(We are in Unova once again)
Ash/Goh: what!
Goh: just why!
(Y/N): this is a scam. (We see him and his eevee on his shoulder playing with a reaper cloth from out his bag)
Ash: so where did the rumour about klinks final evolution "klingklangalangalang" come from anyway?
Man: it's this great little joke I came up with in order to help advertise my little shop.
(Y/N): (raises his fist) maybe I should give you a little advertising, it's called pain ball!
(Ash is holding (Y/N) back)
(Y/N): I could be looking for pawniard but instead we're looking at your scam!
Goh: and these drawings from witnesses?
Man: that's right, I drew those myself too. Look what I've got. How about a Unova favourite klink cookies, they're the perfect gift.
(Y/N): you are in trouble and I'm about to make it double! (Stops as he's realising who he's sounding like)
(Ash, Goh and (Y/N) look defeated as Eevee puts the reaper cloth over (Y/N)'s eyes and then takes it off and tries to surprise (Y/N) like playing peekaboo as (Y/N) has a small smile)
(Y/N): you sure love that reaper cloth don't ya (strokes eevee's head who enjoys it)
(Meanwhile with team rocket)
Jessie: (eating) so how come no one made sure it was real first and to think we came all the way over here to Unova.
Meowth: all I did was tell ya what I saw in the news. It was you who said we had to come.
James: will you two stop your bellyaching.
Jessie: I really wanted to catch a klingklangalangalangalangalang.
Meowth: to many alang, dig. It's klingklangalangalang
(They continue bickering)
James: it doesn't matter what it is, it's not real in the first place.
(With Chloe)
Chloe: amazing. Driftveil city's market. (We see eevee and ponyta walking next to her) hey did you find what you were looking for?
Goh: sort of.
Goh: you shopped?
Chloe: I sure did. I got a whole bunch.
Ash: so you're the only one who got something done.
Chloe: what's wrong with you?
(Y/N): fake news. Swindled by someone who delved deep and refined their craft in the realm of con art. It was all a load of rubbish.
(With team rocket)
James: oh come on.
(Meowth and Jessie are still not making up)
James: hey good news, over there! (Points) a treasure trope of twerps.
Jessie: they'd never come to a place like- (sees they're there) w-what do you know.
Meowth: I smell a great opportunity. Let's poach Pikachu.
(We see Pikachu eating a klink cookie)
Chloe POV
Ash: these klink cookies are really good.
Goh: alright, I came to Unova for these cookies. I came to Unova for these cookies.
Chloe thoughts: he's trying to convince himself.
(She looks at (Y/N) blushing slightly but she has something on her mind)
Chloe: hey (Y/N), how come you haven't caught anymore Pokémon?
(Y/N): it wouldn't feel right without pawniard.
Chloe: really? I think the opposite.
(Y/N): the opposite? (Realises) oh you're right! I could surprise pawniard with some new friends when we meet again!
Chloe: exactly.
(Y/N): in that case, today I shall catch some Pokémon! Thanks Chloe you're the best!
(He rushes off as we see him throw a pokeball and catch a pansear as we see him throwing a pokeball at a ducklett which breaks out)
(We then see toxel battling the ducklett as toxel takes a bubble beam with ease and dodges an air slash as ducklett dodges toxel's nuzzle and flail but is hit by acid as ducklett uses rain dance as it becomes rainy as ducklett then evolves into swanna and goes to use roost as we cut to the current point in the battle)
(Y/N): a battle of attrition is not our strong suit so use nuzzle!
(Toxel uses nuzzle paralysing swanna before it uses roost as (Y/N) throws a pokeball and catches it as it hits swanna and the ball shakes three times and pings)
(Y/N)) another catch let's go! (Let's head back he returns toxel and rushes back)
(Timeskip)
(Y/N): I'm back!
Ash: hey!
Goh: good to see you in high spirits once again!
(We see Chloe looking at (Y/N) and while she doesn't say anything she does have a huge smile on her face)
(Meanwhile eevee and grookey are looking in a hole)
Goh: hey grookey what's going on?
