(We start off at Cerise park's flower garden where we see a bunch of Pokémon relaxing such as the three dustox, pinsir, heracross, butterfree and both exeggcutor as well as bellsprout and oddish as Ash, Goh and (Y/N) are spraying them with water as well as nearby there is (Y/N)'s Kirlia, hattrem and kangaskhan who's showing her child the flowers)
Goh: does it feel good?
(We see grookey jumping up and down in excitement)
Ash: water's the best, don't ya think.
(They see Goh's red, blue, orange and yellow flabebe fly by as they look)
Goh: look at that, are the flabebe having a race?
Ash: yeah do your best everyone.
(They stop flying as they're covered in a blue light as they evolve into floette)
Ash: awesome they evolved
Rotom phone: floette has been registered to your Pokédex. Floette, the single bloom Pokémon, a fairy type. Floette flies around fields of flowers caring for the ones that aren't getting enough water. It battles by using the innate power of flowers.
Goh: great all five flabebe have evolved into... wait a minute buy where the white flowered flabebe? Hey flabebe! (The white flowered one appears as it tries flying but is struggling a lot as Goh catches it as Ash holds onto him so they don't fall off the bridge into the water potentially causing more damage)
(Y/N): uh Goh I think there's a massive issue for flabebe (points at it's flower)
Goh: it's flower is missing a petal!
Ash: no wonder it couldn't fly so well
(Flabebe looks sad)
Ash: now what will you do?
Goh: there's nothing else for us to do but find another white flower
Ash: but where do we find it? I don't see any around here.
Goh: I bet we find one near Kalos where I caught flabebe.
(Flabebe looks up at him)
Goh: don't you worry flabebe we'll get you a white flower for sure
Ash: let's go find flabebe wits flower!
(Y/N): let's go adventure...
Ash: off to Kalos!
Ash/(Y/N)/Goh: let's go!
(In Kalos)
Goh: hmm I'm sure I caught flabebe right around here. Do you think you'll be able to show me where the white flowers you like are?
(Flabebe tries flying but can't as Goh catches it)
Goh: flying on that flower is dangerous. (We see Goh put flabebe's flower into a container) once it's on top of the flower it wants to fly.
Goh: you're right, that's why I'll keep this flower safe.
(We see flabebe on Goh's shoulder look sad until it goes onto his hair and holds onto the two parts sticking out at the top)
Ash/Goh: up there?
(Meanwhile (Y/N) is laughing his ass off)
Goh: what's up?
Ash: it must be more comfortable up there because it's got your hair to grab onto.
Goh: really? My hair?
(Starts pulling causing Goh to lean in one direction)
(Y/N): (pointing and laughing) you're like a giant flower! (Laughs more)
Goh: are you trying to say...
Ash: I think it's saying "forward march"
Goh: yeah makes sense, it wants to pilot me instead of the flower. Oh what do you know I'm suddenly marching hut, hut, hut.
Ash: good going flabebe keep it up.
Goh: I wonder where we'll end up marching to.
(Grookey hops on and tries but Goh is in pain as Grookey pulls one way but flabebe pulls the opposite)
Goh: ow that hurts! Grookey! You're pulling too hard! Stop! Stop! OWWW!
(We cut away to them walking)
Goh: is this the place?
(We see flabebe freak out as big rocks are there and no flowers)
Ash: you're serious!
Goh: are you telling me you found your flower where that boulder is?
(Flabebe is freaking out more)
(At a Pokémon center)
Goh: who would've predicted a boulder would land on that very spot.
Ash: and there wasn't a single white flower in the area, we'll find some place else.
Goh: we've only just begun the search so cheer up, ok?
(We see the sad flabebe holding oran berry it's size as Goh looks sad until he gets an idea on how to try and cheer it up)
Goh: oh flabebe would you like to give this yummy honey a taste?
(Flabebe shakes it's head as Grookey tries to help by jumping on Goh in the process knocking flabebe off and pouring honey on Goh's hair and styling the top parts that flabebe was holding into different things causing flabebe to laugh)
Ash: flabebe laughed!
(Y/N): wait to go grookey
(They're all laughing and giggling as Goh is looking and smiling at flabebe who is laughing)
(Timeskip: in a room on the phone to professor Cerise)
Cerise: I see. An unforeseen complication, huh.
Ash: what do we do? Is there any other place it blooms?
