"Please Sivaangi ma, just oru one and half hours avalodhaan, kids are also asleep, please please" Ashwin pleaded
"But why? enakku foot ball pathi onnume theriyaadhu Ashwineyy" Sivaangi whined back
"I am not asking you to watch with me, you can do anything you want but just sit with me please" he again pleaded
"Adhaan edhukku? I was planning on catching up on few of my series' episodes" she again whined
"you can watch sitting here, on your tab, last two matches you sat here and did some work and both matches MU won, inikku romba important match ma adhaan kekaren please" he asked with a cute pout
"Seri okay.. but appo enakku poi french fries panni konduvaanga, then I will sit here" she started bargaining
"Yedhey!, night 9:30 kku french fries ah? " Ashwin asked shocked
"Aamam appo dhaan inga okkaruven" she said her head held high
Ashwin looked at the clock, the match was about to start in 15 minutes. He looked at her helplessly.
"Seri pozhachu ponga, but naalikku you have to make something special for me" she said and sat down on the other end of the sofa with her air pods and tab.
Ashwin happily immersed himself in the match. As he had predicted, his lucky charm did her magic and MU scored 2 goals while the opponent was zero.
Just then Sivaangi realized her mobile was in charge and she went to her room to get it, when Ashwin came and dragged her back
"2-0 irundhom, nee ezhundu pona, next second opponent goal pottuntaanga, I am sorry I am not going to let you get up until the match is done" he said and sat her next to him, very close and shoulder hugged her, creating butterflies in her stomach.
She found it very hard to concentrate on her series when being in such close proximity with him, whereas he immersed himself completely in the match.
She lifted and looked at his face, her eyes slowly roamed from his forehead, to his razor sharp eyes, down to his lips, giving her memories that made her insides burn. Her eyes slowly went down to his chin, it looked like it has been chiseled by one of the best sculptor in the world. She continued to admire him lost in her own world and thoughts.
"Mkkrummm" Ashwin cleared his throat, snapping her out of the trance.
She lifted her head and looked at his face, she saw his eyes were still on the TV screen but his lips were clearly curved with a smirk and his eyes were clearly smiling indicating "Maatikiteenga madam" making her go pink with blush.
He turned and looked at her, with a single eyebrow raise making her go red even more.
She immediately pulled her away from his grasps, went and sat on the other end of the sofa, but he followed her and again sat very close to her.
"Enna Ashwineyy try panra?" she asked her voice almost a whisper.
"Naan onnum pannalaye nee series paaruma" he said in a teasing tone, his eyes on the TV again.
"Appadiya?" Sivaangi said and moved herself to his lap and garlanded her hands around his neck and started watching her tab, making him loose his breath.
Her soft hair against his face, her familiar scent against his nose, her lips few inches away from his, started making him go crazy that he totally forgot everything about the match and turned his attention completely towards the cute ponnu on his lap.
"Match eh paaru Ashwineyy" said Sivaangi with a "karma is a boomerang sir " look, but even she struggled hard to concentrate on anything but him that she turned and looked at him, her eyes clearly yearning for him to complete the 'sorrY' which he left half way the other day.
His eyes too moved from her eyes to her lips and then back to her eyes asking for her approval.
But instead of giving him her approval, she moved closer to him and gave him what he asked approval for.
He pulled her closer to him, as he let her enjoy every bit of his lips, his hands liberally moving around her bare waist under her night shirt, knocking her already suffering lungs more out of air.
The invisible thread that was holding them back broke and started entwining around them bringing them more closer, but right that moment the MU scored their winning goal making the TV erupt with sounds of cheers, bringing them both back to reality.
They immediately moved away from each other and he turned his attention towards the tv while she to her tab and started watching whatever was playing there.
"I think it is better I sleep in the other room today" Ashwin said without looking at her.
Since the time Ashwin moved to her house, they both were staying in the same room, sleeping on the same bed, but careful and controlled enough to not be very close to each other, but owing to the electricity flowing between them today, they both decided it will be unwise to test their self control by sticking to their routine.