(They all walk over to the hole)
Chloe: what's that supposed to be?
Goh: construction? No that doesn't make sense.
Ash: it looks really deep.
(Y/N): wait we're in Unova so if it's a Pokémon, that lives underground and dig holes... ohhhhh.
(Then eevee and grookey jump down)
Ash: oh no this is bad!
Goh: oh no grookey stop!
Chloe: eevee no! Eevee!
Goh: we've gotta go too.
(Chloe nods)
Ash: let's move.
(Y/N): guys we need to be careful.
(They look at him)
(Y/N): if it's what I think it is they travel in large groups so we need to be careful not to get outmatched by their sheer numbers.
(They look confused at first but have no time think about it as Ash goes down the hole as the rest follow as team rocket get to the hole)
James: they went down that hole.
Jessie: they won't get away, come on.
James: hold it (stops her) wouldn't it be better to wait for when they come back out..
Jessie: out here? Hmmm... I've got it!
(We then see wobbufett by the hole with a net)
Meowth: wobbufett you stand guard in case Pikachu comes out before us!
Jessie: ugh! Just catch it in the net!
(Wobbufett salutes)
Jessie: chasing them is job 1!
(She hops down)
Jam: right. (Follows her in)
Meowth: chill out (hops in the hole too)
(Meanwhile in the hole we see Pikachu and the gang as they call out for eevee and grookey they wait momentarily when they hear grookey and eevee)
Ash: this way.
(They rush off as they see them)
Goh: there you are!
Chloe: thank goodness.
Ash: what's with these tunnels?
Goh: it's like something you'd find in a maze.
Jessie: their twerpish guards are down, let's start the stealing. Hyper capture machine power on. Huh?
Meowth: you stepped on that machine and broke it remember.
Jessie: come on didn't you say you fixed that thing, we can't steal Pikachu without it!
Meowth: the whole thing's your fault!
Jessie: why my fault!
Meowth: why not!
James: can't we all just play nice. (A pokeball falls out his pocket as it opens to reveal morpeko who is hangry as team rocket freak out)
Jessie: Morpeko!
Meowth: and it wants a jukbo feed bag!
James: shhh! If we talk too loud we're busted.
Ash: yeah by who.
(They turn around to see the twerps looking at them)
Ash: alright, what are you three doing here?
Goh: probably plotting something again.
(Y/N): and fail again.
James: (loudly) you see! We're busted!
Jessie: since that's the case, we'll just use force! (Uses a smoke bomb and blinds everyone)
Ash: heads up Pikachu!
(Pikachu goes the other way)
Chloe: eevee where are you?
(They're looking around but can't find each other)
James: who can breathe in all this smoke.
Jessie: let's find Pikachu and ditch these dorks!
Goh: grookey don't head too far away!
(Y/N): when I see you three again you're toast!
Meowth: I think I just bumped into something (gets knocked)
(The smoke clears)
Ash: what's wrong with them? Hey Pikachu, are you alright?
(Turns around to see the Pikachu clone, which is morpeko)
Ash: morpeko!
(With Jessie and James)
Jessie: yippee! Pikachu is well in hand!
James: I like a working plan!
(We see James carrying a sack with something in it as they hear something and open the sack to see eevee)
Jessie/James: what!
Jessie: you're no Pikachu!
(With Goh)
Goh: I'm worried. Where could grookey be? (We see he's with Pikachu) not to mention we all got sepereted.
(With Chloe)
Chloe: (she sees ponyta) ponyta I'm so glad you're safe! (Hugs her Pokémon as she sees her eevee is missing) eevee? Eevee!
Chloe: eevee!
Meowth: I don't think it's around here.
Chloe: (turns around) Meowth?
(With (Y/N))
(Y/N): eevee double kick.
(We see his eevee is sent out as it double kicks a nearby durant as it turns around looking angry at him only to be hit by a pokeball which shakes and pings three times meaning he's caught it)
(Y/N): that's another new friend.
