A SAIYAN'S WEDDING
SON Y/N AND SON CAULIFLA
It has been a little over a year since Zamasu was destroyed, and since then, most of my time was spent on Earth with Caulifla. Caulifla moved in with me shortly after Bardock and Gine left. Naturally, over time, the topic of marriage came up, first acknowledged by Mom.

Y/N: This food is great! You're the best, Mom!
Chi-Chi: Anything for my boy!
I dig into the food as Mom sits in front of me
Chi-Chi: So, how are things going with Caulifla?
Y/N: Oh, great! She and I have been training together on Whis' world.. She's showing signs of Super Saiyan God, but she's not there yet
Chi-Chi: You know, I wasn't fully on board with her once I met her, but I can tell you two are meant for each other.
Y/N: Thanks, Mom
Chi-Chi: So.. Have you thought about getting married?
Y/N: We've only been together for a few months... besides, not like she'd understand
Chi-Chi: How so?
Y/N: She's a Saiyan from another universe! We have entirely different traditions here on Earth. How would I even approach it
Chi-Chi: Well, I don't quite think I'm the best one to talk about getting married. Your father didn't know what marriage was either when I approached him about it. I'd talk to Bulma about how she got married to Vegeta
Y/N: I didn't even think of that! Thanks, Mom!

After many months, I finally approached Bulma about some marriage advice.

I walked up to Capsule Corp and opened the door, I walked through the empty halls until I found Bulma's office, I lean in and spot her at her desk. I knock on the door, getting her attention
Bulma: Oh, hi Y/N!
Y/N: Hey Bulma!
Bulma: How can I help you?
Y/N: I need some advice, and you seem like the best person for it.
Bulma: Of course! Come, sit down!
I sit on a chair in front of Bulma
Bulma: What do you need?
Y/N: I was thinking... about asking Caulifla to marry me...
Bulma: Oh my gosh, congratulations!
Y/N: The thing is... she's a Saiyan, from another universe no less, as far as I know, they didn't really do weddings.. what happened when Vegeta asked to marry you?
Bulma giggled
Bulma: Oh, he was confused alright, and for the record, I asked him. Like you said, Saiyans didn't really do marriage. Vegeta said that Saiyans didn't have time for marriage and wedding festivities.. when I asked him, he was completely clueless, I had to sit down and explain everything to him.. which kind of ruined the moment.. but I guess it paid off.
I laugh a little
Bulma: The Saiyans of Universe 6 are very different from the ones Vegeta talks about, perhaps they did have weddings... You don't know if you don't try.
I nod
Bulma: Come on, I need a break from this place anyway, I'll take you around West City, and help you pick out a ring!
Y/N: Really? You're the best, Bulma!

Bulma and I traveled around town and she helped me pick out a ring for Caulifla. After finding the guts to do it, I finally popped the question

Caulifla and I sat side by side. She rested her head on my shoulder as we watched the sunset. I took a deep breath, breathing in the cool air. I stood up, shocking Caulifla
Caulifla: Is something wrong, Y/N?
Caulifla stood up. I felt my pocket, the ring box was still there. I pull it out and hold it carefully
Y/N: Caulifla... you know I love you, right?
Caulifla: Well, at this point, I'd sure hope so.
I couldn't help but chuckle
Y/N: On Earth, we have a tradition... A way to cement two people's love for each other... I feel like now is the best time...
Caulifla's eyes widened, catching on quickly. I turn around and get on one knee, holding the box in my hands. Her face was still one of shock. I open it up, showing her the ring
Caulifla: Oh, it's beautiful...
Y/N: Caulifla.. will you marry me?
Caulifla covered her mouth in shock.
Caulifla: Y-yes! Of course I will!
I smile brightly as I gently grab her hand, sliding the ring onto her finger, after that, she practically pounced on me, wrapping her arms tightly around me.

After all that, the only real thing left was the wedding. Finding time to plan was a big problem, having to balance my life on Earth with training with Whis and Beerus. After a while, today is finally the day, the day I marry Caulifla.

