Sado managed to claw her way out, many other tentacles shoot towards her and she ducked them all after slicing through them. Oxias' giant pet plant shrieked each time she cut its tentacles. Phineas and Marcus tried to force their way into the room unsuccessfully, the plants had sealed the door and jammed it.

Sado grinned from ear to ear, "Is that all you've got? Well, I'll kill all of them, without exception." She darted towards him with her claws set out, to her greatest surprise he stayed put awaiting her attack. Her suspicion came too late.

When she was inches away from him she was grabbed by even thicker tentacles which wrapped her like a sack up to her throat and squeezed. The plant once again brought her to its mouth opening wide with sharp teeth.

He enjoyed the sight, finally, he got to experience someone's death again after so long.

Sado managed to look at him with gritted teeth as her death approached, to her greatest surprise the plant closed its mouth. Marcus finally barged in with Phineas.

"Sado!" He cried out before grabbing his wand from his pocket. He waved it in the air and all the plants crumbled to dust. Oxias watched in horror, his months of works dying to dust. The huge morning glory slowly began to fade into dust. He rushed to it and attempted to grab it but only grabbed dust.

Sado fell to the ground watching the boy ball his fist with his eyes squeezed shut and his teeth baring.

"Enough of those dangerous plants. And how the fuck could he use his powers I thought it was bind or so." Marcus spoke to Sado totally ignoring him. When Oxias looked his way his right eye burned with flames, immediately his bracelet began to glow burning into his skin.

Marcus took a step back, so did Phineas and Sado in bewilderment as Oxias took off from the bed covered with flames. It doesn't last long, as the bracelet performed the sole task for which they were created. Hold him captive.

They ache the pain into him and his mind lost focus to such tremendous agony. And he hit the bed almost unconsciously. Marcus was quick to cast a spell, Oxias knew each letter of the spell he pronounced, they weren't as correct and accurate as his mother's they had an almost similar effect.

Heavy silvery chains grew from the walls attaching to his feet even when he tried to prevent it. Marcus approached the bed where Oxias was grabbing the chain and tried to reap them off.

Marcus folded his hands behind his back. "You brought this upon yourself, you'll be chained to this room all weekend," he said.

Oxias looked up at him, his gaze met Sado's instead, all the ego and arrogance all gone giving way for a glimpse to his soul, there she saw despair and horror. She turned around quickly and made her way out, Marcus followed just after, and Phineas lastly.

Oxias kept pulling on the chain as he heard her voice in the atmosphere, he could smell her like she was in the room, once again, he was in those cursed chains. The ones which held him down for years.

He squeezed the sheet under him with all his might as a furious scream left his lips.

*In the palace

"Not good-looking," Bo muttered as he looked in the mirror with four frames.

"What is not good?" Ho approached Bo with his gaze on the glass.

So looked up from his piles of sheets with complaints. "The Orchadians, are being held by the magical border for now, and it will buy us enough time to sort things out, I can't see what the emergency might be."

"I thought the bracelet was made to hold back King Oxias' powers," Bo said, these brought So, Vo and Xo to the mirror.

"Exactly, what happened?" Vo asked.

"He also killed the rogue with his plants," Bo responded.

Vo rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"Ah! Don't tell me he managed to overcome the bracelet!" Xo boomed.

"It's impossible, we used all our powers on that, and we could have felt it if the bracelet hit the ground." So intervened.

"So how did he manage to use his powers?" Ho demanded in confusion.

"What power? He could control flames that I know and magic, but he didn't have any power to control plants. It is an elven gift." Ko stepped in.

"You have a point there." Vo said softly, "we made the bracelet to hold back his powers not to stop his new powers." He explained calmly.

"Then if he has a new power does it mean he would be able to perform?" So asked.

"Unfortunately, yes. But he doesn't know that. Right?" Bo asked nervously.

"Let's hope so," Ko added.

"But he has made a lot of progress you know, like tending to the plants and calming down." Vo made them understand.

"I don't think so, look at his plans. I'm very sure he is plotting a detailed revenge." Xo said in a gruff voice.

"I'm afraid Xo might be right, he inherited his mother's wickedness." So said sadly.

"But he has a chance to repent, we all know what his mother did to him and how he grew up and is still growing up with a huge scar. Losing his both parents on the same day at the same hour was not easy for him to bear but he still took the stand. We should be patient with him." Vo suggested.

