After Cassie freaked out and ran out the locker room Patrick grabbed his stuff and ran out to the parking lot and saw her car was gone. He started worrying, Was she ok? Did he do something wrong and she was done trying it with him? When he got in his truck he got his phone from his pocket and scrolled til he found her number, he called it and it rung three times before going to voicemail. He waited for the Beep and left a message "Hey Cass please call me back I'm worried, and hey, I'm sorry for kissing you all of a sudden if this is what it's about, just please call me back" and he hung up. After he hung up he threw his phone onto the passenger seat. He knew he screwed up, he was pissed at himself cause he knew that it was his fault she isn't answering him. He puts his truck in drive and starts driving to his house
Cassies POV
When she ran out of the building and got in her car. She was crying by this point. She tears out of the parking lot, she heads to her house and her phone rings, she looks at it and sees Patrick's name and hits decline, she turns her phone off so he can't call again, when she finally gets home she walks into her house wiping tears from her eyes and slamming the door behind her. She sees Patrick's shirt on the floor by the couch when he stayed one night, she walked over to it and picked it up and threw it in the trash, she felt wrong for kissing him, all she wanted was a professional life, she promised herself before coming she wouldn't have a relationship with any of the players she knew it would be to much, now she's in love with the most popular man in Kansas City, with the most attention. The one thing she wanted was the most privacy she could get while being an NFL player.
Patrick's POV
He tried calling Cassies phone but it kept going to voicemail, on the way to his house he decides he wanted to go to her house and officially get it off his chest, she knew he loved her but he wanted to say to her face, I love you. So he turned his car around and went to her house. He got out in the driveway and knocked on the door

Cassie opened the door and saw him, she stepped out onto porch, tried to create small talk, "Hey Patrick" she said trying to act like she hasn't been crying, "Hey Cassie, are you ok?" He said, "yes I'm fine" she says, "This is awkward but I just wanna say I screwed up in the locker room, I knew you weren't ready but I still kissed you anyway, it's my fault" he said trying not to get to emotional, "it's ok, I just think we need time to figure out what we both want" she says holding tears back. She turns around to walk back inside and she hears Patrick muster up something, "I love you Cassie" she turns around and looks at him, "what?" "I love you Cass" he says emotionally. Cass turns around and leans in and kisses him, he picks her up and wraps her legs around his waist and carries her in, closing the door and locking it with one arm. He carries her into her room and closes the door to her room.