Caulifla: *groans* This is ridiculous...
Chi-Chi helped Caulifla get dressed in her wedding dress, Kale watching from across the room
(I WAS HOPING THAT I COULD FIND A GOOD PHOTO OF CAULIFLA IN A WEDDING DRESS, BUT MOST OF THE ART IS EITHER BAD, A GOKU AND CAULIFLA WEDDING PHOTO, OR... RULE 34. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I EXPECTED TBH)
Chi-Chi: Oh, you'll love it, trust me!
Caulifla: You humans have the strangest traditions, this dress is way too damn long... What am I supposed to do?
Chi-Chi: It's simple, once everything is ready, you are brought out, the pastor says some words, and once you and Y/N recite your vows, you two kiss, making your marriage official.
Caulifla sighs as Kale covered her mouth, giggling a bit
Caulifla: Oh, laugh it up, Kale!
Kale laughed a bit more
Kale: You look good, Sis!
Caulifla: Thanks... I wonder how Y/N feels about this...

Gohan helped me straighten out my tie.
Gohan: You look good, Y/N. Are you ready for this?
Y/N: Of course
Gohan simply laughed, noticing the nervous look on my face
Gohan: If that's so, why do you seem so nervous?
I chuckle
Y/N: Fine, I'm nervous, okay?!
Gohan: You faced down Hit and Jiren all on your own and a wedding scares you?
I roll my eyes, causing Gohan to laugh
Y/N: Fighting is easy for me, weddings... not so much
Gohan: It is nice being on the opposite end of a wedding for once.
Y/N: I miss being on the opposite end. It was easier helping you prepare for your wedding with Videl.
Gohan: Everything will go great! Once it's done, it'll be all worth it, believe me.
Y/N: I guess so... is Dad gonna make it?
Gohan: Yeah, I made sure of that. It's not easy to get him in a suit
Y/N: *laughs* I can imagine.. Part of me wishes Bardock and Gine could be here for this
Gohan nodded
Gohan: Yeah, but imagine trying to get Bardock into a suit?
I laugh
Y/N: Alright, fair point.
Suddenly, Whis, Beerus, and Cabba appear
Y/N: Cabba! Glad you're here!
Cabba: Of course, I'd be here, Master! I can't believe I get to be the best man AND the ring bearer for your wedding!
Y/N: And Whis and Beerus? What're doing here?
Whis: You think I'd miss my prized pupil's big day? *laughs*
Beerus: Don't lie, Whis. We only came for the delectable treats that have been prepared for this festivity!
I laugh a bit

As Caulifla finally got into her wedding dress, somebody knocked on the door
Women: Miss Caulifla? You have a visitor!
Caulifla: A visitor? Who?
The door opened, and there appeared the last person Caulifla thought she would see, her brother.
Caulifla: Renso..?!
Renso stood in the doorway, Caulifla notices his leg, it wasn't his leg anymore, it was a robotic limb with a Capsule Corp logo on the side
Renso: Hello, Caulifla
Caulifla: What're you doing here?!
Renso: I know I'm the last person you want to see on your big day, but.. Young Cabba told me about what you've done.. the tournament I nominated you for, your ability to go Super Saiyan as well, then he told me about you and his master, Son Y/N getting married.
Caulifla stayed silent, not knowing what to say. She finally acknowledged the leg
Caulifla: Y-your leg...
Renso: That friend of yours, Bulma... I've been coming here for a few weeks now, and she gave me this new leg
Caulifla: You've been sneaking here behind my back?!
Renso: I wanted to be here for your big day, sister... I know I failed you... I drove you to the life of crime you lived for so long.. but I don't want to be away from you forever... I want to fix what I broke
Caulifla looked down, still not fully processing what was happening. Renso slowly approached his younger sister, putting a hand on her shoulder
Renso: Caulifla... I'm truly sorry for what I did... I should've done better... I pushed you too hard and I-
Suddenly, Caulifla hugged her older brother
Caulifla: Y-you... dumb bastard...
Renso couldn't be happier to hear those words
Caulifla: I-I guess I have you to thank for introducing Y/N and me... Fine.
Renso smiled as Caulifla let go of him
Renso: I know you still don't fully trust me... but I would be honored to walk you out today.
Caulifla nodded quickly
Caulifla: Of course...