(He then sees another durant run off scared as grookey begins leaving)
(Y/N): wait up grookey!
(They head off in a direction not noticing the many Durants walking along behind them)
(With Ash)
Ash: hello? Hey (Y/N)? Goh? Chloe? Pikachu? It really is like a maze, where is everybody?
(We see morpeko is hangry)
Ash: are you hungry again! I just gave you a klink cookie didn't I!
(Morpeko is angry and demanding more)
Ash: I'll give you another one. Just one.
(He holds out the klink cookie as morpeko snatches it and scoffs it down)
Ash: I think I'll be in trouble when the cookies run out.
(With Goh)
Goh: (sighs) another fork in the road. should I go to the left this time? Pikachu, keep track of where we've been- (sees Pikachu isn't next to him) Pikachu? Pikachu? (Finds Pikachu and gets in first of it causing it to stop) hold on stop Pikachu! You're not alone. If you do this by yourself you'll wind up getting lost. Let's see how many turns have we made so far. Left, right, left, left, right, right, left, right (loses track as Pikachu continues walking away) stop! Ew (holds his nose) something smells.
(With Chloe)
Chloe: eevee! If you hear me answer! (Stops as she looks at Meowth) why are you following me?
Meowth: there's only one path so what do you think.
Chloe: (sighs) okay. Can you tell me something. Team rocket steals other people's Pokémon, right. Why do you do that?
Meowth: we're an evil organisation and we've got orders to steal Pokémon, dig! (Stamps his foot on the ground as sand falls onto his face)
Chloe: are... you alright?
(Meowth coughs up sand)
Chloe: oh you're covered in dirt. (She reaches into her pocket) stay still for a second.
(Ponyta gets ready if Meowth tries something shady)
Chloe: it's okay ponyta.
Meowth: (blushing) wow, thanks a lot.
Meowth POV
Meowth thoughts: she's so nice. Jessie wouldn't do that sort of thing even if ya paid her.
Chloe: huh? Do you smell some?
Meowth: yeah and it stinks.
(Next a trubbish leaps out at them)
Meowth: look out!
(Meowth hits trubbish with fury swipes causing trubbish to run away)
Meowth: everything's cool now.
Chloe: thank you so much.
Chloe POV
Chloe thoughts: did I just get saved? Maybe Meowth isn't so bad after all.
(With team rocket)
Jessie: the twerps aren't around nor Pikachu and we don't know how to get out.
James: hey eevee, do you have any idea where the exit is.
(Eevee raises an ear and talks)
James: we need a translator. If only Meowth was here.
Jessie: or not. We'd be in the same pickle with Meowth or without.
James: perish the thought Jess. Meowth's one of us.
Jessie: I got it. Why don't we make this eevee an official member of team rocket.
James: perhaps. If eevee joined our team we could spy on the twerps and they'll never know.
Jessie: see! Another great idea! Now that that's decided we'll fill your fluffy head with team rocket evil thinking. You'll be up to the brim with team rocket vigour and vim.
(Eevee has its usual happy expression not knowing what's going on)
(With (Y/N) and grookey they reach a hole as they feel something)
(Y/N): that feels like wind. It's this way grookey!
(They head up)
(With Goh)
Goh: I wonder if grookey has teamed up with anyone, it was with team rocket way back when. I hope they haven't captured it again.
(Pikachu rushes ahead as Goh follows as they're each this sewer with brown water)
Goh: looks like a sewer, this is where that smell is coming from. The sewer has to be connected to the outside, it has to.
(Pikachu runs off ahead again)
Goh: again. (Chases after it) wait up Pikachu! We've got to think where we're going or we'll never get out.
(Suddenly water erupts as a seismotoad emerges and fires a gastro acid as they dodge)
Goh: that's!-
Rotom phone: seismitoad, the vibration Pokémon, a water/ground type. Seismitoad vibrates the bumps on it's body to create earthquake like shaking.
Goh: Pikachu quick use iron-
(Pikachu jumps up and uses thunderbolt but it does nothing as seismitoad retaliates with bubble beam hitting Pikachu)
Goh: Pikachu!
