I open the door and walk in.
"Mom? Dad? Are y'all in here?" I yell.
I walk into the lounge room and scream.
My parents are on the floor with blood all around them!!!
"MOM, DAD!!!" I scream. Finnick realizes what happened.
I drop to my knees right beside their bodies. I cry and scream.
Finnick looks at the bodies.
Who did this?! Why did this happen?! What happened while I was gone?!! These questions flood my head.
"Annie I'm so sorry this happened," Finnick tells me.
I stand up and wrap my arms around him and cry into his chest. He holds me in his arms as I soak his shirt with my tears.
Finnick rubs my back; trying to calm me down.
I start having a panic attack. It gets harder to breath. My vision blurs.
Everything goes black.
Finnick's POV
"Annie?" I ask, feeling her go slack in my arms.
I look at her and see that she has blacked out.
I decide to get her out of the house now while she can't fight back.
I take her to her new house. I lay her on the couch in the living room and stay with her.
Poor Annie. She just won the games, got PTSD, and now her parents are dead.
She doesn't deserve any of this. She didn't deserve to be in the games, get PTSD, and she didn't deserve to have her parents die.
This is all my fault! If only I would have done what Snow told me to do non of this would have happened.
I see Annie start squirming and then she starts screaming.
"Annie hey shh it's ok! You're safe," I tell her.
I grab her and hold her.
She keeps screaming as tears roll down her cheeks.
"Annie calm down. You're safe. You're no longer in the arena," I tell her.
When she opens her eyes she looks around; confused.
Annie's POV
"What's going on?" I ask when I see Finnick.
"You don't remember what happened do you?" He asks me.
"What? Last thing I remember is winning the games," I tell him.
Finnick sighs.
"What happened, Finnick?!" I ask him.
"Annie there's no easy way to tell you this but you're parents...well they're gone," he tells me.
I sit there in shock. I don't say anything...I don't want to talk. I just want to curl up into a ball and die.
