Chaeryeong's POV
Mom left with Aunt Nayeon so I am with eomma, Aunt Jeong and Chaeyeon unnie right now.
"You know what Ryeong, my friends were worried for you as well, they said you were suddenly missing" Chaeyeon unnie said
"Really?" I asked and she nodded
"Can I call Yuna?" I suddenly asked. I wanted to tell her that I'm finally doing well and I want to call her.
"Ryeong, Yuna is at school and the teacher would get mad if Yuna uses her phone in class" Chaeyeon unnie explained
"But I want to talk to her" I said and pouted. I really want to hear her voice again.
"Ryeong, you know that the both of you like surprises right?" she asked and I just nodded. What's up with her and her weird questions.
"How about, we don't tell Yuna?" She suggested. Well it would be nice but I know Yuna misses me too much
"Unnie, Yuna misses me a lot already, I don't want her to wait more" I said worriedly
"I know but, it would be better though. She would be very happy seeing you awake now and she would be surprised" she said
Well, that's a good idea, I also want to know how she would react.
"Okay then unnie, let's surprise her" I said with a smile
"Good, anyways, your teachers told me that you could do the exam at home when you have your free time and when you think you can answer it" Unnie said, I was wondering about that as well but I guess after christmas or hopefully next week? I don't want to stress out during the holidays tho
"Okay unnie, thank you for telling me tho" I said with a smile.
"Okay okay, anyways, Sakura should be here any-" the door of the room then opened and it was Sakura unnie. Sakura unnie treats me like her own sister ever since she and Chaeyeon unnie started dating, its nice to have another older sister around.
"Hello Ryeong-ah, Chaeyeon told me you just woken up" she said and placed some fruits she both at the table
"Mhm, thank you for visiting me unnie" I said
and smiled. Kkura unnie also smiled at me and then she placed some bags on the end of my bed.
"Umm, what are those unnie?" I asked her
"Oh, since I just got back from Japan, I decided to buy you and your unnie some treats. Of course I got some for your moms too. This one is for you tho" she said and then gave me a bigger paper bag. It was in lavender. I opened it up and I was surprised. There was a cardigan, some cute christmas socks and then some candies and chocolates
"U-unnie, this is too much" I said worriedly and looked at her
"Eh... that's not even over 20,000 yen" she said
"Kkura, how much did you spent?" Chaeyeon unnie asked
"Umm... around 18,500 yen" Sakura unnie said
"Kkura, you don't have to buy a lot of things for us" Chaeyeon unnie scolded her
I just chuckled, it seems like Kkura unnie likes to shop a lot.
"Thank you for this unnie. I really appreciate it" I said to her
"I'm glad you do" she said and chuckled
"But we will be talking later Kkura" Chaeyeon unnie warned and I just chuckled. Kkura unnie is going to have a scolding from Chaeyeon unnie.
A little later mom and eomma came back with my breakfast. I ate it and then after that they let me brush my teeth, I was able to walk a little but Chaeyeon unnie had to help me with that. Also, I wanted to go around the hospital's garden and Aunt Jeong helped me, she joined me there along with eomma.
Going back to my room, I felt sleepy but mom told me I had to change my clothes so I did, I also had to wipe my arms and legs with a wet cloth. After washing my face, mom and Aunt Nabongs helped me going back to the bed and let me lay down.
"Rest well sweetie, you'll be better soon okay?" mom told me and I nodded with a smile
"Sleep well Chaery, if you need anything, you can call any of us okay?" Aunt Nabong said and I looked at her and then at mom and nodded at them.
Later on, I really felt sleepy and my eyelids are starting to close so I drifted off to sleep.
Yuna's POV
"Yuna, Aunt Jihyo said that she wants to see you in her office" Lia unnie told me
"Why?" I asked her
"We don't know, Aunt Jihyo just told us that she needs to talk to you" Yeji unnie added
"Yuna, did you did something wrong again?" Ryujin unnie asked me.
To be honest, I also don't know. I haven't seen Abby for a few times already so who will I argue with anyways?
"I don't know, well I'll just go before Aunt Jihyo calls mom and eomma" I said and they nodded
I went out of the classroom bringing my bag with me since it was dismissal time anyways. I knocked on the office door and I heard a soft 'come in'. I gently opened the door and saw Aunt Jihyo sitting on her chair and then Abby, Rian, Claude and James at the other side. Yep, James. He was one of the quietest ones among them which was weird. He doesn't show up much but who cares.
"Take a seat Yuna" Aunt Jihyo said and I did what I was told to do.