Cerise: hmm the problem is white flowered flabebe aren't seen much so hardly anyone has found their flowers.
Goh: that's too bad.
Cerise: but we'll research what we can and if we find anything we'll be in touch.
Goh: thanks professor. (Hangs up and then sighs) it sounds a lot harder than I thought it'd be.
Ash: yeah but we gotta try
Goh: you're right.
(Y/N): we won't stop until flabebe has a new white flower.
Goh: we'll all go our own ways and search for another spot
(We cut to them sleeping as Goh wakes up to see his flabebe moving about and talking in it's sleep)
Goh: flabebe?
(We then see Goh and flabebe go outside while the others sleep)
Goh: just where is it you want us to go? (Looks at his phone to see flabebe looking sad) I know, it's not easy to sleep. You know, the air at night is pretty nice. It's not the same as the day time it's just... kinda special. Why don't we take a short walk.
(They head off for their walk)
(We cut to the next day to them rushing and looking for a white flower by a meadow of flowers similar to the one at the Cerise park)
Ash: we're gonna look everywhere for flabebe's white flower!
(Y/N): and we'll stop at nothing!
Goh: there's no doubt that we'll find it.
(We see them checking flowers)
Ash hey Goh, (Y/N) come here! (They show a white flower but it shakes it's head)
(They find a tiny one but it shakes it's head too, they then find a giant one but it shakes it's head no, Pikachu finds one but it shakes it's head, and no to grookey's)
Ash: what about this?
(Flabebe shakes it's head no once again and this continues for awhile for every white flower they find is not the one as they sigh)
(The next night)
Ash: we searched hard and didn't come up with a thing. Although there were plenty that looked right.
Goh: but for flabebe they weren't right, ya know. Maybe we should go back to the lab and work on a new plan.
(Y/N): you know my Florges when it was a flabebe was similar
Goh: really?
(Y/N): (laughs) yeah. She was very protective of her flower it never broke but she was very protective of it and that's how she usually got defeated in battle by being separated from her flower as she would take the attack head on instead of her flower getting hit, even as floette but it's personality changed once it got to Florges when it became less protective and I guess it didn't carry the flower to fly on anymore but yeah, so I can sort of understand in one way how flabebe feels.
(Flabebe pulls Goh's hair as he smiles and pours some drink in a bottle lid for flabebe to drink out of)
Goh: here. (Raises it as flabebe drinks it)
Ash: it sure looks happy.
Goh: you're right, flabebe seems to be enjoying it's perch upon my head. Flabebe don't worry you can stay up there for as long as you want until we find your flower and even if we never find it.
(Flabebe looks sad)
(Y/N): Goh don't say that, have a little optimism I don't think flabebe needs a bit of potential realism just right now. (Sees gligar and corvisquire return) never mind. Maybe some potential realism is good right now. Buuuut we won't give up just now either, there's always tomorrow.
Ash: what if somewhere down the line you start floating like a flower
Goh: that'd be fantastic!
(Flabebe sees it's old flower and sees that it's broken and looks sad again)
(They are sleeping as grookey whacks Goh with his stick while asleep waking Goh up in the process)
Goh: that hurt.
(He looks at his bag which is near Ash's and (Y/N)'s as the flower and flabebe are missing all that's left remaining is an open, empty container)
(We see Goh walk around looking until he finds his flabebe hopping around on the flower trying to fly as he watches it try over and over again but to no avail until Goh catches it as it's about to fall once again)
Goh: I understand. Even though I don't mind, being on top of my head isn't what you really want. Tell you what tomorrow we find you a new flower.
(Flabebe hugs the top of Goh's hair as Goh smiles as he is knelt down and looking out at the moon)
(The next day)
Ash: that all happened last night? Wow, I'm sorry but I didn't hear anything.
(Y/N): me either.
Goh: well it was really late and come to think of it I went for a walk with flabebe the night before as well. I wonder if it prefers the night. (His phone rings and he answers it) professor Cerise! Did you find something.
Cerise: yes. I managed to get in touch with someone who knows about white flowered flabebe flowers
Goh: alright!
Ash: who's that?
Cerise: they are at a plant lab, I'll send you the info.
(They arrive)
Goh/(Y/N)/Ash: hello?
Woman: welcome. I hear you've come quite a long way, I heard everything from professor Cerise
Ash: huh?
Goh: a Florges! Flabebe 's final evolved form.