Sivaangi just nodded her head and started walking to her room very slowly, hoping and wishing for him to call her back, but Ashwin stayed strong, he did not even turn to look in her direction until she disappeared behind the closed door.

Ashwin was drinking his morning coffee looking something in his laptop when she came and sat next to him.
"Ashwineyy" she called him in her 'I need to ask you something' voice
"hmm.. sollu ma" he replied his eyes still on the laptop.
"Enna paaru Ashwineyy" she called again
"Seri sollu ma" he replied immediately closing his laptop.
"This weekend we have dinner and dance at our college, it is an year end thing that happens in almost all offices across SG to motivate and thank their staff" she said
Ashwin looked at her now with his full concentration, without saying anything waiting for her to continue.
She hesitated for a bit but then mustering up all the courage, she looked at him
"Last two years ah I have been going with Akash" she said but then looked down unable to continue.
"Do you want to go with him this year also?" Ashwin asked her, trying to make it easy for her.
Sivaangi lifted her head and looked at Ashwin but his face was blank not giving out any of his emotions.
"As I have told you before, neraya pannirkaan Ashwin enakku, we were close, I mean not in relationship sense, but he took care of me when I really needed some one, which I think made him possessive and protective, adhunaala dhaan he has been behaving quite weird around you. I think he is scared that you might end up hurting me again, adhaan he is trying to separate us, and I think me and the anger I had towards you is the main reason for him to feel that way" she said
"Two days ah avana college la paakaren, romba dull ah irukkaan , pesa kooda maatengaraan, romba paavama irukku paaka which is making me feel guilty, adhaan I thought I will ask you if it is ok if I go for the dance with him" Sivaangi finished.
Ashwin understood that Akash had already started making his moves, playing sympathy card with Sivaangi, triggering her guilt thereby making her make the decision for him.
Ashwin realised that denying now will only make matters worse and will look like he doesn't trust her with Akash.
"Poiittu va maa, I will take care of the kids" Ashwin said with a smile
"Are you sure? kovama edhuvum illaye Ashwineyy en mela? ungalukku edhavadhu problem na please tell me, I won't go, you are always more important to me than anything or anyone else" she asked.
"No kovam at all, edhukku kovam, nothing and no one can shake the trust, I have on you" replied Ashwin with a smile
Sivaangi did not reply, but her eyes started filling with tears making Ashwin panic.
"Ennachu ma?" he asked her
"I am sorry Ashwin, naanum appo ungala trust panni wait pannirkanum la, romba thappu pannitten Ashwin, all those years back" she said amidst her tears
"Vidu ma, un situation appadi, and the words I used out of anger made you think that way. It is not like you were happy, you were suffering both physically and mentally adhoda pregnancy hormones vera, so you did what you did, " he said soothingly
"Oh please Ashwin, will you stop defending myself to me, at least oru sorry urupadiya keka vidu Ashwineyy" she replied little frustrated
"Seri okay keka vidaren, but enakku proper ah kekanum S O R R Y, edhuvum miss aaga koodathu" he said looking at her with a teasing smile
"Ashwineyy, nee irkka paaru, mudiyaadhu, nethu enna vitutu thaniya thoongina la, keka maaten" she said with a false anger
"Nethu un kooda thoongirndha, apporam Nethra Mithra kku thambi or thangai ready aagirkum parava illaya?" he asked her with a raised eyebrow making her go pink
"Ayo, medhuva pesu Ashwineyy, rendum room la muzhichitu dhaan paduthitu irukkunga, apporam next time enga amma kitta, 'amma and appa are getting us a baby brother' nnu solli vekkunga'" said Sivaangi face palming herself and getting up to get ready for work.
Ashwin looked at her with a smile but the moment she disappeared from his eye sight his mind went back to Akash and started formulating a plan to nullify Akash's plan without letting Sivaangi get hurt in the middle
