When Aizawa sensei announced they were all going to camp regardless of whether they passed or not, a wave of relief and excitement washed over the class. They quickly planned a trip to the mall together in order to get everything they needed for this summer training expedition. Izuku's arm was still wrapped up in bandages since Recovery Girl wasn't able to heal it all in one go. His own healing factor had already taken care of what was left of his injuries, but he needed to keep the act up.
Izuku clearly remembered the way Shoto stormed into the nurse's office the moment he heard about Izuku's injuries. They had to calm him down and assure him everything was okay. Kacchan took him outside to talk afterwards, but Izuku never heard what they talked about exactly.
"Hi Deku-kun! I'm glad you could make it!" Uraraka smiled, waving at him as he arrived at their meeting point. Katsuki was with him, scoffing at the use of his nickname by that round faced girl. He was surprisingly fine after taking All Might head on. Part of that was thanks to Deku's support in the fight and another part due to the extra secondary quirk that had since been pulled out of his system. Whatever, he'll just give the green head some space with his dumb friends while he socializes with his own idiots.
"How's your arm, Midoriya?" Iida asked, motioning towards the bandages.
"Oh, Recovery Girl managed to heal most of it, it's already way better!" Izuku smiled, waving it off.
"Seriously, no need to worry about it. I'll be fine to go again when we go to camp"
"See? I told you Iida, Deku-kun is fine!" Uraraka added. Those answers seemed to satisfy the class rep to some degree and he went back to checking who was here and who had yet to arrive.
"It's too bad Todoroki-kun couldn't join us today. I would've loved to introduce him to boba!" Ochako stated. Right, Shoto was visiting his mom today. Izuku was happy he took the first step in restoring their relationship. His friend seemed so much happier now that their contact had been restored!
"You just want to be introduced to Endeavor's credit card" Hagakure pointed out with a laugh.
"Hey! A girl can dream!" Uraraka grinned, making all the other girls laugh too. Izuku rolled his eyes, yet he couldn't suppress a chuckle. It's true Shoto is rich, but so is he. His dad had tons of money stashed away in several hard to track down accounts that were donated to his company every now and then to resupply their funds. Yet none of his classmates knew about that aspect of his fathers job and Izuku wanted it to stay that way.
"Alright! It seems like everyone has arrived!" Yaomomo smiled, calling for attention as she clapped in her hands.
"I suggest we split off into smaller groups in order to find the things we're looking for and meet back here in, uhm, let's say 2 hours? 3 maybe? Then we can all go eat somewhere together"
"2 and a half hours" Iida suggested, standing next to her as they spoke to their friends.
"If you know you're going to be late or are already heading home before the meeting time, please notify me in advance!"
"Sounds like a plan! Come on Blasty, you're coming with us" Ashido grinned, pulling Katsuki with her towards Jirou and the rest of their squad.
"What the fuck?! I'm going wherever the hell I want to go!" Katsuki complained.
"No you're not! You lost those privileges when you bragged about your make-up skills so now you've gotta come shop with us!" Mina stated, making Bakugou flush red. Not everyone needed to know he knew shit about make-up! It wasn't his fault his parents worked in the fashion industry or his mom was a model with a bathroom full of beauty products!
"Do you have any idea how hard it is to find stuff that matches my skin colour? Come on Blasty, help a girl out for a change!"
"Ugh, fine! But you better stop your whining!"
Izuku chuckled at the exchange, happy to follow Uraraka, Iida and Asui to one of the nearby clothing stores.
"I'm going to look for some bug spray after this, anyone coming with?" Ochako asked while browsing the racks.
"I wanted to pick up some new training weights while we're here, but we can do that afterwards" Izuku hummed, strolling behind the girls with a few items slung over his arm.
They were all pieces they wanted to try on and Izuku had happily volunteered to carry them for them while they were still shopping, glad to be of help. Iida was somewhere else in the store, but they could still see him from their aisle.