(Pikachu gets ready to use thunderbolt)
Goh: no! Electric type attacks won't work on seismitoad.
(Pikachu stops)
Goh: but iron tail will!
(Pikachu uses iron tail nailing seismitoad on the head)
Goh: this is perfect. (Readies pokeball) I'll catch it.
(However Pikachu hits seismitoad with another iron tail knocking it into the water as it swims away)
Goh: aww too bad. I didn't want that to happen.
(Goh looks at Pikachu)
Goh thoughts: that feeling like... I'm playing second fiddle. It reminds me of...
Goh: of course! It reminds me of Ash! I guess Pokémon do end up taking after their trainers.
(With Ash)
Ash: I'm not going to let you eat all of it! I'm pretty hungry myself, you know that! (We see them fighting over the bag of klink cookies) that's what you want! (They both take a bite of a klink cookie) I'm going to eat them before you do.
(With Chloe)
(We see ponyta keeping an eye on Meowth to see if he's gonna pull anything)
Chloe: how is it you can talk like a human?
Meowth: well ya see. A long time ago I really liked someone so I learned the language.
Chloe: oh. Really. Tell me what it is that makes you like someone
Meowth: what makes me like someone? I guess... you could say I like niceness.
Chloe: well what do you know but if you'd like others to treat you nicely then you've got to treat them nicely too.
Meowth: yeah? That makes sense.
Chloe: why don't you give up doing bag things?
Meow: HUH!
Chloe: wait you were caught by team rocket that explains it.
Meowth: nope. I've not been caught.
Chloe: you're kidding but aren't they your friends?
Meowth: those lugs aren't my friend. Jessie works this poor Pokémon to the point of exhaustion. She's just awful.
Chloe: (holds Meowth's hands) you shouldn't talk like that. Bad mouthing is wrong even if it's about bad people, if you two had a fight you gotta make up.
Meowth: huh.
Meowth POV
Meowth thoughts: this twerp is a beacon of brilliance. There's only one thing left for me to do. I'm gonna quit team rocket and let her catch me without a fight. That's right.
(With team rocket)
Jessie: Jessie
James: and James
Jessie: team rocket blasts off at the speed of light
James: surrender now or prepare for a rip roaring fight.
Meowth: (does his typical backflip) Meowth, that's right.
Wobbufett: wobb-
(It's interrupted as we see it's a video they have and they've paused it)
Jessie: you see that. The "that's right " is gonna be your part, get it.
James: denouncing truth and love is important to our self introductions you see. Timing is everything.
(Eevee nods)
Jessie: now it's time to practice.
Jessie: Jessie
James: and James.
Jessie: team rocket blast off at the speed of light.
James: surrender now or prepare for a furry fight.
(Eevee backflips in like Meowth and says the line, not like we can understand it)
James: not bad.
Jessie: I'm impressed.
James: are you really sure about this? Using eevee instead of our ol' chum?
Jessie: sure, it's perfect. Hey let's practice once more eevee weevee.
(With (Y/N) and grookey)
(Y/N): I think we're almost there! (Sees loads of durant walking nearby) oh god that's way more than I thought there was. That's about 50? No there's more! (They have all now disappeared into a tunnel going elsewhere)
(They go up as they see a light at the end of the tunnel as grookey leaps out to be caught in a net by wobbufett)
(Wobbufett then sees it's grookey and not Pikachu and shakes grookey out the net as it gets back to waiting as grookey gets a bright spark idea to take the net from wobbufett and chase it around with it and running away and for wobbufett fo chase after it)
(Y/N): eevee, we'll need to help the others if they get surrounded by all them durant.
((Y/N) sees something)
(Y/N): (grins) perfect. All by itself too.
(Y/N): let's try out our new friend. Go durant!
(Sends out durant)
(Y/N): now durant will definitely grab it's attention
(With Goh and Pikachu)
Goh: something's up there! Maybe it's Ash and the gang. Let's go!
(They rush into it as they find a bunch of holes dug out)
Goh: ah!
