It's Christmas time at UA
Class-A is having a party
plates of food decorate the dorm as the students converse and mingle
(I could delay the chapter to draw Ben in his Christmas costume or I could just post this picture I made a few months ago back when Albedo was originally supposed to attack during Christmas as reference to what he's wearing with obvious alterations to Ben's)
"They're telling us to do work studies." Kaminari sighs. "We must be the busiest First years in UA-history."
"Yow two are going back to Ryukyu, right?" Jiro asks Tsuyu and Ochaco.
"Yeah," Ochaco responds. "What about you, Jiro?"
the garbage troll, Mineta snaps a picture of the girls
"Christmas eve is the best!" he mutters looking at the readers.
(I was gonna have a scene where Ben casually erases the memory on Mineta's phone with a finger zap from an electrical alien.... only to realize I haven't given Ben an electrical alien(Upgrade and chromastone don't count) yet...)
"Midoriya, what will you do?" Iida asks. "Since Nighteye agency..."
"Centipeder took over there, right?" Ben inquires. "Then you can see him again!"
"Yeah that's what I thought, too," Midoriya nervously chuckles. "But..."
he seems to break into a flashback about how the agency is overworked and can't take on any interns right now.
"I did my first internship with Gran Torino, but he can't do it either, so right now I'm still in limbo..."
"I see...." Ben sighs.
"But unlike last time, when it was optional," Midoriya continues. "Its an assignment this time, so the school will introduce me to someone."
meanwhile in the background Mina tries to get Bakugou into his costume
which is just as effective as trying to get a cat into a Christmas costume
"Oh?" Kirishima mutters cutting in on Ben and Midoriya's conversation. "Oh, then.... Bakugou, will you go with best Jeanist?!"
Bakugou turns to Kirishima in fury but his face suddenly becomes solemn
"I haven't decided yet..."
Kirishima turns to Ben
"oh yeah... Ben, are you coming back to Fat gum?" he asks.
Ben looks at the wall for a second. "I actually don't know...." he sighs. "I sort of want to explore my options... I know after working under the number 2 hero my first internship that might sound weird, but I feel there's a lot I can learn from having different work study experiences..."
he begins fiddling with the Omnitrix
"Hawks was fairly hands off, I only ever actually encountered 1 or two villains." he says looking at Ghostfreaks symbol
"and Fat gum was far more eventful and it was a friendly environment...." he stares at Echo Echo's silhouette. "But I made certain mistakes that I'm still dealing with the consequences of... so in all honesty I'm still thinking it over..."
"I'd even go work under Captain Fukusen." Ben laughs off. "And he doesn't even--"
"HEY!" Mineta exclaims slamming the table. "It's a holy night! Don't keep talking about school stuff tonight!"
"That's a new point of view for you..." Kaminari sighs.
"He's right!" Ben says for once in his life actually agreeing with something the grape-flavoured Poptart pervert said. "Let's just enjoy the party."
some time passes before someone arrives
"Sorry we're late..." Aizawa says opening the door peeking into the dorm. "Have you started already?"
everyone turns to see Eri in an adorable Christmas costume.
"Trick-or.... treat?" Eri murmurs before turning to her dad-- I mean Aizawa.
"No, you mixed up the holidays." Aizawa corrects.
"SANTA ERI-CHAN!!!" everyone exclaims in unison
"S-So cute!" Ochaco blushes sliding toward Eri like the overused "Discord mod slides into a 14 year old girls DM" Joke I keep overusing.
"It looks good on you!" Midoriya adds.
"Demons out! Demons in!" Eri exclaims throwing beans around the room.
"No," Aizawa corrects again. "That's not for another two months."
"Is Togata with you?" Kirishima asks.
"Togata is with his class." Aizawea responds.
"Go on, have fun." he tells Eri.
Eri nods as she joins the party
"So fluffy and cute!" Ochaco purrs
"I painted some eggs." Eri states.
"That's easter!" Ochaco corrects while still accepting Eri's eggs.
the girls surround Eri as she enjoys the party.
Class 1-A party into the night
The class even have a gift exchange.
Eri gets a big ass anime sword
at about 11PM Ben changes out of his Costume and gets into a jacket before leaving with a bag.
"Leaving already, Ben?" Mina asks.
"Yeah, I just need to deliver these presents to someone then I'll be right back." Ben responds holding up the bag. "I wanna leave before Aizawa wakes up and remembers we have a curfew."
"Come back soon or you'll miss dessert!" Ochaco adds.
Ben leaves UA and gets on a bus across the city.
he arrives in a familiar field and walks through until he comes across a crater.
he slides down still holding the bag
he walks over to what remains of Big Chill's nest and places the bag in front of it before looking up into the night sky
there's a tag on the Bag
it reads

"I don't know if you guys are still up there or have gone to wherever Big chill comes from, but I figured I'd leave this here.... Just in case you come back...."
he opens up the bag revealing a mound of assorted metal
"I don't know how Villain-bot tastes, but I've managed to swipe some bits that fell off during training exercises... I also used Lodestar to find some higher quality scrap if that stuff tastes better or something...."
Ben lets off a sigh as he puts his hands back in his jacket pockets
"Anyway..... Merry first Christmas Kids.... if Big Chill's species even has Holidays...."
Ben Climbs out of the crater
"That was real sweet, Tennyson." a familiar voices greets.
recognizing the voice Ben activates the Omnitrix turning to see Albedo.
"What are you doing here?" Ben snarls.
"Merry Christmas to you too...." Albedo sighs. "Is it too much to believe I had the same Idea?"
Albedo holds up his own bag of Metal shards.
"We split after Big Chill gave birth, Technically they're my kids too..."
"Please don't make it weird..." Ben sighs rubbing the bridge of his nose.
"I think we surpassed weird after we Asexually reproduced and then split into two individuals...." Albedo responds.
Albedo throws the bag into the crater "I didn't have some sappy speech though, just wanted to leave them food if they ever come back, I care about our offspring."
"C-Can we just fight now?" Ben groans trying to ignore the utter bizarreness of this situation.
"Thought you'd want a break from this stuff..." Albedo sighs. "It IS Christmas after all..."
"Trust me, Shigaraki and the rest have no idea about this, I just know Twice and Toga would want to meet them or something..."
"So you've teamed up with the league!" Ben retorts not backing down.
"Well, I have been meaning to test this out on you." Albedo says looking at the Ultimatrix
without a word Ben steps away from the crater dialing up a transformation before pressing down.
"HUMUNGOUSAUR!!!"
"Huh..." Albedo sighs looking up at Humungousaur. "So we're bringing in the big guns immedietly..."
Albedo steps away from the crater before matching the transformation
"HUMUNGOUSAUR!!!"
the two towering beasts glare at each other
Ben-Humungousaur prepares to charge before Albedo-Humungousaur holds up his finger
"I wanna show you something." he says
an intrigued Ben-Humungousaur stands his ground
"What you have now is basic Humungousaur.... Powerful, but still has untapped potencial, potential the Ultimatrix can unlock..."
he twists the dial on his chest
the core pops out before he slams down transforming again
"This I call ULTIMATE HUMUNGOUSAUR!"
