This poem is about self love.

My heart is breaking,
My eyes crying for help.
I heard the pouring of the rain.
It reminded me of everything, including the pain.

When I was drowning,
Nobody dared to hold my hand.
It felt like I was suffocating inside,
With no one and nothing to hold on to.

Then I saw the sunset,
its bewitching shades of pink and orange.
It brought a smile to my face.
It gave me hope that I can stand on my own.

On my own,
A fulfilling duty I never have thought I'd do.
On my own,
I gave her the love she never had.

She,
With her gorgeous smile,
With her nonchalant connection from the world,
With her eyes that speak of so much longing for love and serenity.

She yearned for peace
and still keeps on yearning for it.
She has gone through a puzzle;
An impenetrable piece filled with words unsaid and words that tore her apart.

"The puzzle has too many patterns,"
she said to herself, looking in front of the mirror.
The puzzle contained too many people,
Including the ones who shattered her.

The puzzle never stops,
It's like a spiral which goes on-
Until there's nothing left of her,
For the puzzle has destroyed her altogether.

It was a sad, beautiful, tragic memory.
The puzzle may have destroyed her,
But she didn't bid goodbye.
She continued solving the pieces,
Until she felt like the pieces fit after years of figuring things out.

Months of reeling went on.
Days of feeling nothing occurred.
She's becoming fragile and there was no one who could ever save her,
But her.

And so she continued,
She fought,
And to this day,
I am she.