(They see it's durant)
Rotom phone: durant, the iron ant Pokémon, a bug/steel type. Durant possesses tough armour and huge mandibles. It creates a maze like nest which it protects it in groups.
Goh: so these tunnels must be apart of durant's nest.
(Durant walks towards them to attack)
Goh: Pikachu use electroweb.
(Pikachu uses electroweb which traps durant but more appear)
Goh: uh oh! We're outta here! (Grabs Pikachu and runs)
(With Ash and morpeko as they're still fighting as Ash raises the bag so morpeko can't reach it)
Ash: you can't have it, see!
(Morpeko tries to reach but lots of durant appear out the holes)
Ash: they're durant! (To morpeko) hey look around you! This is no time for a fight (Morpeko still tries) will you knock it off.
(Ash gets an idea as he gets up and waves of about)
Ash: there's no way you're going to get this!
(Morpeko gets angry and uses stomping tantrum as Ash is kicked to the ground but so are all of the durant)
Ash: man that hurts. It's also pretty great. Now's our chance! (Carrying morpeko and running)
(With Meowth and Chloe)
Meowth thoughts: what a lovely stone. I'll give it to her and tell her I want her to catch me.
(Meowth gets up and hides it behind his back)
Meowth: uhhhh.
Chloe: uh, what's up?
Meowth: (blushing) weeellll. It's just that (holds out the stone) would you please-
(He's interrupted as a durant appears from below him as they also begin to get surrounded as ponyta uses psybeam on one but it doesn't do too much)
Meowth : psychic type moves won't do much against a bug type like durant, dig.
(Chloe runs while dragging Meowth along with her as ponyta runs along side her)
(With team rocket and eevee)
Jessie: what's with these crazy things!
James: whatever just run!
(We see grookey running and wobbufett behind him as (Y/N) is behind them)
(Y/N): wait up!
(They suddenly stop as grookey looks as it nets the head of a heatmor as it angrily turns around and two more appear as wobbufett and grookey begin running with wobbufett carrying grookey as (Y/N catches up to them and begins carrying them both
(Y/N): good damn it you two! Every time! (Realises) wait this is perfect!
(Sees the heatmor are chasing them which he grins too)
(Meanwhile the lost groups in the tunnels meet back up as they all hug each other)
Meowth: oh man, oh man.
Jessie: so you were alright. Not that I really care at all.
James: Jess, come on!
Meowth: those are my lines.
(Ash and Goh handshake)
Goh: hold on, where's grookey?
(They stop as they see he massive hordes of durant heading their way as team rocket are scared as they seem them and get more scared when they see hangry morpeko)
Ash: let's give it all we got. You ready buddy? (Pikachu jumps down)
Goh: so where did grookey go off to?
(They hear grookey as they see wobbufett, grookey and (Y/N))
Goh: there you are!
James: what?
Jessie: with wobbufett?
(Y/N): watch out! The cavalry is here!
(They see the three heatmor)
Goh: what are those?
Rotom phone: heatmor, the anteater Pokémon, a fire type. It uses it's fiery tongue to attack durant who is it's natural enemy.
(We see the heatmor attack)
(Y/N): let's help them out! Go! (Sends out eevee and his own heatmor)
(Y/N): eevee double kick! Heatmor fire lash!
(The heatmor along with (Y/N)'s heatmor and eevee charge in as do the durant as there is a big brawl)
Chloe: hold on. Doesn't that mean we can escape now.
Ash: she's right!
James: we should get out too!
(They all make a real for it except for (Y/N))
Chloe: come on!
