"Appa, do you know to drive the bike? " asked Mithra looking at her father cleaning his royal Enfield
Ashwin looked at her from behind the bike with a content smile. Even though it has become usual for him to hear them calling him 'Appa', still every single time it creates goose bumps, making him almost choke with happiness.
"Theriyum ma" he replied.
"Then, can you take me and Nethra for a drive? last evening when I went to park with thatha, I saw a girl going with her father in bike, I too want to" she said with her puppy eyes.
"Ayo, it is dangerous ma, you are too small to sit on a bike and I don't have a helmet for you" replied Ashwin.
Mithra came behind him and hugged his neck. "Please pa Please pa Please pa" she pleaded rubbing her cheek against his, making him melt completely.
"If you take me on a ride, I will tell you the nick name Amma uses for you, deal ah? " Mithra tried negotiating knowing her father's weakness by now.
"How about you tell me the nickname and we can all go to Ooty tomorrow by car and I will let you sit in front with me for sometime? " he negotiated back, pulling her from behind and sitting her on his lap.
Mithra looked above with her index finger on her chin, thinking and the replied "Ok, deal" she said fist bumping with her father.
"Ok now , the name?" asked Ashwin.
She curved her cute little fingers to a come action, requesting him to bend to her height "I have seen a few times, Amma looking at your photo and talking to it, addressing you as" she said loudly
'.......' " and whispered the name as a secret in his ears with a giggle.
"Appadiya? thanks for telling me da kutty ma, enakku idhukku munnadi indha matter theriyave theriyaadhu" replied Ashwin with a raised eyebrow and a surprised look, giving the victory to his daughter even though he very well knew that is how his future wife addresses him whenever her love for him overflows.
"Okay, byeeee, I am going to go and tell Nethra about the Ooty plan" said Mithra jumping down from her father's lap and running inside the house.
"Nethra, Thatha, paati, we are going to Ooty" squealed Mithra not only letting Nethra but the entire house know about the plan.
"What is Ooty?" asked Nethra who came there hearing her sister's squeal
"I have no idea, but Appa said we can go there on a drive and I can sit in front with him" Mithra said doing a small hip shake dance in happiness.
"Appa, not fair, how can you commit for something with only her? what about meeeee? " Nethra whined looking at Ashwin who came after Mithra.
"Sorry da kanna, first half of the journey, let her sit, second half you can, ok va" Ashwin asked really feeling guilty
"No, why does she get to to sit first? why not me?" Nethra whined again
"Because, in exchange I gave some important information to Appa " said Mithra proudly.
"Appadi enna ma important information? " asked Ashwin's mother who came there hearing the commotion, followed by her husband
"Ayo adhellaam onnum illa ma, Nethra, while returning from Ooty, you can sit in front first, deal ah? " asked Ashwin trying to stop Mithra from spilling further.
"Next to next Sunday kalyanam da, ippo edhukku indha Ooty trip ellaam?" asked Ashwin's mother with concern in her voice.
"Illa ma, past few days, months, yen years eh romba stressful ah irundhirkku, oru small trip poittu vandha, mind konjam relaxed aagum, just for one night, anga namma lake house la dhaan stay, vandha udane I will help with all the marriage works" said Ashwin.
"Seri da, paathu poitu vaanga, ennavo indha kalyanam nalla padiya mudinja dhaan enakku stress pogum" said Ashwin's mother.

"Enna dhideernu Ooty? " asked Sivaangi trying to help him pack for the trip.
"Chumma dhaan, ma adha appadiye vetchudu ma, naan pack pannikaren" Ashwin replied while stopping her from spoiling his packing.
"Appo naan enna pannatum" she asked with a pout
"Enakkaaga oru paatu paadriya? " he asked his eyes really yearning to hear her sing.
"Enna dhideernu? " Sivaangi asked with raised eyebrows.
"Dhideernu ellaam illa, I wanted to ask you this from the day we met again, but konjam hesitation, that it might remind you of a lost career" replied Ashwin.
"En ippo en career kku enna korachal Ashwin? I am a lecturer in one of the prestigious music college and I am not even 30 yet, I do lot of Katcheris for every occasion there. I am happy with my career choice Ashwin, ennoda love music thaan, andha age la the only way I knew how to cultivate it, is via playback singing, so I did that, but ippo, I not only sing, but groom young talents too in the field, what more I can ask for? Even after moving here, I am planning to take a break until all gossips, speculations and trolls die down and start a small music academy" said Sivaangi with a smile
Ashwin looked back at her astonished and proud.
"This is why I love you so much and searched for you day and night, to the moon and back. " he said kissing her on her forehead.
"Seri, enna paatu venum sollunga? " Sivaangi asked sitting on the bed with folded legs.