Rotom phone: Florges, the garden Pokémon, a fairy type. Long ago the governors of castles invited Florges to help with their gardens which they built by working together.
(Florges and flabebe see each other as Florges floats up slightly and gets flabebe and holds it in it's hands)
Woman: it's alright, just watch.
(They arrive at this big garden area where Florges places flabebe on a tree branch as it puts it's hand together, in the air and then back together as the ground below it and the surrounding area is covered in a green light as flowers begin appearing, growing and blooming around)
Ash: that move. Was it grassy terrain?
Woman: that's right, it's a wonderful way to give energy to all kinds of plant life.
(Y/N): that makes so much sense
Goh: wow, Flabebe looks really happy.
Woman: all 3 forms love flowers and love along side them. Flabebe is drawn to flowers, floette raises them and it's said Florges spends it's entire life protecting flower gardens.
(We see flabebe and Florges looking at each other)
Woman: actually that Florges lost it's orange flower as a flabebe a long time ago.
(Y/N)/Goh/Ash: huh?
Woman: they're almost as rare as white flowers so finding another one was quite a task, I'm sure that's why Florges is so drawn to flabebe, they're so similar. These are Florges' flowers. I don't seem to have the talent to make hem all grow so even with Florges' power I can't increase their numbers
Goh: alright then I'm going to find flabebe a new flower too.
Woman: yes about that. I saw data from a researcher I know saying if you head north deep in the mountains you should be able to find a patch of white flabebe flowers.
Goh: really!
Woman: good luck you guys.
Goh/Ash/(Y/N): yes ma'am thank you so much!
(Timeskip: they've head out and are currently on a bus)
Goh: isn't this great we'll be sure to find them this time.
(We see flabebe trying to copy Florges)
Goh: hey that's grassy terrain isn't it, you were imitating Florges weren't you.
Ash: flabebe admires Florges
Goh: and someday it'll have to make a garden of it's own too.
(They traverse across the land on foot as we see corvisquire and gligar flying above them)
(We cut over to a Dedenne running by as the gang turn a corner)
Goh: this is supposed to be the area but I can't seem to find anything that looks right.
Ash: Pikachu we're looking for white flowers. If you see them let me know.
(Pikachu agrees)
(Y/N): gligar, corvisquire get an aerial view.
(Grookey runs ahead as they follow it)
Goh: woah did you find them?!
(Grookey points at some flowers that haven't bloomed)
Ash: but they're pink
Goh: that's not right.
(Y/N): drat.
Ash: let's search over there.
Goh: sure.
(They walk away as flabebe looks back at the flowers that haven't bloomed as it gets late and Noibat fly about)
Goh: I was hoping for a patch but we haven't found a single flower.
Ash: that's true but she did say they don't grow all that easily
(Pikachu and grookey look sad)
(Y/N): have you found anything?
(We see gligar, corvisquire and a Noibat he's just caught shake their heads)
(Y/N): I see so the extra pairs of eyes and echolocation hasn't helped much then. That's alright, just alert me if any of you see any white flowers.
Goh: I hope they didn't all wilt for some reason, that'd be awful.
(Flabebe looks up at the sky as flabebe tries to get Goh to go back)
Goh: what's going on.
Ash: I think it wants to go that way.
(Y/N): maybe it knows something we don't?
Goh: but that would just be heading backwards.
(Grookey hops on and pulls Goh by the hair backwards)
Goh: ow, ow! Okay! Okay I said!
(They head back to the flowers that are not bloomed)
Goh: but we already saw those flowers
Ash: but they're not white, they're pink.
(The moon comes out and as the moon shines brightly the pink flowers begin to open up to reveal white flowers as they're all stood there amazed)
Goh: pink flower buds blooming into white flowers during the night time? So that's how it works
(Y/N): so that's why white flowered flabebe are so rare not only are the flowers rare but they only bloom at night. Amazing.
(Goh puts flabebe down )
Goh: climb aboard , go.
(Flabebe chooses a flower and hops on it and pulls it off and begins flying about on it)
Goh: you did it, wow.
Ash: you got a white flower.
(Y/N): and you found it way better than we did, good work flabebe.
(They see another flabebe come out)
Goh: another?
Ash: it has no flower.
Goh: maybe it's choosing a flower for the very first time
(Y/N): this is quite an experience to witness
(It lands and gets the white flower and talks to Goh's flabebe and then flies away)
Goh: bye, you take good care now.