"I'm taking a trip to earth, for a visitation," Xo smirked.

"Don't be hard on him, he is our responsibility. Remember what we promised his father?" So tried to make the discussion suitable for everyone.

A soft knock came from the door and Bo was quick to make the image on the mirror disappear. Shiloh walked in a radiant dress with her silvery hair falling loosely on her shoulders.

"Greetings elders." She bowed royally. "The vampire windows have been rewarded with provisions, the time is hard and we need more work to be done." She announced.

"You're taking good care of your kingdom, darling." Vo gave her a warm smile.

"Better than your betrothed," Xo added grumpily. "By the way, I'm taking a trip over there." He muttered the last words to himself.

The lady elf froze in the spot, "you're going to see my Lord? Then you must bring back a letter for me." She insisted.

"I don't think it is a good idea, he is a stubborn one," Xo said.

"Let her try, when home is far away, we can't refuse the worst piece of home." So said with a cheerful smile.

Xo was compelled to her request and the elf princess presented the letter covered with the fragrance of her lord's favorite flowers, Xo received it and promised to deliver the letter safely.

First, he boarded the train of the realms and got dressed in the form of a grumpy old man with a fine suit. He got out along with some people and started his journey to Marcus' home. The trip was incredibly fast for a being like him. He was standing in front of their door in no time. Sado was within reach of the door, so she went to open it.

The morning was dull and everyone was still fighting to overcome the trauma of the previous day. Sado was first to open, she appeared to be in her less scary form, neat red hair, nice red jacket, and jeans pants.

"Uh, What do you want, old man?" Sado asked absentmindedly. When he would only glare lightly at her with his thick brows she looked past him for anyone who came along but saw only void.

"I think you don't have the right address." She said awkwardly.

Marcus came to the door and immediately froze.

"Elder." He bowed. Sado stared at the old man down with wide eyes.

"What?" She asked in confusion.

They parted ways for him to come in which he did grumpily. As soon as Phineas saw him, he bolted up from the couch and attempted to leave.

"Stay back Duc," Xo ordered and he was right back on the couch. Xo equally directed the two adults to sit. He said across from them. Gaze shifting from one person to another.

"What happened?" He asked while relaxing on the couch with a clipboard and a pen appearing in his grips.

"Excuse me, I'll make you tea in five seconds." She sat up and disappeared to the kitchen, before the five seconds elapsed she was back with the teacup which she presented to him.

"What happened?" He repeated his question, his wrinkled thumb hitting the butt of his pen.

"About Oxias?" Sado asked.

"Yes, do you see another person I dropped off?" Xo said sarcastically.

Sado cringed. "We had a little fight about his attitude and I wanted to destroy his plants as punishment and that was then I DISCOVERED! He had been feeding a huge monster all this while! All his plants are monsters!" Sado blurted.

"What brought about that drastic measure?"

Marcus cleared his throat, "The boy needs an attitude fix, he must understand that we are his guardian!" He gestured angrily.

"Phineas, how was your experience with King Oxias?"

Phineas looked up from his phone. "Silent, smart, but a little too mouthy which I don't care about because unlike some people I know he is royalty," Phineas said without much concern.

Xo frowned deeply. "Hm, I see. Do you know how much he loved those plants? Which is very rare for King Oxias because he finds pleasure in evil only and being attached to innocent lives has helped him to be more calm and considerate. Rogue!" Xo explained sternly.

"You destroyed it, by that you were inflicting him emotional pain, which resulted in you almost getting killed and the fact that you're here now is not luck, he spared you! Don't be so foolish next time!" He scolded Sado who sank in her seat with a bleeding heart.

"Marcus." He shifted his gaze to the purple-haired magician. "Haven't you noticed how much better he gets every day? All these days you don't have to chain him like a dog, and you just have to do it when he is getting better, and believe me, your actions have a great consequence, not only did you kill all his plants you equally pulled him to his past. You've hit him hard and there is a comeback." Xo scolded Marcus.

"As for Phineas, Phineas, no, you're all good." He muttered before raising to his feet.

"You must know that Oxias is not anybody, he is the balance of his universe. If he doesn't get done with this quickly, I'm afraid a lot of people will die." Xo stipulated with his hands folded to his back.
