Third Persons POV

As soon as the car stopped right in front of the station, Olivia and the officer that Alexandra now know as Officer Taylor, both got out the vehicle and led their way inside the station, with Alexandra slowly following behind.

Once they got inside, they were met with a different Officer who introduced himself as Officer Roy.

As they started discussing Alexandra's situation, Alexandra lost focus on their conversation, she was zoned out, the only thought she had in mind was if they were going to like her.

She immediately brought her head to look up at Olivia when she felt a hand softly touch her uninjured shoulder.

"Let's go."

She swallowed the lump in her throat and quietly nodded before following the two officers who led them to a relatively nice room.

She was extremely anxious that she didn't even realise they had arrived the room, or that they were in the exact same room as her biological family.

Olivia then called Alexandra, snapping her out of her swirl of thoughts, causing Alexandra to turn and look at her with her big innocent eyes.

"Alexandra, meet your parents and your brothers, if you need me, don't hesitate to call out for me. I'll give you guys some privacy." She said before politely smiling at the family and leaving.

Alexandra switched her gaze from Olivia to a slender looking woman with shoulder length dark brown hair. She had gorgeous green eyes, same as her right one and over all, Alexandra thought she was insanely beautiful.

Next to her stood a man, probably in his fifties. He was tall— really tall, with freshly cut brown hair with a little grey in them. He had the same light brown hair as Alexandra with blue eyes, matching her left one but his ones were more alive compared to Alexandra's dull ones.

She immediately looked away from the couple and towards the 2 men who stood next to them.

As soon as Alexandra's eyes landed on them, they widened in shock.

They were the same men who helped her with Stacy.

They both stood there with wide eyes, mirroring Alexandra's. They had so much emotions in their eyes that Alexandra couldn't seem to read.

"I... y-you're the ones that helped me." She said in disbelief.

Elio couldn't say anything, he was shocked that the girl he helped not even 2 hours ago, was actually his sister. He knew he could recognise those eyes, but there was no proof that that girl was actually his baby sister.

He slowly made his way towards the small 16 year old girl and stood just inches away from her, which made Alexandra frown as she had to look up in that position to be able to see his face.

Once her eyes met his Caribbean blue eyes, she felt a warm feeling in her heart, a feeling that wasn't going away anytime soon.

Elio surprised Alexandra by opening his arms and wrapping his arms around her small frail body.

She froze. He was hugging her.

As soon as his arms wrapped around her, she felt safe, something she hadn't felt in years.

Elio couldn't believe he was hugging his sister who he hadn't seen in years, who he believed was dead.

A few seconds go by with Alexandra just standing still, until she slowly moved her arms and wrapped them around her brothers waist while resting her face on his shoulder.

She felt safe.

She didn't want to let go, so when he started to move away, she held on to him tighter and whispered a small—

"Just a little longer please."

Elio was shocked as he paused for a bit, but he nevertheless still wrapped his arms around her frame.

He smiled and kissed the top of his little sisters forehead, "I knew it was you."

Letting go of the hug, Alexandra turned to look at the others and saw Evan softly smiling at them whereas her Mom and Dad were looking at them with a confused expression.

"You've met her?" Amelia questioned, looking at Elio with furrowed eyebrows.

"Yup, Elio and I just met her like an hour ago before we came here. Let's just say, we helped her out in a... difficult situation." Evan said, changing up his words when he saw his little sister looking at him with pleading eyes, signalling him to not tell them about Stacy.

The two nodded their head in understanding before their eyes locked with Alexandra's, who looked at them with a small pout on her lips and with a tilt of her head.

They couldn't help but smile at the sight of their daughter, they couldn't believe that she was right in front of her.

Amelia looked at her with loving eyes and opened her arms, "Come here baby."

Alexandra stared at her open arms before she unconsciously walked towards her Mom and as soon as she was in front of her, she jumped into her arms, bringing her small arms to wrap tightly around her Moms neck.

Anthony stood next to his wife and daughter as he brought his hand up and softly stroked Alexandra's hair with a faint smile on his face.

He felt excited and happy and all sorts of different emotions regarding the return of his only daughter. He couldn't even belie she was actually in the same room as him.