(Y/N): safe travels.
(Flabebe floats down and looks at the only white flower left)
Goh: but that only leaves a single flower left for here.
Ash: you're right, I wish there were other flowers too but...
Goh: what would happen if they vanished completely
(Flabebe has a look on it's face as it gets into a stance)
Ash: isn't that...
Goh: it's grassy terrain.
(Flabebe is coated in a blue light as it evolves into floette)
Goh: it evolved into floette.
(Y/N): in a time of great need a Pokémon can push itself to a whole new set of heights, it's truly inspiring to see.
(Floette remembers what Florges did as it copies)
Goh: look at that.
(Floette has learned how to use grassy terrain as it's used as two more small pink buds appear)
Ash: awesome it used grassy terrain
(Y/N): way to go floette!
Goh: floette you're amazing.
(Floette is on Goh's palm looking at him as it looks at the white flowers as does Goh as he remembers the woman's words and has a serious face)
(Flashbacks)
Woman: "Flabebe is drawn to flowers, floette raises them and it's said Florges spends it's entire life protecting flower gardens "
(Then he remembers his own words)
Goh: "someday it'll have to make a garden of its own too"
(Flashbacks end)
Goh: (smiles) I know, you wanna stay here and protect those white flowers don't you.
(Floette nods)
Ash: (looks sad) Goh.
(Goh however nods his head)
Goh: if that's what floette wants then that's what I want too. We can't let those precious f,owners of yours either can we.
(Floette smiles as Goh is sad but still smiling)
(We then see the three trainers and floette)
Goh: we'll let you go now floette.
Ash: thanks for seeing us off. You do your best.
(Y/N): yeah (rubs the top of Floette's head with one finger since it's so small) if we ever meet again I wanna see all the flowers you've made and protected, you'll do an amazing job.
Goh: take care of yourself.
(We see grookey crying and waving as floette begins tearing up)
Ash: (to grookey) you really care about floette a lot about floette don't you.
(Y/N): what do you expect they both love making plants and they're friends and no matter what it's always hard to say goodbye to friends.
Goh: (rubbing grookey's face) I do too grookey, that's why we'll give it a good goodbye. That way floette can give the job it's all and someday when all of us comeback know what we'll see, floette's beautiful white flower garden. Right.
(The teary floette nods)
Goh: goodbye. Take good care
(He raises his arm up in the air as floette floats up into the sky as they look at each other one last time before floette flies away into the forest as they wave goodbye)
(Y/N): (puts a hand on Goh's shoulder) Goh.
(Goh looks to see a teary eyed (Y/N))
(Y/N): I just wanna say you handled that so well. I've only ever said goodbye to a Pokémon once and I didn't handle it anywhere near as you did. (Remembers a certain Pokémon)
Goh: (sad) thank you.
(Y/N): (sad but smiles) no problem.
(Timeskip: they went back to Kanto as (Y/N) is on his own)
(Y/N) POV
(He hears some pleas from in the distance as he sends out his Corvisquire, Noibat and gligar to check it out until a few moments later as he's closer to the commotion he hears an attack from a Pokémon as we see gligar, Noibat unable to battle and corvisquire damaged a lot)
(Y/N: return! (Returns the three) who did that to my Pokémon!
(We see an all too familiar face and a familiar bisharp)
(Y/N): Brad.
Brad: oh look at what we have here. Another weakling.
(Y/N): (grits his teeth) what're you doing.
Brad: none of your business.
(We see two scared scientists)
(Y/N): leave them alone.
Brad: make me. Bisharp use night slash!
(We see bisharp go to use night slash but pawniard appears from nowhere and uses night slash to block bisharp as it has a cold piercing flare that would scare most regular opposition)
Brad: the other runt is here too. Want another beat down just like before and all the way back then.
(Pawniard is angered)
(Y/N): let's do this together pawniard! We need to stop him.
(Pawniard snaps out of it, calms slightly and nods, as it begins to charge in)
(Y/N): pawniard use night slash!
(Pawniard uses night slash as leaps at bisharp who also leaps at pawniard)
Brad: use night slash.
(Bisharp uses night slash as they clash once again and seem to be even)
Brad: you've gotten stronger. (Smirks) but it's not enough.
(We see bisharp beginning to push pawniard back)
(Y/N): now!
(We see pawniard slip past bisharp and strike it in the chest area knocking it backwards)
Brad: lucky shot.
