Hello Readers! So, this OS is with reference to when Bondita meets Anirudh as Vaijyanti;)

Author's POV:

Vaijyanti.

Apparently she was the one whom Anirudh had to go and pick up from Deenpur Railway Station, considering the close bond their elders shared. He hadn't heard much about her, but known from his Kaka that she was a chirpy bird, which immediately made him reminisce his Bondita.

Bondita. His reason to live. The soul of his body, the words of his speech, and the beats of his music.

Over the years, the fiery enemity had burned down relations, yet this relation was one which he wanted to cherish, her scintillating beauty and innocence never failed to charm him.

And yet, he had closed himself out from memories. He had given her wings, but himself forgot to fly after she left. He had given her the music, but lost his own melody.

A cold hearted barrister he was now, a mere follower of the brain and rules which it abides by, because his heart had stopped beating the day her name vanished from his home like thin air.

He had denied this, all through the eight years, that he'd never want to see that face again, but who would believe in his words which went against his other half?

Anirudh's POV:

Well, here I am again. At the crossroads which I left 8 years ago. The last time, I had visited this station with her, and now, I'm back to pick up Vaijyanti, who by nature, seems to be just the right irritation for my barrister brain, but who knows what I might be in store for.

I walked down the aisle, surpassing the vendors selling their commodities, waiting for their customers to select their own likings. The pathway had surely brought back bittersweet memories, which I wanted to forget, bury in the deepest corners of heart, yet they resurfaced like fresh waves splashing up on the sand, wetting them constantly.

Then, came the sound of the train which had arrived on the station- Vaijyanti's arrival had thus been announced. Many people had already started descending the train, so I kept all the lingering thoughts aside, and went swiftly towards the train, with a cold attitude that could deceive anyone, of the fact that there was a childish, playful Anirudh behind that mask.

And, then, I stopped in my tracks. Oh, not because I saw something which I yearned for, rather because I felt a tug at my hand, and saw that a girl's clothing had gotten stuck to my wrist watch.

Aake Mujhe Thaam Le
Tu Bhi Mera Naam Le

I slowly, steadily looked up towards her, only to be taken aback by the extreme beauty she possessed. In her mid-20's, she was a tall, young girl, with luscious locks falling on her face, and her saree fitting her petite frame like a second skin. Her light brown eyes shone with something I wasn't able to decipher- excitement, or maybe the tingly feeling of meeting a loved one after years....

This was the first time my eyes got enchanted by someone other than Bondita. It felt so wrong, yet so right, almost as if I had fallen for someone again.

Author's POV:

He came out of his train of thoughts, when, she said, "Aiyyo appa, aap Barrister Babu hoti? Mere appa mereko aapke baare mein batati".

"Uh haan... tum Baijyanti ho?" he questioned.

"Aiyyo! Baijyanti nahi, V-V Vaijyanti", she said, trying the teach him the proper phonetics of her name, while internally laughing at her Sakha Babu's cuteness. She forwarded her hand, waiting for a formal handshake, but he politely denied by folding his hands in front of her. After all, how he could touch someone other than his Bondita?

Wordlessly, he led her to the bullock cart, and she asked if she could hold his hand to board it, but when he obliged to the sincere request, the mere touch of her had changed his life.

That touch. That feeling. He hadn't been so wrong after all. How could he even fail to recognize the touch of his love. One side, it was his love, and the other, was the enemity he swore to live thorugh.

The brush of her light delicate fingers, against his rough ones had sent jitters all throughout his system. And, at that one touch, he knew it was her. It was his Bondita, the one who had brought his soul back, the one who resided in his heart, the one who was his everything.

Oh Teri Meri Baatein Hoti Rahe
Aisi Mulakatein Hoti Rahe
Tu Jo Mere Paas Rahe
Jaadoo Sa Yun Chalta Rahe

He momentarily gazed at her eyes, those which claimed him to be her eternal universe, then left her hand, immediately stepped back, took a brief moment, and took her hand swiftly, taking her out of the station grounds, into a secluded shop nearby.

As soon as they reached, he locked the door, spinned her around, and pinned her to the wall so fiercely that she almost choked. Their faces had been so close, that he took a moment to register her face, her plump face, and her brown pools which made him weak every time. His hands were slammed on the side of her face, as he pierced his gaze at her. They were very close, yet the distance between their souls was so far, that things needed to be cleared, feelings needed to be confessed. It was now, or never.

And they both chose now.

