Your eyes opened slowly, you were partially blinded by the light bouncing off the walls and into your eyes.
When they did eventually open, you found yourself with a face full of steam, tied up, a bar in your mouth and without a shirt.
The fuck is going on? I was just with Levi and Nifa...
"Ah Historia, it seems we are finally alone." You heard a familiar voice say.
Is that... Rod??
True to your belief, Rod Reiss walked towards Historia, a gentle smile on his face.
"Father.." Historia muttered. "How could I ever do this? How could I eat my own sister?!"
You slowly turned your head, to your left was Eren and Frieda, you immediately started thrashing.
"Oh? It seems he is awake." Rod turned to you, pulling out a syringe.
"FATHER PLEASE! I CAN UNDERSTAND EATING ME BUT WHY Y/N?!" You heard Frieda call, Rod turned to her with a low expression.
"Your term is nearly over, Eren's father here tried and nearly succeeded in killing us all the day you went to Shiganshina. He needs to be punished for his father's sins. And Y/N? You know why yourself Frieda, he was only meant to hold the absorption titan temporarily, he can't use it's full power, until you learnt to eradicate the power Uri made... There's no way Y/N would allow us to go free after this ordeal, he seems to be fighting right now."
Damn right you were fighting, it may not have accomplished anything but you sure as hell weren't willing to back down.
"Hey hey hey, now wait a damn minute!" You heard a gruff voice call, you saw a man descending with ODM gear, the same man who shot you on the rooftops.
"Kenny..." Rod muttered.
"You know damn why I want one of the kids to live. And here you are trying to get him eaten. I know that this succession ceremony involves titans, and so that's why I think there should be a fair fight." Kenny made his way up to you, taking out the gag and slicing your forehead. "If Y/N wins, then he and the others go free. If not, then you can have your reign of power."

Lightning struck around around you, illuminating the hall as your titan burst from around you.
You grabbed Rod and clasped him tightly, just before getting out of your titan and taking the syringe.
"Alright you fat sack of shit, I have plenty of questions to ask you, but Frieda can answer most of those. But for these ones..." You hardened your foot and kicked him, smashing part of his jaw to mush, taking several notes from Levi. "Why don't you answer them as a titan? Obviously you'll need a few cuts though..."
You continued to beat the old man yelling slurs and curses at him as you did so.
"YOU REALLY TRIED TO TRICK HISTORIA INTO BECOMING A TITAN HUH? MY OWN GOD DAMN SISTER-IN-LAW! YOU REALLY FUCKED UP WHEN YOU GOT ME INVOLVED WITH THIS TITAN BULLSHIT, EVEN IF I WASN'T, I WOULD STILL BE CAPABLE OF BEATING YOU TO A BLOODY PULP! YOU GAVE ME ANSWERS, HOWEVER. THE ABSORPTION TITAN CAN MANIPULATE THE ABILITIES OF OTHERS?!" Rod looked shocked as you yelled, he had never seen you this angry. "GUESSING BY YOUR FACE THAT'S THE FULL POWER YOU SPOKE OF, MAYBE IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE BLOOD OF THE REISS FAMILY BUT I PROBABLY ABSORBED IT FROM FRIEDA OR HISTORIA!! YOU FAT FUCK!!!!!" You continued to beat him till you grew bored of it, you had set Eren and Frieda free during this time.
"Now let's see how you like three titan shifters beating the shit out of you." You grabbed the syringe and injected him, jumping off as you bit into your hand and transformed.
Frieda did the same, but Eren decided to wait until you two were done.
Rod grew and grew and grew. He didn't stop growing, soon enough he was shattering the roof of the cave.
"Y/N WHAT THE FUCK?!?!" You heard Levi yell, he zoomed towards you with ODM before getting smashed into the wall by the enormous amounts of steam being let off.
The rest of the 104'th followed suit.
Shit, they couldn't have taken a few minutes longer? For fucks sake!
You grabbed onto Frieda and pointed to the scouts, she nodded and huddled over them. She started hardening her whole body, the crystal sheen spreading from her onto you, acting as a shield for your comrades.

