"What do you mean?" I asked as I looked at the police.
"He died from falling down the stairs." Felix said.
The police looked semi apologetic.
"Yes, falling down the stairs was a part of why he died but... We believe he was also murdered." The police man told me.
"Is that why the house was boarded up?" Lily questioned.
The police nodded.

The police dismissed themselves.
We were in the hospital standing beside his corpse.

I really thought she was crazy for a second when she suggested for me to carry her.
I mean yes I suggested it but I was expecting her to deny it.
But I didn't mind...
I don't mind carrying athanasia.
It's not like she was heavy like some others.

"Hey Lucas." I heard the white dog behind me as I walked out of the hospital.
'Ugh! What does this white dog want...'
"What are you doing to athy." White dog spoke as if I was doing something wrong.
"why are you here?" I asked as I held athanasia in my arms and turned my head but not my body.
"I should be asking you that." Ijekiel said.
I gave him a 'Are you serious?' look.
"You and Jennette are dating. Don't think I didn't notice, you should be in there comforting her. Not seeing how another man's women is doing." I rebutted as I kept walking.
He flinched.
I stopped in my tracks and sighed.
"It's a no brainer that she likes you. Right now your thinking "I don't like her anymore then a sister" that maybe right. But when she stops seeing you as even a brother you'd notice how her annoyingness is something you would seek. Go inside, take care of her." I said not looking at him while I placed athanasia in the back of my car.
"And stop chasing after MY athanasia." I said turning around and looking at him before getting into my car.
I peeked at white dogs expression before I drove of and saw the look of pure shock.
I could tell he was going to be the type of person to only regret something when it's no longer there.
Athanasia was lying down on the back seats.
As I drove I looked at the rear mirror to check on athanasia.

"Hello?" I answered.
"How is she?" Mum's voice.
"Asleep." I replied.
"Such a poor thing..." Mum said.
"She'll be fine." I said.
"So... What happened?" Mum questioned.
"Apparently he was murdered..." I replied sighing.

"Really!?" Mums voice said.
I nodded forgetting that she can't see me...
"Yes."
"Who would do that?" Mum asked.
"Don't know."
"I'm coming home right now." I said.
"Okay. Mara is already asleep." Mum replied.
"Bye." I replied ending the call.

~Athanasia POV~
Thud.
I heard something.
I didn't open my eyes.
'It's probably my imagination or hallucination again...'

I felt something soft under me which meant I was at home.

At this point I started thinking.
My hallucination are usually of a car breaking or something along like that...
It didn't sound like footsteps....
I hesitantly opened my eyes.
I saw a black figure standing literally at the end of my bed.
I screamed.
Like one of those screams in the horror movies.
I saw how the figure quickly moved and literally jumped out my window.
I was in a sitting position as I hugged my legs with my blanket only covering my legs.
I heard a hurry of footsteps.
I heard someone on my light.
But I didn't look at them...
I was foucased on what was at the feet of my bed.
"Athanasia!"
"Lucas..." That's all I choked out as I stared at what was at the feet of my bed.

The smell of blood filled my nose.
"Sissy? What's wrong..." I saw Amaranth.
"Lucas, get mara out of here..." I looking at Lucas who was concerned.

"Just do what I say right now and get her out of here!" I screamed.
"Get her out..." I curled up into a ball and used my hands to cover my ears.

"Calm down athanasia, Kir just took Amaranth out of the room." Lucas said taking my hands away from my face.

"Don't touch it!" I yelled.
It was sir Ace who tried to touch it.
"Athanasia..." I felt Lucas wrap his arms around me in an attempt to calm me down.
"He's in there isn't he..." I mumbled.
Lucas understood my words.
"Let's get you out of here okay?" Lucas said in a whisper as he for the second time of today carried me.
I felt something soft under me.
"We are in my room." Lucas said before I said anything.
He set me down on his bed in a living down position.
"I'll stay right here okay... Relax... I'll be right here..." Lucas said as he lied down beside me .
"I'm being pathetic right now aren't I..." I mumbled.
"It's understandable... Just sleep." Lucas said.
I relaxed and fell asleep after a few seconds.

"What's inside...?" I asked hesitantly as I entered Athanasia's room.
I felt like I had a heart attack when I heard athanasia scream.
"We haven't opened it yet... I still don't think you should be here." Dad said to mum.
"How bad can it be?" Mum said.
"If you get tramatized you do notice it's my fault right?" Dad said.
"I'll be fine!" Mum shrugged.
