After the fight, Jay was just shutting his mouth the whole time. The teacher called him to answer the question a few times but he ignored them all, just pretending to sleep with his ear pods still on. Haesoo didn't even take a glance at him, just doing her works like nothing is happening between them. She had no idea why did Jay act that way to her. The fact that the guy was just leaving her hanging without directly telling her what does he want from her made Haesoo so confused.

Haesoo sighed heavily and finally turned her body facing him. As she was about to say something, Jay stood up and left the classroom without asking for permission from the teacher. Everyone was looking at him speechlessly, just staying in their position instead of stopping that guy because they knew that it would be so useless since he was so stubborn.

An hour past but Jay still didn't come back to the classroom. The teacher didn't want to make the problem bigger, so he was just letting Jay do whatever that guy want. The lesson ended well as usual and lunchtime came.

As soon as the bell was ringing, Haesoo was the first one who stood up and left the classroom after bidding goodbye to the teacher. She ran to the cafeteria, and let out a relief when she was the first student who arrived so early. Haesoo didn't hesitate and bought two bowls of tteobokki. After she has done, she carefully brought the food with her while walking to the rooftop.

Haesoo stepped onto the rooftop and glued her eyes at Jay who was sitting at the edge of the rooftop. She approached him nervously until Jay noticed her presence.

Jay glared at her, "What do you want?"

Haesoo handed the bowl of tteobokki to him,

"I'm so sorry for talking to you rudely earlier. I shouldn't get mad at you that much. I'm sorry if I was the reason you were skipping the class."

Jay sighed heavily and fixed his eyes on her,
"Do you think I will get hurt over the silly thing? I was doing this because I wanted to."

"I always did this. I skipped class when I wanted to. It's not because of you."

Haesoo parted her lips, felt so dumb and embarrassed after listening to his explanation.

"I thought you got hurt-"

"No. So, now leave me alone." He mumbled.

Haesoo nodded, just shutting her mouth as she didn't want to pick a fight with him anymore. She walked towards the door to exit the place and stopped again, turning her body facing him.

"Jay."

Jay groaned, "What now?"

"Do you want to share this food with me? You bought a lot of food and drinks for me last time and now, I want to repay your kindness."

Jay didn't reply and after a minute, he spoke up.

"Leave."He coldly said.

Haesoo lowered her chin and sighed,
"Alright. If you want to, I will leave then."

As soon as Haesoo opened the door, she was surprised when she spotted Yedam and Jisung who were heading to the rooftop. Yedam grinned as his eyes met her while Jisung was still busy playing with his video game on the phone.

Yedam greeted her happily, catching Jay's attention.

"It's Haesoo! Park Sunghoon's future girlfriend."

Jisung grinned too. "Oh, it's her."

Haesoo blankly looked at them.
"What do you mean by that?"

"Do you think we are a fool? We caught you and Sunghoon were riding a motorbike together yesterday."

Jisung added, "Both of you were running away while holding your hand tightly."

Yedam laughed. "It's been a long time since I didn't see Sunghoon smile and laugh that much."

"Probably because of you." Jisung smiled making Haesoo so confused.

"It's not like that---"

"It's tteobokki!" Yedam shouted in happiness.

"We are hungry. Let's eat this together!" Jisung continued.

Haesoo chuckled, "Do you want to eat this with me--"

Before Haesoo could finish her words, Jay suddenly interrupted them. Yedam and Jisung were about to greet him but he was just ignoring them and pushing them away from the door before shutting the door loudly and locking it from the outside, just leaving him with Haesoo.

Yedam knocked on the door,
"Jay, what are you doing? We are planning to eat together--"

"This is my place. Leave us alone." Jay spoke and make sure the door locked again.

Haesoo was just looking at Jay blankly. As their eyes met, Jay grabbed the food from her.

"Don't you dare to unlock the door for them or I will throw you to the ground?" He spoke again and glared at her before going to the edge of the rooftop. Haesoo nodded nervously and sat next to him.

Jay handed food to her, "What are you waiting for? Let's eat."

Haesoo nodded again and took the food from him. She took a glance at Jay who was enjoying the food and looked away when he caught her.

"What are you looking at?" He asked.

"Why did you that, Jay? You told me to leave but--"

"I want you to stay with me now. Is there any problem with it?"

He cut her off making her blush at his words. Haesoo shook her head in disbelief and started to eat the food just to hide her red cheeks from that guy.

They were eating the food in silence. Both of them were just shutting their mouth the whole time and avoiding each other's gaze every time their eyes met. They were just fighting this morning and it was so awkward for them to talk to each other like long-time friends. So, they have nothing to do other than remain silent like a stranger.

Jay put the bowl down and waited for Haesoo to finish the food while playing with his phone.

The bell suddenly rang, meaning lunchtime comes to the end. Haesoo widened her eyes and was nervous when there was still a lot of food in the bowl that she hasn't finished. She wiped her mouth, searched for any trashcan nearby, and stood up causing Jay to look at her in confusion.

"Where do you want to go?" He finally spoke up.

Haesoo showed the food to him,
"I'm searching for the trashcan."

"There is still food in the bowl."

"I know, but we need to go now. We are late for the next lesson."

Jay shook his head and dragged her closer
to him as she was about to open the door.
He shook his head,
"You need to finish them."

"Jay, we are late."

"I'm going to skip the lesson. So, we are not late."

"But I don't want to skip the lesson."

Jay brushed his hair out of his face and held her wrist causing her to look at him surprisingly.

"Let's just get the detention together."

"What--"

"At least, I will be there to accompany you." He spoke with his eyes fixed on her.

"What if you run away?"

Jay scoffed, "Do you think I'm that kind of person?"

