Me in my designer suit and Bloom in her jeans and hoodie sat infront of an intimidating woman with a stern and unwavering straight face. She introduced herself, "Hello, I am Farah Dowling. Headmistress of Alfea school. You both will be starting your first of many long years attending Alfea. First however i need to know how much control you have over your powers and how they first manifested?"
Before I could even get a word out Bloom spoke up, "I have fire powers, they first showed themselves last month. I accidentally set the house on fire"
She then nodded in acknowledgment and turned to me, I took a deep breath and began to explain.
"I have a powers to control darkness and I have a unique ability anything into gold or gems. Since I was little I could talk to the monsters under my bed and the Shadows in my closet. At the age of 4 I started to realise what they actually were and that no one else could see them. They call me the shadow queen."
This seemed to have shocked the woman Infront of me. I could see disbelief in her eyes. The shadows whispered in my ear like a breeze rushing through leaves, "she is afraid of your magic and control. She knows you are changelings and that you are the rightful queen of Domino."
I smiled and silently thanked the shadows. I turned back to the woman in front of me and created the Shadows in my palm ,I heard her gasp while boom stared at me. The Shadows crawled up my arm, it felt like bliss. I then turned the shadow into a dagger and presented it to the woman who sat motionless Infront of me.
She went to touch it but coldness creeped up on her arm. Nobody could touch the Shadows except for me so they would attack or retaliate. The Shadows only yielded to me; I was the mistress, their Queen and lover and everything in between.
She tentatively nodded in silent recognition of my power and an indication for me to show my second power that could tip the balance of worlds economic systems. I looked around me and noticed there was a nice hand mirror on the side so I picked it up, focused my energy on it and it turned the frame and handle to solid gold. I could see my face in the crystal where the glass once was.
They both gaped at me in disbelief, however I could see the anger on blooms face. she wanted to be better than me and she knows that she could never. I was a powerful one meant for greatness, she was the one little brat who thought she get whatever she wants to with a mummy and daddy please.
I could see the wheels turning in the headmistress' head, I know she knew that I was much beyond my years and I could see why she found me intriguing. I could figure out what she was planning to do with me or I could wait and let it be a surprise. I decided to leave it for now and have a wonderful surprised when I got Alfie, a school the gifted.
