~ BEYONCÉ KNOWLES POV ~
November 15
"We're supposed to be having the dinner at Nicki's house at 8" I told Kelly over the phone.
"Well you know I'll be there. But how's boogey?"
"She's sleeping now but she good, been crawling all over the place" I said setting my phone up on the shelf in my closet, as I searched for an outfit.
As I went to pull out one of my shirts the sound of Lani's cries filled the air through the baby monitor.
"Hold on Kelly" I told her walking out of my closet and to the nursery.
"Aww what's wrong Boogey?" I asked, patting her back as I walked out the room and back to my closet. After a few minutes she still wouldn't calm down and I was starting to get worried.
"Is she sick Bey?"
"I-she isn't warm or anything and she's not teething so I don't know what's wrong. Calm down baba you're ok" I cooed, rubbing her back.
I glanced at Kelly for a moment then Lani suddenly went silent.
"Kay'lani!"
"What happened!" Kelly yelled
"She's crying but she isn't making any—Kay'Lani! Oh my god" I realized she was not breathing and was still trying to cry but nothing was coming out. I lifted her up and patted her chest to get her to let the breath go but she wasn't.
I wasn't trying to panic but...
"Her lips and fingers are turning blue Kelly what do I do?" I frantically asked sitting Lani up on my leg hitting her back hard enough to try to do something. "Breath Boogey, breath"
"Blow on her face Beyoncé"
I didn't question her and began to blow air onto her face as I simultaneously rubbed her chest. "Come on baby" I tried again and she went completely still, her little face turning pale.
I brought her to my chest and hit her back with more force than usual, until she finally let out a cry. I let out a something mixed with a sob and a breath of relief as I leaned back against the couch watching the Blue fade away.
"Is she breathing?" Kelly asked. I honestly forgot I was on the phone.
"B-barely, but her color's coming back. How long has it been?"
"Uhh forty five seconds"
"I need to take her to the doctor and see what the hell that was and if it's going to keep happening" I said cradling Lani to my chest while I wiped my face off. I don't think I'll be able to go through this scary experience again.
"I called Ju, he already on the way"
"Thank you"
"No need to thank me Bey just get my boogey to the doctor"

"So what Kay'lani experienced was a breath holding spell. Now a breath holding spell is when a child holds their breath, usually after being angry, frustrated, startled, or in pain. Sometimes the breath holding leads to the child passing out. But in this case she didn't which is good because you were able to prevent it. I know it can be frightening to watch your baby go through a breath-holding spell, but they aren't harmful and usually last less than a minute."
I took a breath as I listened to the doctor explain what this breath holding spell is and how to help Lani get through it if she were to have another one in the future.
"Thank you so much I'm just happy she's going to be ok"
"Yes ma'am and if that's all you guys are free to go"

1 WEEK LATER
~ ONIKA MARAJ POV ~
November 23
Bey and I both bathe Lani as she babbles and plays in the water and bubbles as Bey washed her hair and body. I watch them interact and am in awe of their bond. When Beyoncé moves Lani watches her. I play with her for a bit until the water starts to get cold and she starts to whine. She loves the cold but hates to sit in cold water.
Bey hands Lani to me wrapped in a fluffy towel and I carry her to the room. I diaper and dress her in a warm sleeper. Maybe she will sleep for my baby if she stays warm. I sit in the rocking chair with her and read her a book. She pays close attention and snuggles against my chest. I wrap the blanket from the back of the chair around her and finish the story before Beyoncé walks in and my boogey abandons me once again.
"Maaaammma!" Lani reaches for her mother and I can't help but smile. She loved Beyoncé so much and their relationship is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
"Hi Boogey!" Bey kissed our baby all over her face making her giggle. "Are you ready for bed?"
I move to get out of the chair, but Bey has other ideas. She sits on top of me and starts nursing Lani. I chuckle at her and kiss her shoulder. I wrap my arms around both of them holding Bey around her waist and rubbing Lani's back. The only sounds in the room are Boogey's suckling and the humidifier in the corner of the room.
"I love you." Bey whispers.
"I love you, more."
"I was talking to boogey." She smirks and I fake being hurt. I know she meant us both. I kiss under her ear and hold her tighter.
"We have to clean up, my love." She sighs before carefully standing. Lani isn't asleep yet but she's on the way.
"Don't remind me." She said rolling her eyes.
The kitchen wasn't even that bad, we just had to put the food up, wipe the counters off and sweep. Our mothers didn't let anyone wash the dishes so they did them before they left.
After she sung a little lullaby Lani was knocked out. I popped her Paci in her mouth and Bey laid her in her crib.
~ UNKNOWN POV ~
I watched the oh so happy family through the window in utter disgust. Never would I have thought she'd leave me for a woman. She didn't even try to fix this relationship.
But I got something for that.
"I unlocked it before I left so you can go in" my connect said over the phone. I thanked him before I hung up and placed my phone in my pocket.
Once they laid the baby in the crib and left out I carefully lifted the window and climbed in, and made my way towards the baby and just stared at her for a second.
"She should've just listened" I mumbled picking the baby up and went back out of the window.
~ BEYONCÉ KNOWLES POV ~
"Something feels off" I mumble dumping the dustpan in the trash. "Nic do you feel that way or is it just me?" I asked looking at Nicki. I don't know why, but every since I put Lani down I been having this bad feeling. She looked up from wiping the counter and stared at me for a moment before answering.
"I feel like something is going to happen or it already happened"
Before I could even begin to open my mouth to answer her, my phone dinged indicating I got a text.
The message confused me so I showed it to Nicki.
"I had to?" She said in a questionable matter.
"That's what I'm saying what does that even mean?" I was really drawing a blank here.
I just put my phone down and left that alone and went to go check on Lani. Ever since her breath holding spell happened I've been keeping a closer eye on her then before. I don't want to be an over bearing parent, but I just don't want her to go through another one and I'm not there to help her.
I head to down the hall and into the room and I noticed two things. One my baby isn't in her crib, two the fucking window is wide open.
I was damn near panicking as I stood in this room.
"Nicki! Somebody took my baby!" I screamed out running to the kitchen.
"What!"
