Mina was already downstairs since Nayeon and the other moms told her to eat already. Nayeon and Jennie were inside the room since they needed to keep an eye on the girls.
"How long has it been?" Jennie asked
"A week already" Nayeon said and sighed
"Did Jisoo say anything about her condition?" Jennie asked
"Not really, but she said that we should just wait. Chaeryeong got all the vitamins she needed already, they also feed her enough for her to be healthy" Nayeon said and Jennie nodded. They glance over Yuna who was sleeping at the side of the bed and looked at the three other girls; Yeji, Lia and Ryujin.
"Its already evening, the girls need to eat" Momo said as she entered the room.
"Now?" Nayeon asked and Momo nodded
"Girls, come on, let's go eat dinner" Jennie said and the girls nodded
"Nayeon, we'll go out first okay?" Jennie said and Nayeon nodded
Jennie left with Yeji, Lia, Ryujin and Momo. They went out of the room and towards the hospital cafeteria.
Nayeon then walked over to Yuna to wake her up from her sleep.
"Yuna sweetie, come on, you need to eat dinner" Nayeon said softly and patted her daughter's back.
"Hmm..." Yuna groaned
"Come on, we need to eat sweetie" Nayeon said and Yuna slowly got her head up. She rubbed her eyes and glanced over Chaeryeong.
"How about Chaeryeong unnie?" Yuna asked
"Don't worry, Mina is going back here in a while. Jisoo needs to check her as well" Nayeon said and Yuna nodded.
Yuna stood up and was about to leave but then when she was about to remove her hand from Chaeryeong's, she felt the older gripping on her hand.
Yuna's heart raced and then looked back at Chaeryeong.
"Unnie?" Yuna asked to make sure
"Unnie, can you hear me?" Yuna asked. Nayeon also looked back at the two, she checked on them.
"Yuna, what's wrong?" Nayeon asked
"S-she gripped ln my hand mom" Yuna said
Nayeon was confused but she waited for her daughter.
"Unnie, if you can hear me please grip on ny hand" Yuna said softly
A little later she felt Chaeryeong gripping on her hand once again. She felt so happy, Chaeryeong can hear her.
"Mom, Chaeryeong unnie gripped on my hand. Does this mean she's getting better?" Yuna asked excitedly
"She is sweetie, but do tell her you need to eat dinner first" Nayeon said and chuckled. Yuna nodded and then Nayeon left the room first.
"I'll go eat dinner unnie, I'm glad you're getting better. I love you" Yuna said softly and kissed the older's forehead before going off to the cafeteria.
She excitedly made her way towards her friends and her parents.
"Oh Yuna, you seem so happy" Rosé said and chuckled
"She is" Nayeon said and chuckled
"Why? what happened?" Ryujin asked
"So, I was about to leave with mom to go eat dinner here at the cafeteria. I was still holding Chaeryeong unnie's hand and then I stood up and she gripped on it! I feel like she could hear us!" Yuna said excitedly
"Oh my, I have to tell Jisoo" Mina said and the others nodded
"That's great Yuna" Lia said with a smile
"See girls, don't lose hope. Chaeryeong will be better soon for sure" Jihyo said with a smile
"So it means we can celebrate the holidays with her!" Yuna said happily
"Yes Yuna, we are" Jeongyeon said and chuckled as she saw her daughter being all smiles.
"I'm so happy mom, eomma. Chaeryeong unnie is getting better" Yuna said as she teared up
"Yah Yuna, don't cry, you're making us cry" Yeji said as she was faking crying
"Gosh you girls" Jennie said and chuckled
"They were just like us" Sana said and Momo agreed
"Yeah, even when eating" Momo said as she glances over Yujin and Ryujin who actually had a big appetite just like their mothers.
Mina and Chaeyoung went back to the VIP room to check on their daughter and of course to tell Jisoo.
"Jisoo unnie" Mina called
"Yes?" Jisoo asked, she was busy checking around Chaeryeong's records and her oxygen level
"Yuna said that Chaeryeong can hear us" Mina said
"How?" Jisoo asked and then looked at the couple
"Yuna said that Chaeryeong gripped on her hand. She also asked her to do it and she did" Mina said
"Ah really? well, its been a week. Hopefully she'll be better soon" Jisoo said and the couple nodded
"Chaery-ah, its me your Aunt Jisoo. Can you hear us?" Jisoo asked as she went beside Chaeryeong's bed.
"Hello sweetie, Yuna told us you can hear us. We miss you so much our precious girl" Mina whispered and caressed Chaeryeong's hair.
"Chaery-ah, can you raise your arm? or move it? if you can hear us please do" Jisoo said.
Later on, Chaeryeong moved her fingers. Chaeyoung saw it and told them.
"She moved her fingers" Chaeyoung said happily.
"I guess she is getting better" Jisoo said and chuckled
"We can't wait to see you healthy again sweetie, we miss you so much" Mina said, teary eyed and kiss Chaeryeong's forehead.
"She'll be better soon Chaeyoung, Mina. Just a couple more days or maybe tomorrow, she'll be better and be able to open her eyes" Jisoo said and the two nodded
Chaeryeong's POV
I can hear them. I always do but somehow I can't open my eyes yet. I don't know why, I really want to see them. I want to see mom, eomma, Chaeyeon unnie, Yuna, everyone. I want to see them so bad. I can move some parts of my body, I can curl up my toes and move my hand and fingers.
The other day, I always listen to them. Especially to mom, eomma, Chaeyeon unnie and Yuna.
Flashback.....
I think its probably the third day that I'm here at the hospital. I started hearing them om the second day but somehow I can't move and open my eyes.
"Go on Yuna, we'll be downstairs if you need anything okay?" I heard, its probably one of the moms
"Nae eomma"
"And please don't leave this room unless you tell us or we come back okay? Watch over your girlfriend" oh wait, its Aunt Jeong and Yuna. They've been probably been visiting me everyday
"Yes eomma, I won't leave this room anyways" Yuna said and then I felt her shuffling around the room. I heard something being placed on the floor and later on I felt someone's presence near me.
"Hello again bubba, I hope you're doing better today" It was Yuna. I miss her voice so much, I miss seeing her. I want to hug her so badly and give her kisses like I always do.
She then held my hand gently and caressed the back of it.
"I'm really sorry for not being there on time. I wished I was able to save you so you wouldn't be suffering" she said and sniffed. Is she crying? Yuna, please don't cry. I'll try my best to wake up again.
"Unnie... am I not enough? bad things keep happening to you. I'm starting to blame myself for it. I miss you so much..."
I miss you too Yuna
"Please unnie, I want to see you awake, I want to see your bright smile that will make me believe that everything's fine. I want to hug you and kiss you but I can't. You're suffering again because I wasn't there for you like I promised" she said. I know she's crying too much already, I know it from her voice cracking. I want to comfort her and tell her that I'm okay but I can't. I can only hear her, that's all I can do
"I miss you so much unnie. Please wake up...... I love you so much" she said and then I felt her placing a kiss on my forehead
End of flashback..
I promise Yuna, I promise that I'll get better and can see all of you again.