I sat down at the chair across the other four. I was wondering what could it be, will Aunt Jihyo suspend me again? will I get expelled
"Do you know the reason why I called you in today Yuna?" she asked me
"N-no Ms. Jihyo" I said and then looked down
"Well, I called you in here just to make things clear between you and this four others. I know some of your background stories already so no need to tell me that. So Yuna, tell me.... what are the things that they did to you hmm? Because three from them already confessed, only one didn't" Aunt Jihyo said. I knew it was Abby who didn't say anything, she's a bitch anyways.
"Go on Yuna, they won't hurt you anyways. I already warned them" Aunt Jihyo said and I nodded
"They forced me to go smoking, which caused me to have a fight with the unnies. Then Abby and Rian fought with Chaeryeong unnie, making her lose her breath. Then Abby called Chaeryeong unnie a bitxch and other bad stuff about her. I did punched her that day but when I punched on her stomach my knuckles bled. Also, I know that they were the ones who got Chaeryeong unnie and locked up her in a car and then made her stay there until she passed out" I said, trying to hold back my tears. Remembering how Chaeryeong unnie suffered really hurts me
"Is this true?" Aunt Jihyo asked the other four
"Yes Miss, it is" Rian said. Good thing she still had some sense in her brain.
"Claude? James?" Aunt Jihyo asked
"Yes Miss, but we weren't the ones who planned it. We only did what Abby told us to do" Claude said. Knew it
"Then why did you followed Abby?" Aunt Jihyo asked
"She threatened us miss, she threatened is that she would try to hurt us and tell everything we did to our own families. Along with that, she said she'll make our lives like living in hell" James said. That was the first time I heard him talking for a long time
"Don't you guys think you're making someone's life a living hell already? Don't you think that the person your hurt for the whole year, that person which is Son Chaeryeong is having a hard time because of you guys? She's in the hospital because if what you've done. Yes, she may be an orphan but she has parents who loves her so much. Think about it, her parents are getting worried every single day, just hoping for her to be better and wale up" Aunt Jihyo said, it made me tear up. Chaeryeong unnie shouldn't really be suffering all of this.
A little more talking with Aunt Jihyo and I just got the greatest news. Well, not really but Abby got finally expelled. Rian and the other two got suspended but got told to come back to school and do their punishment for the rest of the semester.
I thank Aunt Jihyo and went out of the office. I quickly went over to the unnies and told them the news.
"That's really great! We don't have to deal with that bitch anymore" Lia unnie said and it made us chuckle
Then, Rian, Claude and James walked over to us.
"Planning to mess with my sister again?" Ryujin unnie asked angrily
"N-no... we just want to apologize" Rian said and it made me raise a brow
"We're really sorry for what we've done Yuna. We were just afraid from Abby" Rian explained
"Yeah, we're sorry Yuna, we will not ever do it again" Claude added
"If it makes you feel better and more safe, we'll just change schools" James added
"As much as I want to, I can't. You three were just threatened by Abby. Thank you for apologizing but I think you should apologize to Chaeryeong unnie" I said and then looked down
"Yeah, you guys should say sorry to her, not just to Yuna. You also need to apologize to her parents" Lia unnie added and they nodded as they said yes
"Can we apologize today?" Rian asked me
"I'm not sure... I'll tell you guys when. Chaeryeong unnie isn't awake yet" I told them sadly and they just nodded
We all went off and then Ryujin unnie drove me to the hospital, they said they'll visit Chaeryeong unnie tomorrow morning. I guess they wanted me to have Chaeryeong unnie alone first.
Third Person's POV
The other girls already knew, their parents told them and said that they shouldn't tell Yuna yet to surprise her.
Yuna tiredly went to where Chaeryeongms room was. Although she was excited to see the older, it still saddens her knowing that Chaeryeong isn't awake yet.
She slowly opened the door and then saw Chaeryeong and her parents there.
"How was school Yuna?" Nayeon asked
"Good, oh... Aunt Jihyo talked to me" Yuna said smiling, finally telling her parents the good news
"What is it?" Jeongyeon asked
"You know Abby right? she's finally expelled from school!" Yuna said excitedly
"Ah really?" Nayeon asked in shock and then Yuna nodded
"Well at least you have settled some things at school" Chaeyoung said
"Yeah Aunt Chaeng" Yuna said and chuckled
"Well, will it be okay if we leave you here with Chaeryeong first? We'll be having a quick snack" Mina said
"Sure Aunt Mina"
"Do you want anything?" Nayeon asked but Yuna shook her head
"Okay then, go on and tell Chaeryeong how your day went" Jeongyeon said and Yuna nodded excitedly. The parents went out of the room to leave the two alone.