(Y/N): I'm staying. I'll see this through to the end. Remember, I may have eased up but I'm still keeping my promise to never abandon or give up on any of my Pokémon, even if they are brand new. I'll be fine, you guys make it to the top. I'll be with ya shortly. (Grins)
(Chloe is at first conflicted until she sees the grin on his face and blushes as she can feel the very aura he's giving off and it's just like he was before pawniard left, the old attitude of (Y/N) who was reckless but smart and oozing confidence and the new attitude of (Y/N) who wasn't as confident as it didn't ooze off him and overall a big piece of himself gone with it too, these two people seemed to have fused to create an equilibrium of the two as while he's being reckless he is being composed all the while he's got his original confidence back about it as she nods and continues running)
(Y/N): I haven't felt like this in a long time. (Grins) seems I'm finding and completing myself once again and it's thanks to Chloe for that talk. (His grin gets even bigger) okay eevee and heatmor we'll put all our backs into it!
(Meanwhile they all make it out the hole)
Ash: we made it.
Goh: (sees a scared durant) what are you doing here?
Ash: it must have run away too.
Goh: okay. Would you like to come with me?
(Durant shows it wants to be caught)
Goh: alright pokeball go!
(He throws the pokeball as durant is hit by it and goes inside as the pokeball shakes three times and pings meaning he's caught it)
Rotom phone: durant has been registered to your Pokédex.
Goh: I just caught a durant!
(Eevee backflips like Meowth)
Chloe: (giggles) who are you copying.
Meowth POV
Meowth thoughts: if I want to tell her how I feel, I better do it now!
Meowth: (closes his eyes and holds the stone out as he's blushing) uhhh.... I love you! Please, please tell me you'll be my friend! Pretty please!
Jessie: please, after all this time?
Meowth: huh?
Jessie: (takes the stone) but you know we've already been friends from the start haven't we.
(James is crying and nodding)
James: that's so true!
Meowth: (crying and heartbroken) wait. That wasn't-
Chloe: I'm glad you made up with your friends.
(We see Meowth crying as he looks at Chloe as morpeko is sparking with electricity)
Goh: what's going on?
Ash: it's that way when it's really hungry. Isn't that right morpeko. Here's a cookie (reaches into the bag) uh oh... I guess I dropped them.
Goh/Chloe/Jessie/James/Meowth: what!
Jessie: James do something and do something quick!
James: right! Morpeko return now.
(He gets the pokeball but Morpeko uses aura wheel and hits team rocket sending them blasting off again)
Jessie/James/Meowth: we're blasting off again!
(Meanwhile Ash, Goh and Chloe are sent blasting off another direction)
Chloe: wait we forgot (Y/N)!
(Speak of the devil (Y/N) comes out the hole with the heatmor)
(Y/N): thanks for the help, here let me get that (gets net off heatmor's head as it looks happy as (Y/N) rubs the top of it's head) huh? Where did everyone go?
(Timeskip: getting to the evening as the sun is setting)
Ash: we went through a lot but it was fun, right.
Goh: yeah sure was and we got to catch a durant.
(Y/N): yeah and I got a heatmor and three more friends making four new friends for pawniard to meet.
(With team rocket as they're in a tree as morpeko is eating food at the bottom and Meowth is staring off at the setting sun)
Meowth POV
Meowth thoughts: man, she was so nice.
(Elsewhere we see kricketune point somewhere as pawniard nods and goes to meet a Pokémon in the location kricketune told it)
(Timeskip: we see pawniard reach their as form the skies comes down a Pokémon and as the dust clears we see it's a staraptor as pawniard has met the master of elegance and technique, now we go to the lord of the skies of this area, master of speed, staraptor)
(We see them fighting as pawniard can't hit staraptor as it's too fast for it as it remembers it's trainers words and kricketune's training and closes it's eyes and focuses and as staraptor goes to strike and fly by pawniard strikes just reacting fast enough to hit staraptor, more like a graze as pawniard gets knocked back before the battling is over and we go to the next part of as pawniard is on staraptor as they ascend to the skies as staraptor flies high and at high speeds and pawniard has to hold on as long and best it can and as it falls and can't take much more staraptor flies and catches it and they start again)
(Timeskip: we then cut to pawniard blocking fast air slashes better and then staraptor grabs it with one of it's talons and flies at high speeds as pawniard is able to withstand it and manage to ground itself by digging one of its sword like things into a tree and holding on and breaking free from staraptor's grip)
