BARDOCK VS VEGETA
THE SAIYAN RENEGADE ROSÉ
Vegeta punched Bardock in the chest, sending him crashing through several destroyed buildings.
Goku: It's pretty spooky to watch a guy who turns out to be your dead Dad getting beat up.
Trunks: Hey, Y/N. Do you think Zamasu is controlling Bardock?
Y/N: I don't know. Whis and Beerus don't believe it, but his energy feels just like Bardock's. It has to be Zamasu. But Beerus won't let me do anything without evidence, so the most we can do is watch.
Bardock blocked Vegeta's blows. Vegeta kicks Bardock into a wall, unloading several punches, one of them striking right on the mask, breaking it further, freeing one-half of Bardock's mouth. Suddenly, Vegeta jumps back
Vegeta: W-what the... I sense something
Bardock breaks free of the wall and lands on the ground. Bardock dusted himself off before charging at Vegeta, kicking him in the stomach like this
Trunks: YOU OKAY!?
Bardock walked slowly toward Vegeta, and for the first time, he spoke, his voice sounded like Bardock's, but the words he spoke didn't sound like anything he would say.
Bardock?: For a lowly animal, you've come quite far, prince. As a reward. I'll show you how far I've come!
Bardock began to power up, the black aura reforming around him
Y/N: T-THAT ENERGY! IT'S ZAMASU'S! IT HAS TO BE!
The area around Bardock turned purple, the ground around us shaking harshly. With a powerful yell, Bardock was engulfed in a pink aura.
Vegeta: WHAT IS THIS?!
Trunks: H-HE'S CHANGED! A NEW FORM!?
Bardock laughed before he spoke again, but this time, his voice sounded... almost British?
Bardock?: What do you think of it? Quite the color, huh? In keeping with how you like to label your power levels. I call this form... Super Saiyan Rosé!
Trunks: Super Saiyan Rosé?!
Bardock clenched his fist with a maniacal laugh
Bardock?: At last, I have not only mastered Y/N's power, but I have also made it my own! Go on, Y/N! Rejoice! Only through me will you finally reach the pinnacle of beauty you have sought for so very long
Y/N: I've already found the pinnacle of beauty, and let me tell you she's far more beautiful than you, faker!
Caulifla next to me blushed profusely but kept her expression stern
Bardock?: Of course.. your mind is far too small to comprehend what stands before you! Your kind is incapable of understanding, the grandeur of my success and the glory of my cause! Y/N: He definitely isn't Bardock, the hell is he rambling about?!
Vegeta: BARDOCK! WHAT'RE YOU DOING TALKING TO Y/N!? YOUR FIGHTS WITH ME!
Bardock?: Aw, you don't understand, Saiyan! Your time is already at an end! You were the opening act, now get off the stage!
Vegeta charged at Bardock, who dodged the punch
Bardock?: YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR PLACE!
Bardock swung at Vegeta, who grabbed Bardock's fist, smoke generated from the impact
Bardock?: What?!
Vegeta unloaded several blows on Bardock before landing an uppercut
Vegeta: I'M NO OPENING ACT! I'M THE STAR OF THE DAMN SHOW!
Bardock smirked, and suddenly, a spirit sword-like attack stabbed right through Vegeta's chest
Vegeta: Y-you.... how'd you do that!?
Bardock?: Calling you the opening act is a weak metaphor. It's much more like.. you're just the appetizer. That's right, a light introduction before I commence with the main course!
Vegeta: Y-you vile bastard!
In one last desperate attempt, Vegeta swung and landed a weak punch to the mask, Bardock ripped the blade from Vegeta's chest, causing the Prince to cough up blood before he went crashing down to the ground.
Trunks: FATHER!
Bardock?: You've helped me refine my palette and made me that much stronger! Now watch as I consume the main dish and rise to an even greater level of power still!
Trunks: I'm going in!
Y/N: Caulifla, keep Trunks here and go check on Vegeta, I'm going in, if things go south, jump in.
Caulifla: You got it!
I power up to Super Saiyan Blue and fly up to look my grandfather in the eye
Y/N: I take it every blow I land, all the pain I inflict upon you, that's what makes you stronger, is that right?
Bardock?: I am already at a level no mortal can even dream of reaching!
Y/N: YOU'RE NO GOD! YOU'RE BARDOCK, MY GRANDFATHER!
Bardock?: The one you call Bardock is gone! There is only me now!
Y/N: LIAR!
I throw several blasts which he slices with his spirit sword. I dash through the smoke but he swings his sword at me, slicing part of my gi before kicking me to the ground.
Y/N: H-he's strong.. Zamasu must've done something to him, no way Bardock could reach this power on his own!
Bardock lands on a building across from me, charging up a Final Spirit Cannon, but the blast wasn't blue like it should be, it was Rosé
Bardock?: FINAL SPIRIT CANNO-
???: That's enough.
Suddenly, a familiar voice appeared from thin air
???: I will not allow you to act on your own any further.
A bright light erupted from the sky, and out appeared Zamasu himself
Goku: Is that the Zamasu guy Y/N talked about!?
Y/N: I KNEW IT!
Zamasu: We had an agreement! Wasn't I supposed to be the one who gets the honor of destroying him?
Suddenly, Bardock no longer spoke, looking back at me, his pink eye no longer an expression of hate, but one of desperation.
Y/N: Zamasu!
Zamasu: I came here specifically to see you!
Y/N: I knew it from the moment I saw you! You're controlling Bardock!
Zamasu: Aren't you a quick study? Indeed! Bardock here is my experiment! The mask he wears on his face allows me full control of his actions! And since you broke half of it, I was able to take full control of his speech
Goku: So that's why he sounded so strange!
Y/N: YOU'RE A MONSTER!
Zamasu: *laughs* Monster. Such a naïve word. He's been merely my vessel for my crusade of justice!
Y/N: Call it what you like! You'll pay for what you've done!
Zamasu: My wait is almost over. Soon, the world I've been dreaming of for so long will be made manifest! A truly just and perfect utopian existence!
Y/N: What's that supposed to mean?!
Zamasu: Mortals are unnecessary, and more than that, UNWELCOME IN MY PARADISE!
Y/N: If you believe that mortals are so unnecessary, why kidnap Bardock?!
Zamasu: Bardock here has the spirit of a true warrior, his mind was the perfect vessel to exact my justice! Fueled by the power of the gods I bestowed upon him, he is truly divine!
Y/N: HE'S NOT YOUR VESSEL! HE'S YOUR PUPPET! I HATE TO BURST YOUR BUBBLE, BUT I WON'T LET YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT! I'LL FREE BARDOCK OF YOUR CONTROL AND TAKE YOU DOWN, ZAMASU!
I charge right at Zamasu