(Y/N): now use metal claw!
(Bisharp movepool: night slash, brick break, psycho cut, metal claw)
Brad: you use metal claw!
(The two attack but bisharp hits before pawniard does. However pawniard recovers and gets a lucky strike on bisharp's face as the two are at a standstill as both of their attack power increase)
Brad: bisharp use psycho cut!
(Bisharp fires psycho cut but instead of at pawniard it's at the ground)
(Y/N): pawniard use night slash!
(Pawniard readies night slash)
Brad: brick break!
(Nothing happens for a good few moments until out of nowhere pawniard raises it's night slash to it's right as we see it's hit bisharp who tanks the hit and grabs both pawniard's hands)
Brad: now.
(Bisharp uses brick break on the pawniard's back as it's eyes widen and it is in immense pain and even bisharp stopped attacking as pawniard is rolling out in immense pain screaming as it gets a flashback)
(Flashback: Unova)
(We see two other pawniard beaten down and defeated as it's the last one not unable to battle as we see this trainer and bisharp, who was their (the pawniard's) leader, we see bisharp brutalising, bashing, slamming, pummelling pawniard until we see this pawniard unable to stand)
Brad: finish it.
(We then see bisharp use brick break as the back of pawniard cracks and we see the metallic like body of pawniard's back break slightly)
(Timeskip: after a long process of resting, being in and out of consciousness, pawniard's back is healed and all that remains is the scar on his back as he now has a cold glare)
(Flashback end)
(We see pawniard in pain)
(Y/N): pawniard!
(Pawniard in pain slowly looks over)
(Y/N): it's okay I'm here for you! Let's do this together! We'll show them you're not weak and that we're better! Together we'll just keep getting stronger and stronger (grins)
(Time stops for pawniard as it's eyes widen as it takes in (Y/N)'s words as it slowly gets up)
Brad: brick break.
(Bisharp use brick break but pawniard while getting up catches it and holds it in place with it's two arms as it looks up and knocks bisharp's brick break in it's face manoeuvres and kicks bisharp under it's chin)
Brad: (eyes widen and mouth open) huuuuuuh?!?!
(Y/N): (grins) the battle begins now. Pawniard use assurance!
(Pawniard uses assurance and deals twice the damage back from when hit by the brick break as bisharp is sent flying)
Brad: bisharp night slash!
(Bisharp crashes into a tree but immediately is charging and goes for a night slash but as it goes for a slash pawniard ducks under it)
(Y/N): night slash over and over!
(Pawniard rapidly strikes the same spot on bisharp over and over again with night slash)
Brad: throw it off!
(We see bisharp constantly trying to grab pawniard and throw it off as pawniard evades and keeps striking bisharp whether it's in the back, the gut, the back of it's head until it's eventually grabbed and thrown off)
Brad: now use night slash.
(Y/N): block it.
Brad: talk about naive.
(We see pawniard stand there as bisharp rushes towards as and strikes as loads of dust appears blocking the view but as it settles we see pawniard using iron defence and bisharp's attack not even fazing it)
(Y/N: metal claw!
(Pawniard uses metal claw striking bisharp)
Brad: you use metal claw too.
(We see the clash of metal claws as both Pokémon strike each other)
(Y/N): iron defence!
(Pawniard then uses iron defence when it's struck by metal claw but it doesn't do much)
(Y/N): again!
Brad: use night slash!
(It uses night slash as pawniard tanks it and uses iron defence)
(Y/N): use night slash!
Brad: use brick break!
(Both Pokémon charge in and use their attacks as it comes to a stand off with both Pokémon not moving as both have a serious look on their face waiting for the other to fall until a winner is decided)
(.... Pawniard falls to the ground unable to battle)
(Y/N): pawniard! (Rushes over)
Brad: tch, still pathetic as expected. Now back to business (he turns to the two scientist who we now also see are trapped)
(Y/N): no you don't.
Brad: you and what army! (Goes to throw a punch but (Y/N) grabs him and flips him over his shoulder and has him in an arm bar and as bisharp goes to intervene we see croagunk and Dragonite come over as they land by their trainer as (Y/N) releases the hold as Brad gets up holding his arm)
Brad: bisharp get ready.
(Looks to see bisharp breathing a lot and it falls to one knee as we see under one of it's eyes pawniard has left a small but deep wound that'll scar over like bisharp did to pawniard long ago)
Brad: (scowls before gritting his teeth) tch, let's just go. (Returns bisharp into it's pokeball and he walks away)
((Y/N) frees the scientist as they thank him)
Scientist 1 (male): thank you so much.