Yuna then went towards Chaeryeong and put her bag down on the floor just beside the bed. She carefully held Chaeryeong's hand and smiled. Chaeryeong was actually pretending to sleep so that Yuna wouldn't know. Also, she had the oxygen mask removed from her mouth already since Jisoo said that Chaeryeong wouldn't be needing it that much.
"Unnie, a lot have happened today" Yuna said
"I got a perfect score in literature class, Miss Jieun was so proud of me for nailing the quiz. Then in Arts, they asked us to draw a portrait of someone and the teacher was happy from what I drew... it was you of course. Then when we had a little meeting with Aunt Momo for dance class, she said I was improving so much! Finally... Abby is expelled from the school. No one can hurt you anymore bubba, just like I promised you. I won't let anyone hurt you anymore" Yuna said and the last one softly.
She sat down on the chair and sighed. She would be more happy if the older were giving her reactions and some smiles as she told how her day went.
She held Chaeryeong's hand tightly, not wanting to let go as she laid her head on the side of the bed.
"I miss you so badly already unnie... I want to see you smile, I want to hear your soft voice, your laugh and then get your hugs and kisses" Yuna said sadly as a tear fell to her cheek.
"I miss you so much" Yuna muttered and kissed the back of Chaeryeong's hand gently. She then closed her eyes, hoping she could fall asleep by then.
Since Yuna wasn't looking at Chaeryeong. Chaeryeong slowly opened her eyes and looked at the younger. She felt so happy to be seeing Yuna again that a tear trickled down to her cheek.
She knew it was the right time to let Yuna know. The younger has been waiting for her for a long time already. With her other hand, which was connected to some wires, she carefully lifted it up and move it to the side to caress Yuna's hair softly. With that, Yuna flinched and her heart started beating rapidly.
Yuna sat up and turned to look at the older
"B-bubba?" Yuna asked nervously, Chaeryeong was awake, she had that bright smile that Yuna has been wanting to see for days.
"Yes baby, its me" Chaeryeong said softly with a smile. Yuna then immediately hugged the older, but not too tightly. She kept on crying on the older's arms that Chaeryeong had to pat her back for a couple of times to calm her down
"I miss you!" Yuna cried
"I miss you too my giant baby" Chaeryeong said and place a kiss on Yuna's temple. Yuna then parted away and looked into Chaeryeong's eyes
"I'm so sorry unnie. I really am. I should've been there for you, I should've been able to save you but all that happened and you were suffering a lot. I'm really sorry unnie. I'm about to think its all my fault, I'm blaming myself for not being able to save you on the times that you need me. Unnie..." Yuna trailed off and looked at Chaeryeong again
"Am I not enough? Am I not enough for you? is that what the world is saying?" Yuna cried. It made Chaeryeong hurt, knowing that Yuna had to keep this kind of thoughts to herself. She then cupped Yuna's cheeks so that the younger was looking at her.
"Yuna, Listen to me okay? Don't think about that, erase those thoughts. You're not the cause of this, if ever there is someone to blame then it would be Abby so don't say things to yourself. Yuna, always remember that I love you and you're enough for me, actually... more than enough okay? don't think that we don't deserve each other. Stop thinking about that okay? I love you so much so please stop having those negative things, it makes me worry about you" Chaeryeong said and kissed Yuna's forehead, a tear falling down to her cheek
"Come here" Chaeryeong said. She moved to the side a little since the bed was big enough for two people anyways. She let Yuna lay down beside her. She hugged Yuna by the waist and let her rest her face on the crook of her neck. She drew small circles on the younger's back.
"Have you been having a hard time my baby?" Chaeryeong asked worriedly. Yuna just nodded as she sniffed
"I'm sorry baby, but hey, I'm here now mhm? I hope it makes you feel better knowing that I'm fine already. I'm glad that you've been doing well in school and you got compliments from your teachers." Chaeryeong said and chuckled
"I was thinking about you while I was at school" Yuna muttered
"Hmm... thank you baby, I've been thinking about you too. You know what, we can go out as soon as I get out of the hospital. Aunt Jisoo already gave me permission" Chaeryeong said and chuckled again
"Really?" Yuna asked
"Mhm, but for now, we both need to rest. Let's just sleep for a while baby, will that be okay with you?" Chaeryeong asked
"Yeah, more than okay" Yuna said and chuckled
"Remember... I love you and I always will" Chaeryeong said and then lifted Yuna's chin so that she could look at her
"I love you too bubba" Yuna said softly. With that, Chaeryeong pulled Yuna closer to give her a quick kiss on the lips. Yuna missed this so much, the kisses that the older gives her just makes her extra happy. Parting away, they giggled and then hugged each other tighter and drifted off to sleep
