At MILLER's PALACE
Zane entered into his study room and he threw his wallet on the table , raised his glass of water and reclined tiredly against the back of the chair.
"It's wrong Zane !" .... ,, Chase followed him and he was against the idea of Zane's girlfriend Celina to stay with them in the MILLERs PALACE
Zane didn't answer immediately and looked at his elder brother.
In truth , his thoughts were running a bit slow. Everything was going out of his control.
Deep down , Zane knew Chase was right. At the end of the day , this was WAR.
A WELL PLANNED WAR . .
Set up by him and his brother Chase Daniel Miller and Celina , His fake girlfriend was the part of this war.
If Zane wanted to win , then of course he would do everything he could to attain a victory but he had his own plan to lured enemy out
"I think you are forgetting something here. You were the one who forced me to become the King" .... ,, Zane reminded Chase who narrowed his eyes and spoke "Yes ! I remember and it was for the safety of our family"
"But You lied to your in-laws".... ,, Zane didn't want to miss a chance to show the mirror to Chase of his own wrongdoing
"I don't think so. Nish has knowledge about my each actions and that's matter to me".... ,, Chase said straightly and Zane sighed
"I'm 'a good for nothing' king but you are the real king who is working hard behind the curtains" ..... ,, Zane's words fuelled Chase's anger and He growled lowly at Zane
"Don't talk nonsense. You are doing good and don't forget that It is important for us Zaney . You and Koohu both needs family support that's why I, Nish , Shaurya and Aarya created this facade to make both of you safe" ..... ,, Chase explained to him but ZANE was exhausted by this game and war
"Is she safe? No , she is wounded and currently facing so many things in her life" ..... ,, Zane argue back and Chase didn't answered him
Just like this, thinking about Arika gave him headache and the more Zane thought about INSANE , the more this strange mixture of pain grew in his chest.
"Zaney ! Tell me honestly , Are you really going to take her in our home ?" ..... ,, Chase furrowed his brows
"Nish will definitely chop you" .... ,, Chase spoke and grunted at the wrong steps of his younger brother
"Yes ! She will live with us and Don't worry . She is a bit stupid and too ambitious. While her talents are mediocre at best".... ,, Zane spoke and finished his water in one gulp . He saw Chase's face and sighed deeply
"Brother ! She is just a pawn and pawns are basically exists to protect the King" .... ,, Zane continue to speak as Chase listen to him quietly
"But Pawns are basically useless and she is powerless" .... ,, Chase murmured but Zane heard him and then said "But Pawns can be very useful. They always end up good as decoys and sacrifices"
"Are you sure about this ?" .... ,, Chase asked him again and Zane nodded his head "Yes !"
Zane smirked satisfyingly and Chase smiled demonically . .
"Eye for an eyes , blood for blood , life for a life. The DEMON has been out from my hide out. I lost my humanity but I don't regret it at all" ..... ,, Zane's words made Chase to think what happened between Him and Arika really wounded his manly ego
"Very well then I forgot to tell you that I came here to inform you that Dad requested Uncle Arjun to stay here with his family. Arika is discharged from the hospital means she will live here from now until she gets some clean checks from her doctor" ...... ,, Chase spoke straightly and out of the room while muttering under his breath
Zane didn't reply to Chase. He stood calmly and though about her. He stood up and stepped outside of the room and stood near the stairs while looking down at his family sitting together with KASHYAPs , KHANNAs , GREYs , and RATHOREs
Rudra's attention caught by Zane's drilling stares as their glazes clashed. There was a moment of silent that made Rudra to beat him into pulp .
Zane quickly averted his eyes and suddenly landed on the her.
Zane stopped walking and Arika made a mistake of looking up and making eye contact with him.
Once again , Arika felt frozen in place.
Pain in her wrist twitched .
She swallowed nervously.
Zane's Onyx eyes were the problem for her.
The way he was looking at her. She had not seen until now. Something about the way his deep eyes burner into her soul.
Arika couldn't face them but she also couldn't avoid them. She had no choice but to admit that as demonic as they were , they had a strong magnetism to them.
'Z !' .... ,, Ear piercing voice echoed in the silence room
Arika stared at Celina and the way her hand was tucking Zane's clothes . Celina was sitting on wheelchair with broken one hand and leg.
Celina looked hatefully at Arika and in return Arika only showed her poker face to Celina.
"She is my girlfriend Celina. She is going to stay with us. She got into an accident and i can't leave her in this condition" .... ,, Zane spoke
His voice was soft and each words were clear to the point that no one could ask him anything in return.
Celina smiled Triumphly. .
Arika had no expression in her face .

"Let's go Koohu ! I'll show you the room".... ,, Miracle (Carlos's daughter) suddenly got the signal of Nishma of take Arika away from the awkward situation and Miracle quickly held ARIKA's hands and supported her to the end of the room
Celina recorded everyone's expressions and words of Zane and was ready to report to her 'Boss'
In the middle of the night , Inside the dark room , only a pale yellow table lamp remained.
The night wind slowly brushed through the window's curtains and due to its deathly stillness , this dimly lit room seemed to be uninhabited.
Winter was approaching slowly as the bitter cold wind blew relentlessly , causing the shadows of the surrounding to trembled underneath the coldness.
The entire MILLERs PALACE was immersed in this biting chillness and gloominess of the situation
At this exact moment , A sharp pain went through ARIKA's head as if it was being split into two parts , and Arika let out a groan at that.
As ARIKA left her bed and sat down on the floor. She felt an ache go through her back and She winced
Opening her eyes completely , she captured her vision and took in the surrounding around her.
Arika collected herself and her memories and quietly left her in the search of her , Zane's girlfriend named 'Celina'
She took steady steps and taking help from her own instincts , she opened the room and entered into the room with soft steps
Celina was a pawn and she , herself knew this too and Celina had few reasons that why she was with Zane.
Firstly Zane was the Prince of his kingdom and then finally became The King and he hadn't any woman in his life. Also , He had quite a good reputation and name in the NY. Zane always showered money upon her.
Secondly , It was Celina's task to be with him and eyed at his every moment and words too and in return she always got heavy amount of money from her Boss too.
Thirdly , Celina started to like Zane and idea of being a girlfriend of the king made her to drawn different different expensive dreams enough to think herself as The Queen of MILLERs.

Celina gasped shockingly and then glared at Arika. Celina knew who Arika was and how Zane and Arika both stared too deeply into each other's eyes that sh never liked it
"Arika? What the hell are you doing in my room?" .... ,, Celina couldn't stop her voice and threw deadly glares at Arika
ARIKA's mouth curved sexily as her eyes stared up and down slowly slowly upon Celina's body .