With eyes full of rage, he inquired, "Who are you? You're not Vaijyanti. Why have you come here? We don't know each other, don't forget, and I am no one to you."

To anyone, he would have seemed furious, but only he knew how he was holding back his tears. How badly he wanted to hold her in his arms, to love her in all the ways possible, to surrender to her. He wanted to worship his goddess. His words were only of feigned disgust, his heart knew.

Yet, even through his momentary silence, she knew, that his heart was breaking with each word. But, he had to be Barrister Babu, not Sakha Babu, for the sake of his family. Wasn't she his family though? What had transpired so large that he had separated a soul from the body, a mother from her child, and a god from his devotee? Hadn't he cared about her?

She spoke softly, tears falling across her rosy cheeks, "Sakha Babu, I fulfilled your dream. Our dream. I became a gold medalist barrister. I don't know what happened in these 8 years, but I know that you are sinning by separating a devotee from her god. Our relation has fought all odds, why not this one? Was our love this weak to be sacrificed in the flames of agony? This relation was ours, we build it through the barriers set by the society, then how can you choose to end it in a snap? How could you end it without even considering of my anguish? Relations are built on trust, on care, on love, and they don't end just by a mere declaration. How can you be so selfish? Answer me, right now!", she completed, shouting slightly, her eyes filling with pain and disappointment.

Mere Yaaraa Mere Yaaraa
Maan Ja Na Mere Yaaraa

He had changed, in her eyes. Now, he was someone who saw people, didn't understand them. He saw eyes, but didn't read them. He saw emotions, but didn't possess the sacred heart he was blessed with, to care of those sentiments. He had a golden heart, but right now, he was only stone hearted. And in no way, was she going to forgive him just like that. She needed her answers.

"You're right, maybe I am no one to you, but don't forget that you are everything to me! Doesn't love end all hatred? Then what happened to your virtuous being and it's thoughts now?", she ended, as her tears threatened to fall out of her brown pools, yet she tried to control them. But, in the process, a single tear fell, onto his hand.

That was it. He had lost it now. He could fight the entire world, but not her tears, nor her anger, which is why he stood like a child, listening to her rant. Before she could burst out into uncontrollable sobs, he pulled her in a tight hug, as if protecting her innocence from the evil eyes.

He was her perfect home, and she wouldn't chose to be anywhere else other than his arms. Nothing had mattered now, not the enemity, not the years of distance, nothing. It was only them.

He broke the hug, wiped her tears with the back of his thumb and spoke, his voice breaking, " I-I'm s-so-sorry Bondita. I'd never thought of what would happen to us, to you. I was so lost in enemity that I forgot that love is much more powerful. Please forgive me, I-I I'm ready for any punishment you give me, but before that, I need to confess something. I love you, I love you Bondita, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I'm so proud of you for making our dream a reality, Shabaash Bondita.. I-I" he was swelling with pride by the end, but was cut off by her soft tone.

Hona Hai Jise Woh Ho Jaane Do
Khona Hai Isey Toh Kho Jaane Do
Door Se Toh Hoga Nahi
Thoda Toh Kareeb Aane Do

Ho Lakhon Mile
Koyi Bhi Na Tumsa Mila
Oh Mera Yeh Dil
Teri Oar Chalta Gaya Na Ruka

"Shh... you don't need to be so guilty Sakha Babu. You realised your mistake, I'm glad. I simply wanted my old Sakha Babu back. And, I need to confess something too. I love you too Sakha Babu, very, very much." She smiled happily and shyly, her smile reaching the corners of her eyes, her tears now coming to a halt as she wrapped her arms around his torso, resting her head against his.

Neither had wanted to break this hug, one much needed after 8 years of agonizing silence of words. The moment was theirs to cherish, to hold, to reminisce forever in their hearts. This time was also theirs, and they wanted to treasure it with the depths of their hearts.

He broke their solaced hug, and deeply looked into her eyes, in deafening silence, and lightly kissed her forehead, and she closed those eyes to feel her soul flutter all over. Then, he looked into her eyes, asking for consent.

As if she read his mind, looked through his heart, she closed her eyes, and feverently pressed her lips against his. He skillfully let his tongue explore her scented and sugary mouth, as he pulled her closer- if possible- to his chest, as her hands found his hair. She was shivering by the intensity of the kiss. It was fiery, passionate, and had shaken them to such an extent that they knew they were each other's for the rest of their lives, and so were their souls.

Their souls had found their way back home, after a long journey through turns and tests of love. In a returned solace, they had lost themselves in pure, sweet ecstasy.