You were pulled out of your nape by your allies at the same time as Frieda.
"Well, this definitely didn't turn out as planned..."
You turned to Levi, he was glaring at you.
"And what the fuck is going on here?" He asked, you owed him and the rest of the top 10 a explanation.
"Frieda, meet the scouts. Scouts, meet Frieda. The one who saved me as a child and presumably gave me titan powers."
You stepped away from the two parties, allowing them to interact.
"So you're this 'Frieda' Y/N mentioned every so often. The titan, I presume." Mikasa was the first to speak, stepping towards your sister-in-law.
"Indeed I am. You are?"
"Mikasa Ackerman, Y/N's adopted sister. I thank you for saving him during Shiganshina, if it means anything to you." Mikasa performed a short salute, before quickly stepping backwards.
You realised this would probably take time you didn't have to spare.
"Uh, sorry to interrupt, I probably shouldn't have introduced you to each other in the first place but we kinda have bigger issues..." You pointed to the now open ceiling as burning trees fell around you.
"He's right, we have to move now. Y/N, you keep your sister under control while we get back to the walls." Levi started handing out orders, mostly regarding the security of a way out.
"Which one?" You questioned. You had three sisters, none of which were specified.
"All of them."

The ride back was mostly silent, at least until you managed to break the silence.
"So uh... Frieda, what was that whole body hardening about and can you teach me and Eren it?"
Frieda perked up and began to pay attention.
"I suppose so, give me your hand."
You did as asked, Frieda grabbed onto your hand and lightning started sparking from her hand up to your arm.
"As for Eren, I actually have something for him that will help with that." Frieda began reaching into her bag that she had taken from Rod while he was being beaten. She pulled out a bottle with a silvery substance labelled "Armour", handing it to Eren.
"Drink this when you need to harden your entire body. It will be most durable upon first use."
Eren nodded, looking at the substance before putting it in his pocket.
"Frieda was it?" Levi said, cutting in. "Do you think you could stop that giant asshole before he destroys the walls?" He said, nodding to the giant burning titan in clear view.
"Unfortunately not, the will of the first king of the walls would come into effect if I tried, the power of the founding titan has essentially been sealed off from me if I wish to remain myself."
You could tell Hange was taking notes, not that it mattered.
"So we can't contain it, far too big for that. Nor can we stop it with Frieda's titan. Historia, Frieda, I don't really wanna go through with this but we have to kill Rod." You muttered.
Frieda was grimacing at the thought and Historia had her hair down.
"At least I won't need to wipe Historia's memory every time I visit her from now..." Frieda muttered.
"H-huh?" Historia was confused, she had her memory wiped? When could it have been done?
"I suppose the same goes for you Y/N, though I only ever had to do it once."
"When was that?" Levi said, saying the question on your mind.
"When he was a child, just after saving him in Shiganshina, he inherited the Absorption titan from my brother Urklyn, who had reached his term's limit. I wiped his memory of the event to not arise questions and possibly incriminate the family. He has held the power ever since but only realised it was there a few months ago."
"Considering you know so much about it, what's the ability of Y/N's titan, we've seen giant, armoured, animal and female titans, so what's with Y/N and Eren's?
"Unfortunately I only know so much, Y/N knows the power of his titan and I would rather have him reveal it when he's comfortable to, though there are a few things he missed, mostly regarding his titan's constantly improving durability. Eren however, can see the future, or at least that's what his father said it could do when he came over, so many years ago. Though it is limited to needing to touch someone of royal blood to have it activate, which is why I wish to avoid making contact with him, messing with time could have disastrous consequences."
Levi nodded, quickly responding with: "Yeah, we wouldn't want this brat knowing exactly what we do and when, which gives him the power to get anything he wants..."