"Kozhandhainga enga?" he asked before answering her question.
"Rendu paatis and thathaas kooda pattu paavadai and some dress shopping poirkaanga" she replied.
"Appo namma rendu peru mattum dhaan irukkoma veetla? " Ashwin asked moving closer to her, his eyes conveying a message which made Sivaangi take a hard gulp.
"Aama, edhukku kekureenga?" she asked, her eyes to showing the same yearning she saw in his eyes.
"Illa, naan onnu ketpen, nee mattennu sollama othupiya? " he asked sitting next to her on the bed, pulling her closer that she almost fell on him.
"Hmmm " she croaked, her mind creating vivid images regarding what he might ask, making her stomach do a happy somersault.
"Mithra sonna adikadi en photo paathu edho koopuduviyaame, adha nerla kettu years aagiduchu, oru vaati solriya? " he asked almost whispering in her ears.
"Ennadhu? " Sivaangi asked back, her eyes closed, leaning against him, his hot breath against her cold neck made her forget everything.
"The name you used the very fist time for me when I danced for Desingu raja during 'Dancing Jodis', the name you used for me the first time you said 'I Love you', the name you used for me in your highest moment of passion" he said kissing her neck inch by inch making electricity flow inside her with highest volt.
"Manna!!! " she whispered, making him loose all his self control, but before anything could actually happen a knock on the door grounded all the electricity flowing within them making them come back to reality.
"Sollu Vasanth" Ashwin asked while Sivaangi too came behind him.
"Sir, madam paaka Akash nnu oruthar vandhirkaaru" he said hesitantly.
Ashwin immediately turned and looked at Sivaangi quizzically. She shrugged her shoulders with curved lips indicating she has no idea what he is doing here or how he came to know about the address.
"Seri Vasanth, make him sit in the study and be with him till madam gets there, and once she gets there, make sure they are not disturbed by any of our workers" said Ashwin looking at Vasanth who nodded his head and left.
"Ippo enna pannatum Ashwin, I can ask him to leave" said Sivaangi not knowing what to do and little bit scared that Ashwin might do something erratically.
"If we send him away, he is going to come back with some other excuse later, thankfully parents are not here now, nee poi ennanu kelu first then let us see, idhu un veedu, inga avanaala unna onnum panna mudiyaadhu, dheriyama poi pesittu vaa, paathukalaam" said Ashwin hugging her tight.
"I don't want to meet him alone, neeyum vaa Ashwineyy please" Sivaangi whined.
Both of them came down, Akash got up happily seeing Sivaangi, his face changed with disgust the moment he saw Ashwin coming behind her.
"Vaanga Akash, enna vishayama vandhirkeenga? " asked Ashwin showing his hand asking him to sit down.
"Sivaangi, I want to talk to you alone" replied Akash without looking at Ashwin
"Edhuva irundhaalum you can tell before Ashwin, after all he is going to be my husband in 12 days" Sivaangi replied holding Ashwin's hands.
"Theriyum, I got your resignation mail yesterday, that is why I got the next flight and came here" replied Akash.
"Wow! how sweet? engalukku wish panna ivalo dhooram vandhirkeengala? " Ashwin mocked turning Akash's face red with anger.
"Wish panna illada, unna ozhichukatta" snarled Akash in anger.
"Ayo Akash, please enough of this animosity, please leave the house before he literally throws you out" Sivaangi pleaded.
"Sure Sivaangi, I will leave right away but let me tell you just one thing" said Akash
"Seri sollu" Sivaangi said her voice showing the real frustration.
"Inga nikkaraare uthamaru, gentle man, nallavaru, vallavaru, unnoda varungaala purusharu, do you know what he had done? " Akash asked sarcastically.
"Nee ippo solla poriya? illa idhey maari dialogue pesi blade poda poriya? " Sivaangi asked rolling her eyes, but something inside Ashwin started twisting, the way Akash was standing indicated to him that he is having something very strong and Ashwin immediately knew what it would be. His face immediately turned from sarcasm and irritation to panic.
"Did you know that he was living with your sister Sivaathmika in his house for more than 6 months? " asked Akash stunning Sivaangi and making Ashwin go weak on his knees.
"What? enna olarra? " Sivaangi asked unable to comprehend what she just heard.
"Ennadhu naan ollarena? seri Sivaangi naan olarrennu vetchuko, ask Ashwin whether it is true or not? if he says it is a lie I will leave this house and your life immediately" said Akash
Sivaangi immediately looked at Ashwin, before he could actually spell out the words, his face gave her the answer that shook her.
"Ma, please adhu appadi illa listen to me" Ashwin pleaded, but Sivaangi started walking towards her room.
"Vasanth, send him away and never let him in this house again" Ashwin instructed and ran behind Sivaangi