Releasing from the hug, Amelia looked into her eyes, "Hey beautiful, I'm Amelia, your Mom. I'm glad to finally have you home, you have no idea how tiring it is dealing with all these stinky boys."

The 2 sons whined while Anthony just chuckled.

And for the first time in years, Alexandra smiled, she giggled. For the first time in years, she immediately felt like she belonged here, with them.

"I'm Anthony, your Father, and I'm glad to finally have my princess back home, I can't wait to spoil you." Anthony said.

Alexandra moved to stand in front of her Dad before swinging her arms and wrapping them around his neck, causing a deep laugh to leave Anthony's mouth.

"Okay guys thats enough, it's my turn now." Evan said before hugging his little sister by the waist and lifting her up.

Alexandra quickly brought her arms around his neck and let out a yelp as her ribs were pressed up against Evan's stomach.

She whimpered and Evan immediately put her down, worry etched onto his features.

It had been so long that he didn't know how to act towards the fragile little girl. All the boys were so used to being rough in their household, they had no idea on how to treat Alexandra after so long.

"Did I hurt you? Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I didn't—" Alexandra cut him off with a lighter hug, making Evan immediately shut his mouth and hide his face on the crook of her neck.

"I'm fine, your hug was just tight." She whispered.

He hummed in reply before letting go and looking at her, "Anyways, I'm Evan, your soon to be favourite brother." He said with a big goofy smile.

"We all know who her favourite brother is going to be." Elio said as he leaned forward, swiping the baby hairs away from her forehead.

"Right. Ares." Evan mumbled, knowing damn well that those two used to have a special bond that no one can replace. Ares was her favourite brother when she was little and there was no doubt that that position was going to change.

After all, he was her twin.

"Hey princess, kinda stupid of me to not say this before but I'm Elio, your oldest brother." He smiled at her, looking into her beautiful eyes that no one can seem to look away from.

All of them were looking at Alexandra with soft smiles on their faces, their eyes held softness and were filled with different emotions. One of them being love.

An unfamiliar word for Alexandra.

For the second time that day, Alexandra smiled a genuine smile at them. Their voice was so soft, she couldn't help but feel loved.

She didn't forget how they left her with Tony, how they left her to fight with her demons alone.

But that was something she would worry about later on.

Right now, she wanted things to work out because this was her only chance in gaining a family. She was going to leave the past for later on and for now, she was going to try.

She's been craving to be loved for so long and when she finally found the people who may be the ones to be able to fix her, she can't seem to want to trust them, she didn't want to be left alone at the end, she didn't want to feel the pain all over again.

But she was going to try.

Alexandra flinched when she felt a sudden contact with her cheek. Thankfully, no one noticed.

She moved her eyes to look into a pair of sage green ones.

Amelia's eyes watered as she looked into her daughters eyes, "You know, whenever your brothers were angry, all it took was one look at your eyes and they would be soft teddy bears again. You have no idea how much it used to calm them down." She said as she caressed her daughters cheekbones.

Anthony looked at the two lovingly while her brothers muttered a small 'It's true.'

A wide dimpled smile appeared on Alexandra's cheeks as she thought of people finally saying something nice about her eyes, causing everyone's eyes to soften at the sight of her dimples.

"Ready to go home with us princess?" Anthony asked before taking both her hand in his and leaving a soft kiss.

Alexandra nodded and then, they were out of the station, and walking to the car that will be taking them to the airport.

Not even a minute into the drive, Alexandra felt her eyes drooping. She was so tired, she didn't even realise when her head automatically rested on Elio's shoulder or when he started drawing circles on the palm of her hand that rested on her leg.

She decided not to fight sleep this time so she didn't even try staying awake and soon, drifted off into a once peaceful sleep.

Before she could fully let sleep consume her though, she heard a voice say, "Sleep baby sis, we'll wake you up when we arrive. We can't wait to spoil you. I love you."

❦ ❦ ❦

Arriving the airport, they all got out of the car and headed to the private section. Alexandra was oblivious to all the luxury her family was surrounded in seeing as she was practically sleep walking with her eyes half open and her hand holding onto Evan's for support incase she tripped on something.

"Come on sleeping beauty, wake up. You can sleep on the plane as much as you want to but for now, watch your steps." Evan told his little sister when he saw her walking with her eyes closed.