"You're always like that, Jay."

"Not anymore. I will keep my words."

~~

It was 30 minutes after lunchtime ended and Haesoo and Jay were still at the rooftop, gazing at the sky without talking to each other. Haesoo realized that the sky was cloudy, seems like it's going to rain soon. She took a glance at Jay and hesitated to tell him that they should leave before the rain will pour heavily. So, she was just shutting her mouth until Jay started the conversation first.

"How's the date with Sunghoon yesterday?" Jay spoke up after finishing the food that Haesoo hasn't finished earlier. Haesoo turned off her phone, trying to keep the conversation with Jay before they became so awkward again.

"It's not a date. I was just helping him with the festival thing since Hyuri couldn't attend the school."

Jay smirked, "But it's like a date to you, right?"

"Jay, don't pick a fight with me."

He chuckled, thinking of any words to tease her again.

"Why did you like him?"

Haesoo looked at him blankly,
"It takes time to explain."

She smiled, trying to tease him back.
"Jay, do you have someone you like?"

Jay confidently nodded and before he could finish his words, he suddenly received a call from someone. He took out his phone and stared at the screen for a long time making Haesoo confused. She took a peek at his phone and raised her eyebrows,

"Lee Soohyun?"

Haesoo mumbled and immediately walked away from Jay causing him to look at her in confusion.

"Why did you walk away?" He asked, still didn't pick up the call.

Haesoo pointed her finger at his phone,
"It's okay, Jay. You should answer the call when I'm not around. I will leave first."

"You shouldn't run away."

"I'm giving you a space to talk on the phone."

Jay sighed and declined the call. As he turned his body to her, he was surprised when she was about to leave the place. Before she could open the door, Jay quickly stopped her by shutting the door shut and locking it again.

"Haesoo, can you just stay still? Do you want to leave me that much?" Haesoo was surprised at his sudden questions. She shook her head in response.

"I told you. I'm giving you a space to talk on the phone."

"Why did you give me a space?"

"Because you were hesitating to pick up the call when I'm around."

Before Jay could say anything, Soohyun called him again. He stared at the phone for a long time and was surprised when it was suddenly raining heavily. Haesoo was about to leave the place as she was going to soak, but she quickly shut the door and locked it when she spotted Mr.Lim at the stairs, talking on the phone.

"What should we do, Jay?"

Jay opened the door and peek at Mr.Lim before shutting the door again.

"We have no choice other than staying here."

"But it's raining."

"Oh my god. The rain will not kill you." He mumbled and let his phone ring.

"It's getting heavier," Haesoo muttered.

"Chill. Then, let's just get soak."

"Jay, I'm a woman."

Jay groaned, "Oh I thought you are a guy before this!"

Haesoo sighed heavily and bend down. So, Jay couldn't see her chest.

"Jay, you're such a stupid." She mumbled.

"I can hear you." He replied.

Haesoo took a glance at Jay and was surprised when Mr.Lim knocked on the door while telling them to unlock the door.

"We got caught," Haesoo said nervously.

Jay looked at her and finally realized what was going on. He looked away, sighing heavily while thinking of an idea to cover her chest.

Jay walked towards Haesoo while fixing his eyes on hers.

"What are you going to do?" Haesoo gasped when he took off his uniform, just wearing his rock and roll black t-shirt.

"It's all your fault." She mumbled.

"Wow! Do you think I'm an angel to know that today will be raining?!" He fought back and threw his uniform on her face.

"Do you need to throw it?!"

"Haesoo, you're so tiny but why are you so noisy? you make me feel like I want to throw you for real."

Jay crossed his arm, didn't want to look at her until she covered her chest by using his uniform.

"Are you done?" He asked.

Haesoo shook her head.
"Don't look at me."

"Why should I look at you? I'm not a pervert."

Haesoo didn't reply, just trying to confirm that he will not be looking at her.

"Are you scared?" He asked and she immediately nodded.

Jay turned his body away, facing the sky.

"Stand behind me."

Haesoo immediately stood behind him and wore his uniform.

"Are you done?"

Haesoo hummed in response and Jay turned his body facing her.

He didn't expect his big and thick uniform will look so good on her. He parted his lips, trying to hold his laughter as it was so funny to see her in a man's uniform.

"Stop laughing!" She spoke up angrily.

Jay lowered his head and couldn't help but laugh.

"Jay, don't laugh."

"I thought you are a kid for a second." He laughed more.

Haesoo groaned and hit him on his stomach causing him to groan too.

"You!" He spoke causing her to laugh at him back.

"It's tied," Haesoo replied and laughed again as his reaction earlier was so funny.

She was laughing so hard for a minute and finally shut her mouth when she caught Jay was staring at her with a disgusted look.

They made eye contact for a minute and ended it when Mr.Lim suddenly stepped onto the rooftop.

"Who's so noisy here?!"

Haesoo gasped, "We got caught for real."

Mr.Lim groaned as he couldn't see clearly who they are.
"Who are you?!"

Before Mr.Lim could recognize them without his glasses, Jay quickly pulled Haesoo on his back and ran away.

Haesoo held Jay tightly and was surprised when Jay suddenly shut the door before locking it from the inside, letting Mr.Lim get trapped.

Jay laughed.

"Jay, you're so bad!" Haesoo said and ended up laughing too.

Haesoo tucked her head on his shoulder and laughed when he fastened his steps, running through the hallway.

"Let's skip the school," Jay muttered.

Haesoo was about to reply and lost her words when she spotted Sunghoon who was standing in the hallway, watching them in confusion.

Jay slowed his steps, holding Haesoo tighter.

Sunghoon fixed his eyes on her,

"Haesoo."

"Sunghoon..."
