Appearance
As Takemichi's elder sister Meiko and Takemichi share many a trait. Most notably their black wavy hair and blue eyes. A primary difference between the siblings comes in their eyes though, with Takemichi's eyes being a bit softer compared to his sister who tends to have a sharper look with hers.
As an adult, Meiko is a woman of average height and a fairly developed figure. Her hair is long, below her hips, and cut with layers near her face and tends to be seen with twin braids at the front to help frame it, and her hair is either loose or in a high or low ponytail in the back. She is noted to either be with or without her glasses as well. Her style of clothing can be noted as almost librarian in style if not with a bit of sex appeal. With her wearing turtle neck tops with keyhole fronts, and long skirts with an arm shawl and flats. She wears a set of butterfly studded earrings.
As a teenager, Meiko is a young girl of average height and a fairly developed figure. Her hair is somewhat long, just above her waist, and straightened by herself every now and again, but she retains her front braids. Her glasses are only worn when at school or home. She wears the Mizo Middle school's uniform, which consists of the white blouse and lacking the striped tie, a matching skirt and sweater, and with black tights with her black loafers while at school, outside school she wears black running shoes. She wears the same earrings as her adult self.

*This primarily comes from her being a consumer of English/American media from a young age, her parents making a habit of getting her English movies with Japanese subtitles after noting her interest. This leads to her having an interesting taste in old movies, and even having a better grasp when it comes to trying to speak the language as she willing takes classes to learn the language. Though she does carry a slight accent as a teen, as an adult the accent is much harder to appear.
-Meiko is far-sighted, but as a teen feels uncomfortable using contacts though she owns them. She suffers from headaches on and off due to her strict use of glasses only at home and school, due to a fear of breaking her glasses.
-She and her brother are what are known as Irish twins, the term refers to one mother having two children who were born 12 months or less apart. In the case of Takemichi and her, they are exactly one year apart.
*Meiko tends to joke about her brother owing her for highjacking her first birthday to be born.