She hummed and fully opened her eyes before she blinked a couple of times to see if what she was seeing was real.

In front of her, stood a beautiful black jet, with the word 'Stone's' written on it in gold details.

She didn't stop staring at the view in-front of her until Evan waved his hand in-front of her face, causing her to switch her gaze to him.

"You okay? You were staring for quite a while there princess." Evan chuckled, making Alexandra's cheeks burn red from embarrassment.

It was Alexandra's very first time on a plane, so when she entered the jet, it was not what she had expected it to look like.

The inside of the plane was even more beautiful— It was stunning.

She took a seat on one of the soft sofa and Elio followed, sitting down next to Alexandra while their parents and Evan sat opposite of them.

After they were all seated, the pilot announced that they were about to take off and to buckle their seatbelts.

Alexandra thought of how the seatbelts worked, she was struggling and Elio noticed so he slowly explained to her how to buckle it properly and in no time, the plane had started moving.

Once it moved, Alexandra had unknowingly grabbed onto Elio's hand and squeezed it as hard as she could as a small scream left her mouth when the plane jerked forward.

Realising what she did, she quickly retreated her hand and rested it on her thigh, balling it into a fist while the nails dug onto the palm of her hand to somehow reduce her panic.

Elio noticed and so he grabbed her hand and held it until the plane had stopped moving and was in the air.

That small gesture had somehow calmed her down.

She hid her face away from him with the hood of the hoodie, from the guilt she was feeling at that moment because she had unknowingly hurt him by squeezing his hand too hard.

She could literally see the shape of her nails—

Turning her head, she took in the mesmerising scenery out the window which was directly in front of her.

She could see the whole view of Arizona from there.

Alexandra couldn't help the small gasp that escaped her lips, along with the 3 words that left her mouth.

"It's so pretty!" she said to herself.

She turned around to look at her family, to see them already looking at her with a warm smile on their faces, causing Alexandra's cheeks to tint a pink shade, but she quickly turned to look out the window again so that they wouldn't notice.

She had so many questions she wanted to ask, but she couldn't find it in her to speak.

With Tony, she couldn't speak unless spoken to, she didn't know if they had the same set of rules or not.

So to play it safe, she kept her mouth shut and continued staring out the window.

"Did you tell Ares yet?" Evan asked while looking at Anthony, who shook his head.

"No, but I'll tell him later."

Alexandra furrowed her eyebrows and looked at Evan with a tilt to her head. "Who's Ares?"

Pain clouded their eyes and Alexandra immediately felt guilty for asking such question.

"He's your twin brother sweetie. Back when you were still with us, he was your favourite brother and you used to follow him everywhere your tiny little feet could take you, sometimes you'd even follow him to the shower. You guys were inseparable, he probably missed you the most out of all of us." Amelia replied with a chuckle at the end.

"Oh." She said softly.

On the inside, she was devastated that she didn't even know she had a twin brother. Her hatred for Tony grew even more from keeping her away from her twin.

A twin was suppose to be there with you everywhere you go, they were suppose to stick with you no matter what and yet, she was away from hers.

And the only person to blame, was Tony. She hated him. She hated him so much that she didn't even feel an ounce of guilt for his death anymore.

"How many brothers do I have?" She then asked the question that's been bugging her.

"Just us two and Ares, baby sis." Elio said while ruffling her hair.

"That's a lot of brothers." Alexandra mumbled to herself, not knowing they all had heard her.

Everyone laughed at her words and after a few minutes, when the laughter had died down, Alexandra looked out the window, blocking out everything while the others were engrossed in their own conversation.

Ares was in his room with his gaming headsets on, sitting on his bed with a controller in hand, but he couldn't help when his eyes kept landing on the picture frame on top of his desk.

The picture of him and his angel just months before she went missing.

Everything changed ever since his little twin sister was tragically snatched away from them 10 years ago.

10 years ago, the Stone family was involved in a tragic accident, losing their only sister and daughter. Not finding her body, they believed that she was still alive, but after years and years of looking for her, they closed the case, thinking she was dead.

They were left broken that day. The older ones started occupying themselves with work ever since they joined the business while Ares was out most of the time. They all did everything to keep their minds off of their little sister, but nothing worked.