"I'm not looking for anything in particular, so I can come with you" Tsuyu added while holding up a green sweater with a cartoon frog on the front of it.
"Oh, that's so cute! You should definitely buy it!" Uraraka squealed.
"You really think so?" Asui asked.
"What do you think, Midoriya?"
Before Midoriya could answer, someone else spoke up behind him.
"Seriously? A frog in a frog sweater? That's just ridi-Ack!"
Izuku just managed to see Tenko elbowing Dabi into his side as the dark haired teen broke off his sentence.
"Sorry about that, Izuku. I hope we're not interrupting anything?" Tenko apologized with a smile while Dabi grumbled and rubbed his side.
"You know them, Deku-kun?" Uraraka asked quietly. If he did they'd probably be boys who live or have lived with him, right? In his father's wayward house?
"Oh, let me introduce you guys!" Izuku smiled, turning towards his friends.
"This is Tenko, my older brother, and Dabi, his boyfriend. Ah, and uh, these are Uraraka-san and Tsu-chan"
"It's so nice to finally properly meet you guys! I saw some of Izuku's friends during a study session at our house but I didn't want to interrupt anything" Tenko chuckled, scratching the back of his head.
"Again sorry about this idiot, he doesn't have a filter"
"Hey!" Dabi exclaimed, frowning.
"Oh shut up" Tenko mumbled.
"It's uh nice to meet you too!" Uraraka answered, forcing a smile.
"Yeah, a real fucking pleasure, now let's go" Dabi groaned, pulling Tenko with him.
"I don't want to intrude, but do you think they might've gotten into a fight or something? They didn't really act like a couple to me" Asui asked once the two boys were out of sight.
"Oh that? No, they're always like that. I guess Dabi just didn't get what he wanted or something and now he's all whiny about it" Izuku shrugged.
"Well, they're certainly interesting" Uraraka chuckled.
"And you don't look like your brother at all, Deku-kun! I wouldn't be able to tell the two of you are related if you hadn't said anything"
"That's probably because Tenko is adopted" Izuku pointed out.
"Oh..! That does explain things I guess. He seems like a nice guy" Uraraka smiled.
"But his boyfriend did make me hesitate though... A person with a frog quirk wearing a frog sweater is kinda weird, isn't it?" Asui asked.
"What? No! Don't listen to that jerk Tsu! You can wear whatever you want!"

Hitoshi was nervously fidgeting with the strings of his sweater while Hisashi drove them to UA. Exams were over and he got great grades plus they had footage of some training exercises he did in the training facilities against other kids that live there. These were all things Hisashi would use to try and convince UA to let him transfer or at least consider it after a test of their own or something.
So yeah, Hitoshi was freaking the fuck out. This could be his chance! But what if it was too early? What if UA rejected the idea? What if he couldn't get another chance? But what if he got in? What if he could actually join the hero course after summer break? His dream could become a reality... This whole thing was just so stressful and exciting all at once!
"Alright, you ready?" Hisashi asked as he parked the car.
"...I guess" Hitoshi sighed. He didn't want to be ungrateful, no, he was happy someone was willing to invest so much into his dream. But that didn't mean he wanted this confrontation... The fear of losing it all was something so ingrained into his mind it was hard to let go of the feeling.
"We've got everything we need to convince them, there is nothing to worry about, okay?" Hisashi smiled.
"You'll see. Everything is gonna be fine. Just let me work my magic"
Well, if he was as charismatic as his son, Hitoshi didn't have a reason to fear. Izuku could wrap anyone around his finger in an instant, although he wasn't sure whether or not it was one of his many quirks...
"Happy to see you decided to take the front door for a change" Eraserhead deadpanned when he saw Hisashi approach, earning a laugh out of the man. Hitoshi vividly remembered Inko scolding her husband about using Kurogiri as a means for transportation way too often and scaring the crap out of people. Eraser must've been on the receiving end of that endeavor...
"Kurogiri deserves his days off, Eraser! But we're not here to talk about me-" he smiled, ruffling Shinsou's wild hair.