Scientist 2 (female): we can't thank you enough. I don't even own a Pokémon so here take these rare special items. (Hands him something)
Scientist 1: and here I don't have much use for this but you seem to. (Gives him something)
(Y/N): are these what I think they are!
Scientist 1: yes what I gave you is a razor fang.
Scientist 2: and the things I gave you are a protector, magmeriser, electirizer and some reaper cloths.
Scientist 1: we better get going now.
Scientist 2: good day and thank you.
(They leave)
(Small amount of time later we see pawniard wake up but it stays still lying on the ground looking up at the stars)
(Y/N): hey pawniard are you okay?
(Pawniard doesn't respond as it seems lost in it's own thoughts as it seems to get angrier and sadder as it does whatever a pawniard would do as the equivalent of clenching it's hands)
(Y/N): pawniard?
(Goes to reach out but pawniard hits his hand away and in a rage with tears built up in it's eyes it runs away)
(Y/N): pawniard wait! (They chase after it as they follow it but with pawniard's small size and agility after a long chase (Y/N) can't see or find it anymore)
(Y/N): pawniard? Pawniard! We need to look now!
(Timeskip: we see Ash and Goh helping out as they all look after (Y/N) has explained the situation over the phone)
(A couple hours later)
(They meet back up)
(Y/N): any luck?
(They both shake their heads no)
Ash: nothing
Goh: we're sorry
(Y/N): it's okay
Goh: it's getting late, we'll look again tomorrow.
(They all head back to the lab as we see them asleep in pyjamas as we see Goh and Ash asleep)
(Y/N) POV
(Nightmare)
(He's in a field where he sees all his current and past Pokémon until suddenly he sees pawniard fading away then cuts to him chasing after pawniard and about to reach out to it until he trips and pawniard goes further and further away disappearing into the darkness as he desperately shouts and pleas for it to come back)
(Nightmare over, well the one that was haunting him in his subconscious but no this nightmare of reality as the events replay in his mind as he gets up and heads back out to look)
(Many hours later)
(We see it's still night time as Ash and Goh see (Y/N) not in his bed as they head out and after ages of looking see a tired, hungry (Y/N) on the floor unable to walk and reduced to a crawl with his clothes, which are a pair of his travelling clothes, muddy and torn up)
Goh: (Y/N) this needs to stop right now! We can't look for pawniard tomorrow if you end up in a serious condition.
Ash: yeah you're only going to get hurt.
(Y/N): (crawling with a serious look) I don't care because I'll never give up on one of my Pokémon if they're in a bad state physically and mentally, I'll try to help them, even if it costs me my life!
Goh: go! (Sends out oddish) oddish sleep powder.
(Oddish uses sleep powder on (Y/N) as he keeps crawling)
(Y/N): no... I won't... give up. (His eyes begin to slowly close) pawniard (his voice gets quieter) pawniard. (His head falls to the ground as he's asleep)
(Back at the lab we see them in their beds with (Y/N) under the effects of sleep powder still and tied up with lots of string shots from Goh's caterpie)
(Meanwhile: someplace else)
(We see pawniard tired but determined look back to see nobody as it looks back ahead and sees a train as it sneaks on)
(Timeskip: in a forest after some rest we see pawniard running, attacking trees and training to hone it's craft as get stronger until it stops and looks up at the moon and reflects as this pawniard that once despised humans and bisharp has come a long way as it's human hatred has petered out and turned it's hatred for Brad and Bisharp, this pawniard has a whole new desire to get stronger. While the friendship, trust and bond it has with (Y/N) didn't help it win, it definitely got closer)
(Pawniard hasn't given up on it's trainer as we see Pawniard think of (Y/N) and the speeches and the memories as the reason pawniard ran away was not only of the combination of self hatred and shame and the fact it once again failed to beat bisharp but that it couldn't look it's trainer in the eyes as it failed to help with the promise of beating bisharp and getting stronger together)
(Pawniard may think it's weak now but that's why it'll train and get stronger so it can reunite with it's trainer better and help fulfil that promise and more, that's it's new goal and desire. To get stronger for (Y/N) and help him to becoming one of the strongest trainers ever but first it needs to take a break and better itself before it returns to (Y/N) once again)
