracing over the stitching of the leather, her phone began ringing and she looked at it
Bryce was calling
She picked it up and answered
"Hey, Aubrey are you busy" he asked
"No, I'm on my way home why"
"Can me, Tana, Nai, Larray and Issa come over" he asked
"Ya, what for" Aubrey said
"We're planning a party, but we need your help" he said
"Oh, well I'll be home in a bit, the doors opened" Aubrey said
"Okay, thanks" Bryce said before hanging up

"Okay, and we can have a "best matching costume contest" Bryce said
"Ohhh, yeah, and the winners get to share a spooky kiss" Aubrey said
"Wait omg yes" Nai said
"Okay, so everything's planned out, ill talk to my parents about letting us use there house in Hollywood, and you guys, got everything else right" Aubrey said
"Yup, Nais getting the food, Tana and I are getting the beer, Larray is making the invitations and Issa is getting decorations" Bryce said
"Perfect, this is going to be the best Halloween party ever" Bryce said high-fiving Aubrey
"So what's going on in your life, I feel like we don't talk anymore, ever since you became a teacher" Tana said
"Yeah, we'll I kinda quit" Aubrey said
"What" Tana said
"Ya, it just didn't feel right, like I wanted to be there for them, but there's days where I'm to lazy to het out of bed and I call in sick, and I just don't think I'm responsible enough to be a teacher" Aubrey said laughing
"We'll you are barley 18" Tana said
"So that means your free to drink and party with us bitch" Larray said
"Yup"
"See this is the side I love about you, it's good to ease up" Bryce said
"Ya, it feels nice" Aubrey said smiling