I stood on the very podium I was to get married on. I looked around, seeing the chairs filling up with family and friends, Father having finally arrived. I walk over to the pastor
Y/N: Everything looks amazing, thank you for everything you've done.
Pastor: Of course! I did both your father's and brother's weddings, I felt the need to keep up the tradition.
Y/N: Well, once again, thank you, sir.
Once everyone was seated, things were getting set to begin. Father puts his hand on my back as Cabba walks out with both of the rings, handing them off to the pastor. Cabba nods his head to me before standing off to the side as the music began playing, that's when I spotted Renso
Y/N: *whispers* Renso's here?
Cabba: *whispers* Yeah, he wanted to be here for his sister's big day.
I nod my head with a smile as Caulifla walks out, immediately, I saw how beautiful she looked. Caulifla wraps her arm around Renso, who walks her down the aisle. Before long, she is right in front of me.
Y/N: *quietly* You look amazing
Caulifla: *quietly* I can say the same about you... you should wear a suit more often
I laugh a little
Pastor: Please, be seated
Everyone sits down
Pastor: We have come together in the presence of the gods to witness the joining together of this man and this woman in the bond of marriage. Please, join hands
Caulifla and I join hands, both of us with massive smiles on our faces.
Pastor: How about we start with the vows?
The pastor looked at me
Y/N: I-
Suddenly, a loud beeping erupted from the crowd
Bulma: I'm so sorry! It's just a security alert-
Bulma looked at a small screen
Bulma: S-someone just stole the Dragon Balls and Dragon Radar!
Y/N: What!?
Suddenly, a familiar ship flew through the sky, Vegeta recognized it
Vegeta: That's Frieza's ship!
My eyes widened, I could sense Frieza's energy, along with a very different one
Y/N: We need to call it off!
Pastor: We cannot simply call off this wedding!
Y/N: That guy there wants trouble! We don't have time for this!
Pastor: How about then, we skip to the ending?
I nod
Y/N: That'll work
I look back to Caulifla, rejoining hands, but tensions were higher
Pastor: Do you have the rings?
Y/N: Yeah.
Cabba hands me the first ring
Pastor: Son Y/N. Do you intend to take this woman whose hand you hold to be your lawful wedded wife; and do you pledge before Kami and man to love, honor, and protect her through sunshine and shadow alike; keeping yourself unto her alone until death shall separate you? If so, answer "I Do"
Y/N: I do.
I slide the ring onto Caulifla's finger. After that, Cabba hands Caulifla the second ring
Pastor: Caulifla. Do you intend to take this man, whose hand you hold, to be your lawful wedded husband; and do you pledge before Kami and man to be to him a loving and true wife, through sunshine and shadow alike, keeping yourself unto him alone, until death shall separate you? If so, answer "I Do"
Caulifla: You're damn right I do
I couldn't help but laugh a little at that as Caulifla slides the second ring onto my finger.
Pastor: And now, by the power invested in me by the church and in accordance with the laws of this fair city, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride.
Caulifla and I kiss to the applause of everyone in attendance. After we release, both of us fly high
Y/N: Sorry to cut it short, but we gotta stop Frieza!
With a guilty wave, Caulifla and I fly off
Y/N: Well, Son Caulifla.
Caulifla blushes at those words
Caulifla: Son Caulifla... I love that so much
Y/N: I do too... We need to head home first and change out of these clothes. After that, we need to find Frieza's ship
Caulifla: Agreed! COME ON!
Both of us fly off toward our house
