The dresses is to blame for everything
Typical day in London, it was raining.
*Sight*
Britain was looking outside trough his window.
"Another boring day"
He took a sip of coffee he had in his hands and sat down on a couch.
He was in his living room, which was really big.
Alone.
Like always
He looked at the carpet, finely sewn, older than most of the countries.
He took a sip.
This loop continued until he was out of coffee. He leaved it in the kitchen and went to his room. Which was even bigger than the living room.
He stretched and went to dig his closet once again.
Phone was waiting him on his bed, he checked it and left it on the bed again.
He got out a nice dress,it was really dusty, but they got it out and tried it.
"Hhhm, doesn't look too bad"
They went to see if there was more,so they continued digging.
They put the dresses down on the bed and started trying them on.
A hour passed....
It was already lunch time and Britain went to his dinning room.
After the lunch on his way to his room he heard a notification.
He got a message.
"Who could it be?"
He sat on his bed and...
France?!
"What does that bitch want from me?!"
He opened the message.
Why did you call me?
"Call you?"
And really UK called France at exactly 11:27.
"What was I doing the-"
"Shit"
"The dresses"
Then he replied...
Nothing...Just an accident.
But France, ohh she got something other on her mind.
"How about I visit the old man."
Travel from France to UK wasn't too long or expensive. And she could kill her time of with UK, or just annoy him.
5pm, London
Still raining...
UK was cleaning his bookshelf, he found some good old books and immediately put them on the side.
"I'm going to read this later" he thought as he swoop dust off the book.
Then he heard a one of his maids opening the door.
"Who could it be?"
He went outside his room and looked at the stairs, when he saw who was climbing them, he immediately shut the door of his room. Person climbing stairs just gave him a smirk.
"No, no; Why is this happening to me??"
Britain thought, leaning on the door.
"Knock, knock" - person on the other side of the door said knocking on the door.
"Why did you for dear God's sake came HERE?"
"We didn't see each other in a while, didn't we? You don't have to be so dramatic Britain"
" Last person I thought I will be seeing today is you."
"You're so harsh Britain, just let me in-"
UK just sighted loudly but let the person in.
"I ask you once again why did you came here? "
France went and sat on his bed and UK just walked to her, not sitting with her. And just started mumbling which soon turned into words.
"France!?! Do you understand me?! Do I have to speak Polish?!?"
"Oh, I love how flustered you are right now.
I just wanted to come and see you."
"Me? Oh you must be joking.I called you today on accident, right. "
"Oh I know Britain, I'm not stupid"
"You look stupid"
Britain crossed his hands and finally sat on the bed, opposite of France.
"Look at you,old man. Hopelessly digging trought the dust, trought the past. Did you ever dig trought our past?I know you miss that."
UK started shaking a little.
"You just came here to tease me, right?"
"I know you still love me Britain"
"You know nothing. You're really stupid France, really stupid."
"I know you want some affection, I know you're touch starved. You can't hide it from me."
UK started breathing fast and he started shaking a little more.
"YOU KNOW NOTHING FRANCE, DON'T TEASE ME INTO YOUR LITTLE GAMES!"
UK looked like he would burst out crying every second now, but he didn't.
Britain's face turned red.l and he looked really upset. He dipped his head into the pillow. France just tilted her head a little. Watching him.
"I'm sorry."
"I really didn't came here to hurt your feelings. I just wanted to show you affection. I still love you Britain.
Im stupid.
Yeah, I'm stupid,
I thought all the time that you feel the same. You probably don't.
I understand."
"I'll leave now if-"
"No"
Britain grabbed France's hand before she sat up. He was now laying on old victorian dresses he wore that morning. A single tear runned down his cheek.
"Don't go please"
France blushed a little and sat down again.
" Sorry if I was an asshole, I- ugh"
"Some things you said are true, I still love you France, I'm touch starved and I'm an old man"
France giggled at his words.
Then France laid down next to him.
"I knew it"
France said
"I knew that you still love me, I know you for too long, you can't hide your emotions from me"
"I know I know, you're right"
UK said embarrassed. They looked at each other in silence.
UK moved his face nearer France's. France moved closer too. Britain's stroked his fingers trought France's hair and France put her hand in his partners. Their lips soon met. They kissed.
After they let go of each other,only emberassing silence left.
"Oh we should probably tidy up these dresses"
"Yeah, you're right"
They both got up and tidied up the dresses. UK was still blushing and thinking about what had just happened.
France had to go soon, they chatted a little and Britain escorted her to the door.
"I hope we will met up again,soon"
"Yeah I agree"
Before closing the door, France giggled.
"I guess we could blame dresses for everything, dresses is to blame for everything."
UK just giggled and waved her goodbye.