Amelia was the only one who tried to keep the family together. The family would've fallen apart if it weren't for Amelia.

Ares was jolted out of his thoughts with the sound of his loud ringtone— indicating an incoming video call from his Dad.

He carefully placed the controller down and picked up the phone, holding it up to his face level before answering it.

"Hey Dad."

"Hey Ares." Anthony said with a wide smile.

Ares furrowed his eyebrows, "Dad...why are you so..." He trailed off, confused as to why his Father was this happy.

It scared him because the last time he saw his Father this happy was on Alexandra's sixth birthday.

"Happy? Excited?" Anthony said, receiving a slow, confused nod from his youngest son.

Anthony's smile widened if that's even possible before saying, "Well son, I have some news to tell you all."

Ares blinked a few times before getting up and leaving his room, "Hold on, I'll call you back, let me switch to my laptop."

He hung up the call and walked out of his room to fetch his laptop, all while thinking of all the possible things Anthony could have had to tell him.

As he walked in, he was met with a quiet living room as always, it was never the same after his twin left.

"Hey Ares." Amelia said with the same chirpy tone as his Dads, when he saw his parents faces pop on on his laptop screen.

"Hey Mom, what is it that you wanted to say?" Ares asked.

"Right, your Mother and I have a very good news to share with you," Anthony began as Ares impatiently waited for him to continue.

"We were in a meeting this morning when I received a call from the Police Department here at Arizona—"

"I swear I didn't do anything this time Dad, I haven't done anything wrong in the past week!" Ares exclaimed, rudely interrupting his Father who then, looked at him sternly through the laptop screen, causing him to mutter a small apology and lean back on the couch.

"As I was saying, I received a call from the Arizona Police Department informing me that Tony Johnson had overdosed on drugs and had passed away," He said, watching as his son grew confused at the mention of Tony Johnson.

"But that's not what I wanted to tell you guys, the big news is that Tony had an adoptive daughter and she matched our DNA. She's coming home with us." He tried giving them a hint on what he was onto with a wide grin spread across his face.

It was silent for a moment before Ares spoke,

"Dad you can't just bring some random bitch here, I will not allow you to replace my sister with some girl that non of us know who is probably claiming we're her family just because of our money. You can't just replace her like that. You said you wouldn't." He said with angry tears threatening to fall, his voice slightly breaking towards the end.

While all the thoughts went through Ares' head, realisation immediately hit him as soon as Anthony looked at him with a teary look, "Dad, Don't tell me it's—"

"It is son. It's her." Anthony cut him off, causing Ares to clamp his mouth shut.

"No Dad, she's dead. They said she was—"

He stopped mid sentence and looked at his Dad with calculating eyes, trying to see if his was telling the truth. But before he could figure it out, Anthony said the five words that everyone had been dying to hear for the past years.

"We found Alexandra. She's alive."

Ares froze at the mention of his baby sisters name. They had all agreed to not mention her name ever since the case was closed all those years ago because when her name was mentioned, everyone's mood would change instantly.

They had blamed themselves for her being missing, they felt that they failed to protect their only baby sister. Their princess. Their world.

A look of utter disbelief and shock was written on his face whereas his Dad still had a huge smile on his.

"I-is she with you now?" Ares asked, to which, Anthony replied with a short yes before rotating his laptop to face Alexandra who peacefully slept with her head on Elio's lap as he softly stroked her hair.

Right after his eyes landed on Alexandra, his expression eased, replaced with a more softer one.

"I can't believe it." he whispered.

"It really is her." Ares mumbled, still looking at the laptop screen as his eyes stung with fresh tears.

"W-When will you be home?" he asked his Father who turned the laptop screen to face him. "We just got on the plane an hour ago so we'll be there in a few hours hopefully." He said.

Ares nodded and with that, he hung up the call and left to go to his room as he thought about not being able to protect her before, but now that she's back, he promised to protect her with everything he has until the end.

He had a look of determination in his eyes, a type of promise that he wouldn't let anyone come near his twin sister, that he wouldn't let her shed a single tear while she's here, he wouldn't let her be in any type of pain, whether it's physical pain or emotional pain, he— they all wouldn't let her go through it alone.