"-It's all about this fine young lad"
"Of course, let's go inside. Principal Nezu is waiting for us in his office" Aizawa nodded, guiding the two guests towards the school building.
The school was eerily quiet without students wandering around, making their steps echo through the halls. Hitoshi didn't like it one bit. It just made him more tense and stressed out. And if that wasn't enough already, of all the people that could be walking around school at that moment, they had to run into All Might.
The man was deep in thought so he didn't notice them immediately. He was still trying to place the things that happened during the practical exams of the hero course. Part of him was still in denial about it, but another part was fully convinced Midoriya Izuku was the new holder of All For One. That thought alone sparked other questions, like had All For One been passed on the same way One For All had throughout the years? Had every previous holder faced their own unique adversary without any of them knowing about it?
Or maybe it wasn't passed down as frequently as One For All..? If it was even passed on at all, that is. For all he knew Midoriya could be the first successor of that monster, the next pillar of a worldwide underground criminal network... He had to stop that boy before he became a serious threat! If he got the chance to interrogate him, he might be able to get some good intel. Like who the previous holder of the quirk was...
It had to be someone he knew, someone close to him. All For One wouldn't pass on his quirk to just anyone... But Izuku couldn't have been a close confidant or right hand man, he's way too young for that. So maybe a relative..?
"Whoa there big guy! We almost had a collision there" Hisashi chuckled, putting his hands between him and All Might so the buffer man wouldn't run him over.
"Oh, uh, I'm sorry, I-"
All Might cut himself off when he saw who he always ran into. Hisashi Midoriya... Izuku's father...
A blood relative.
"What are you doing here, All Might?" Aizawa asked, just wanting to get this meeting over with so he could catch up on some sleep.
"I came to get the planning for the first year training camp" he answered, allowing his eyes to wander to the two visitors. He recognized the purple haired boy as the general studies student that shocked some teachers at the sportsfestival. What were they doing here together..?
"Oh, then you'll be mentoring my Izuku this summer! How wonderful!" Hisashi exclaimed, his eye twitching as he tried his best to keep on smiling.
"Ah, I guess so!" All Might answered with just as much strained enthusiasm as Hisashi.
"Say Mr Midoriya, what brings you to UA? No trouble regarding your son, I hope"
"Oh no, this is a joyous occasion, isn't it Eraser?" Hisashi smiled.
"That remains to be seen" the black ray of sunshine grumbled.
"I'm sure Nezu won't have any objections! Now come on, I don't have all day!"
With that Hisashi urged the others to move forward until All Might was finally out of sight and he groaned.
"Really? He's going to teach the first year training camp? Couldn't he have picked literally any other year?!" he hissed to Eraserhead.
"You know how Izuku is going to react! This will be a disaster! Why do we even have that goddamn restraining order if UA doesn't act upon it?!"
"Calm down, this is also the first thing I'm hearing about this" Aizawa grumbled, clearly not pleased with this either. Hitoshi just glanced between the two men, wondering to himself why Midoriya never mentioned a fucking restraining order. Who would put a restraining order on the number one hero? That's just screaming hey I'm a villain but now you can't catch me haha! What was this stuff? A bad cartoon or something?
"We'll have a chat about this with Nezu after discussing Shinsou's possible transfer" the teacher continued, now looking at the student in question.
"You seem awfully calm about this..."
"Ah, uh, yeah, everyone living with him knows about Hisashi's unhealthy hyperfixation on All Might" Hitoshi shrugged, remembering he could get Izuku or the others in trouble if Aizawa knew he found out about All For One.
"I'd be scared shitless too if I had a dad who acted like that"
"Hey! There is nothing wrong with the way I raise my son!" Hisashi frowned. Shouta simply sighed, not wanting to put any more energy than strictly necessary in this rant. He hoped this meeting with Nezu would be over quickly and, hopefully, with a potential new member of the hero course as a result.