The remainder of the journey, past this point, was populated only by idle chatter between the downed Hange, Levi and Erwin, trying to formulate some sort of crude plan to kill the titan that threatened all of humanity.
Upon returning to the walls, a meeting was immediately held, during the preparation for it though, Levi addressed: You, Historia, Frieda and the rest of his squad.
"Historia, I forgot to tell you. There's something we need you to do."
"What's that?"
"It's a order from Erwin, once we finish off this titan. Seeing as you're the most suitable for the throne, Frieda having unknown intentions and Y/N only being applicable through law, not blood, and our own requirements for his powers. You will become the queen."
Sasha was quick to blurt out.
"Queen Historia!?"
"The coup d'état was successful, however people won't follow military rule forever. We need to give them a heart-warming story, one where the rightful heir retakes her crown from the pretender. So what do you think?"
(this next part should have happened earlier, but since this book follows your POV and I really like this scene, I'm putting it here since it also works.)
"It's impossible... I can't."
"Right?" Levi began. "Being told all of a sudden to become the most authoritative figure amongst the people of this world." He began stepping forward. "After all, there aren't very many people who could possibly answer, "Yes that's fine." But none of that's important." He bent down slightly. "Do it."
"I couldn't possibly do it."
"You don't want to?"
"I couldn't possibly..."
The situation was getting tense, and you were about to intervene and tell Levi to back off, until...
The man grabbed Historia by the shirt and lifted her into the air.
"Ugh!" Historia's words were caught in her throat as she suddenly ascended.
"Understood. Then run away." People were now all trying to get the captain to calm down, even tugging on his arms, none of which seemed to stop him. "Run away with all your power. Then we'll use all our power to chase after you, and use any method needed to make you obey."
You were reaching your limit, this short fuck had committed so many wrongs against you and your family that you couldn't take it. He had drafted you, assaulted you, ordered you around like a dog, threatened to kill your brother as well as assaulting him, and now this? That's as far as he would go, hero or not, captain or not. He was nothing to you.
"It seems this is your fate. If you dislike it, then fight. Try to defeat m-"
The man was cut off by being sent into the wall, dropping Historia in the process, everyone turned to see who had done such a thing, only to see you, your right hand arm extended and hand covered in crystal and bumpers along your fingers and back of your palm.
You were quick to follow through, dashing through the crowd to Levi and pinning him against the wall.
"Let's get one fucking thing clear Levi. I have no fucking loyalty to you or the survey corps, I was drafted here against my fucking will and will not hesitate to drop your puny ass right here, if I hear a god damn whisper about you even looking at my family in the wrong way again, I will not hesitate to slaughter you like the self-righteous pig you are. You're no better then the MP's you hate so much, if you pick on children, and I will not wait even a moment to tear down everything you love. Whether it's the walls, peace, your life. All of it will come undone in a matter of moments if you cross this line again. DO YOU FUCKING HEAR ME?? YOU SHORT BASTARD!!" Shifter marks were appearing on your face as you yelled, sparks flying everywhere.
You punched the midget again with your hardened fist before throwing him to the floor and kicking him in the head.
"And you can tell Erwin how you got that nasty wound on your face, I'm sure he AND the royal government would love to hear that story."
You quickly turned to Eren and Jean: "Make sure he doesn't do anything sudden."
The pair were horrified, enough so that they even saluted before apprehending Levi.
You bent down next to Historia.
"You okay?"
"Y-yeah. Thank you Y/N."
"No problem, let's get you inside."
You helped your sister up as Frieda looked at you, smiling and winking before also helping escort Historia inside.

The plan was simple, while Frieda was being detained, barrels of gunpowder would be launched at the Rod Reiss Titan's hands while Eren would throw gunpowder down it's throat, hopefully this would kill it. Though if not, you and several other soldiers, Levi not included due to being locked up for a short period for assaulting a minor, would use your new ODM design to fly between the ensuing chunks of meat, hopefully slicing the actual nape of the titan.
Cannons were fired and, as expected, they did next to nothing. The titan's guts fell out and sloshed over the wall, the gunpowder barrels weren't delayed though, as almost immediately after, the titan had slumped and the next stage could start.
Eren jumped over Erwin as he made a frightening pace towards the titan, quickly detonating the explosives from the heat the moment it entered the mouth.
You immediately jumped from the wall, using your gas to propel yourself upwards as chunks of flesh flew over you. A quick *zip* was all it took before you were flying towards the mass of meat at insane speeds, just before reaching it however, you disengaged and started spinning in all directions.

The chunk was shredded into multiple tiny pieces as you immediately zipped off again to repeat the process multiple times.
A loud boom was heard to your right, you quickly spun around to see Historia falling, seemingly unconscious.
You immediately dropped what you were doing and boosted over, Mikasa intercepting you and throwing you even further and faster.

Historia had thankfully landed on a giant bag of some soft material, you slowed your descent and landed on one knee besides her.
"You good?"
Historia began to stir, moving her arm off of her face as she begun to stand.
"My name is Historia Reiss, and this is my brother, Y/N L/N, I am your rightful queen!"
