And now we are onto Chapter 4! I've been getting a lot of good feedback on this story so I'm very excited. I may even have to start updating more ;)
The song for this chapter is of course over there --------->>>>>>>>>
I do not own this song or the lyrics.

***RECAP***
Cole's POV
Ms. Carver started assigning seats. In the front on the right she placed Nate and Jake. Jake gave me a look of pure hatred. I gave him a thumbs up. And at the back on the left she placed me and Sam.
Perfect. As far away from Nate as possible. I looked at Sam to see that she had turned pale and was constantly pulling her long red hair behind her ear, which I knew to be a sign of stress or nervousness.
Did she really hate me so much?

3 weeks later things were improving.
Nate hadn’t been christened a Freak, even though he only hung out with me and Jesse, and occasionally Oliver, when he wasn’t being an ass.
I don’t think people knew where to put him. He hung out with The Freaks, he was a Choir Freak, and he had already made enemies with most of the Populars. But he was also hot, so naturally nobody knew what to do with him.
Also an improvement: people were starting to talk to me and Jesse. I mean before everyone ignored us and wouldn’t be caught dead in our presence.
But now Losers, Freaks, and sometimes even Nobodies were courageously waltzing up to us. I was extremely pleased. We were starting to disrupt the order of this horrible school.
And another improvement: Cole sat next to me in Chemistry.
I know I know. He’s a jerk! Why are you happy?
Well maybe I still had feelings for him. Just a little. He still hasn’t talked to me unless it was required. He kept shooting me secret glances though, like he was nervous.
But I’m probably just imagining things. Again.
Anyways after school I was walking to the Choir room. I didn’t have a piano in my house unfortunately, and I was dying to practice. But as I walked down the hall, I heard music. I followed the sound to the Choir room.
Poking my head in, I immediately noticed a difference about the room. All of the chairs had been stacked and put against a wall, and the grand piano had been pushed into a corner.
A girl with her long golden hair in a ponytail was dancing in the middle of the room, to something that sounded like Love Song by Sara Bareilles. She spun around and I gasped.
It was Molly!
I watched with my mouth open as she performed some complicated dance routine. It was beautiful! She finished and I clapped loudly completely astounded. I couldn’t help it. She was awesome. After all, even though she was a Popular, she had never been mean to me.
She turned around and looked at me with wide blue eyes and blushed.
“I know. I’m terrible. No need to make fun of me,” she said shyly, turning off the music.
“No!” I protested. “You were awesome! I couldn’t stop watching!” She blushed even harder.
“I don’t usually let anyone see me, Sam,” she explained. “I’m not too good in front of crowds.”
“If you learn to tackle that fear than you’ll be famous,” I promised her. She laughed and looked sadly at her iPod dock.
“I’ve been trying to get this routine down, but I can’t find just the piano with the vocals for Love Song by Sara Bareilles! It’s so frustrating!” she complained. I smiled.
“I can help with that,” I said walking over to the piano. I squeezed onto the bench with some difficulty since it was pressed so close to the wall and said, “Ready?”
“What are you doing?” she asked curiously.
“Oh just dance,” I said grinning. I began playing.
Head under water
And they tell me to breathe easy for a while
The breathing gets harder, even I know that
You made room for me, but it's too soon to see
If I'm happy in your hands
I'm unusually hard to hold on to
Blank stares at blank pages
No easy way to say this
You mean well, but you make this hard on me
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'Cause you asked for it
'Cause you need one, you see
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'Cause you tell me it's make or breaking this
If you're on your way
I'm not gonna write you to stay
If all you have is leaving
I'mma need a better reason to write you a love song today
Today
I learned the hard way
That they all say things you want to hear
My heavy heart sinks deep down under you
And your twisted words, your help just hurts
You are not what I thought you were
Hello to high and dry
Convinced me to please you
Made me think that I need this too
I'm trying to let you hear me as I am
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'Cause you asked for it
'Cause you need one, you see
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'Cause you tell me it's make or breaking this
If you're on your way,
I'm not gonna write you to stay
If all you have is leaving
I'mma need a better reason to write you a love song today
Promise me you'll leave the light on
To help me see with daylight, my guide, gone
'Cause I believe there's a way you can love me because I say
I won't write you a love song
'Cause you asked for it
'Cause you need one, you see
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'Cause you tell me it's make or breaking this
Is that why you wanted a love song
'Cause you asked for it?
'Cause you need one, you see
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'Cause you tell me it's make or breaking this
If you're on your way
I'm not gonna write you to stay
If your heart is nowhere in it
I don't want it for a minute
Babe, I'll walk the seven seas when I believe that there's a reason to
Write you a love song today
Today
I finished just before Molly did. She looked at me stunned.
“You’re amazing!” she exclaimed. I beamed.
“Thanks!” I said grinning so much that my face should fall off. We talked for a few minutes and then I left, saying that I had to do my homework.
That song had jogged something in my mind. I had to be sure that I was right.
I ran into the house, saying yelling at Oliver that I was home, and ran upstairs to my room.
I got on my laptop and pulled up Youtube. I typed ‘15 year old boy singing love song’ into the search bar and watched astounded as a bunch of results popped up. I hesitantly clicked on the first one and it began to play.
I was right.
There was Nate. As a 15 year old playing Love Song on Youtube. I knew I had heard him from somewhere! My friend Christine had shown me this video ages ago!I grinned happily and scrolled down. Looking through the comments when I saw one that stopped me:
Hey Nate! You're amazing! I love listening to you! Congratulations on getting that record deal! You of all people deserve it.
………………...............................
Record deal!?

Ooooh suspense! Did Nate get a record deal? Is he famous? Cliffhangers are just wonderful aren't they :)
What do you guys think of Molly? Is she planning something or is she actually nice?
Oh well. Guess you guys will just have to wait and find out!
I love you guys! Thanks for reading!
