Once we got into the barn, there was a little boy, who I'm guessing is Harlan, floating in the air while a tornado of power spun around him.
"Harlan, it's Vanya!" Vanya yelled, "Look, Harlan, I know you're really scared, but I can help you. I need you to listen to me, okay? Can you do that?"
She walked into the power tornado to take care of Harlan.
"Uh... Guys?"
We all turned to see Klaus looking out the barn door.
"What?" Diego asked as we all walked over to him, "Ah, shit."
"What, who are they?" Klaus asked.
"One's the Handler, the others Diego's girlfriend," Five said.
"Lila. That's my ex-girlfriend," Diego said.
"That's the Handler? She looks different from how I pictured her," I said as I looked at her.
"You know what? Doesn't matter. They both look angry," Luther said.
Klaus nodded, "Yeah."
"Our brother has that effect on people," Allison said.
"I'm gonna go find out what they want. You guys stay here with Vanya and the kid," Five said.
"I'm coming with you, too. Come on," Diego said as he started walking out.
Five started to follow him, but I grabbed his hand causing him to stop and look at me.
"I'm coming too. Whether you like it or not," I said.
He sighed, "Fine, but stay close to me."
"I love the smell of that fresh country air, don't you darling?" The Handler asked Lila as we walked towards them.
"Makes me want to vomit," Lila said.
"What do you want?" Five asked them.
"To watch you suffer," Lila said.
"What about me?" Diego asked her.
She looked at him, "You're not even worth my wrath."
The Handler looks at me and smiles, "You must be Five's girlfriend. Y/N right?"
I slowly nodded.
"You're also siblings... that's weird if you ask me," she said.
I rolled my eyes, "Well, we didn't ask you."
She smiles, "You're sassy. I can see why you like her, Five."
"How about you tell us why you're here," Five said.
"We're here on official business," she said.
"At what business is that?" He asked.
"As head of the commission, I've decided to eliminate the criminal s responsible for the assassination of the former board of directors," The Handler smirked.
"Yeah, right, we didn't kill the board," Diego said.
"Uh, actually, Diego, that's not entirely accurate," Five said.
"You didn't tell them?" The Handler asked him.
Five shrugged.
"Oh, Five," she shook her head.
"Five, what the hell did you do?" Diego asked him.
"What I had to do to get my family home, Until somebody reneged on our deal," Five said.
"Somebody would,'t have reneged on the deal if somebody could've met a simple deadline. Alas," she smirked.
This fucking bitch.
"You set me up to fail," Five said.
"You set yourself up to fail, friend. You and your brothers and sisters. Kind of the running theme of your little life, isn't it?" She asked.
"You know, you're a real bitch," I said as I was about to hit her, but Five took my hand.
She smiled at me.
"Dude, I can't believe you killed the board of directors. You have no idea how messed up the commission is right now," Diego scolded at Five.
"Messed up? Who's saying that?" The handler asked Diego.
"Everybody," Diego said, "christ even the janitors think it's going to shit."
"That's not all he killed," Lila suddenly said causing us all to look at her.
"What are you talking about?" Five asked.
"Don't play dumb, you pubescent piece of shit."
"Enough!" The handler set down her briefcase, "The point is, all of you are going to die today. Hm?"
"Oh. Well, I don't like your chances," Diego said, "Eight of us, two of you."
"You know, you're right. Let's change that," she said before snapping her fingers.
A bunch of people started to appear all over the field.
"Holy shit," I whispered as we all watched them show up, "they're still coming."
"So, what do we do now?" Diego asked Five.
"Well, we got got two choices: fight and die now or run and die later," Five said, "either way, we're food for worms."
"Preference?" Diego asked him.
"Wouldn't mind a few more minutes breathing through the old windbags."
The handler interrupted, "All right, let's get this over with, shall we?"
She reached in her pocket and pulled out a red hankie.
"Run!" Five yelled as he grabbed my hand and pulled me with him as we took off towards the house.
Guns started getting fired at us.
"We're not gonna make it!" Diego yelled.
Five grabbed his arm.
"What are you doing?" Diego yelled.
Five blinked us closer to a tractor.
"Five, I think, I'm gonna puke!" Diego yelled.
"No time!" Five yelled back.
We ran behind the tractor and Five pulled me onto his lap.
"What now?" I asked.
"We blink into the house!" Diego yelled.
Five nodded, "Okay."
He wrapped one arm around me and placed his hand Diego's shoulder. He tried to blink us in, but it didn't work.
"What?" Diego asked.
"Shit, I'm out of fuel. I'm too tired," Five said.
"You two go! I'll... I'll cover for you," Diego said.
"What? No!" I yelled.
He got up and ran.
"Diego, what are you—"
"Go!" Diego yelled at us.
Five got up and took my hand. We ran towards the house while Diego held off all the bullets.
We ran inside and Five pulled me underneath the table. He held me in his arms and shielded me from the glass shards that were flying as the bullets hit the house.
I wrapped my arms around him and hid my face in his chest, "Five, I'm scared."
"I got you," he said as he held me tighter.
All the sudden everything went silent.
"Is it over?" I asked.
"I think so," Five said as he helped me out from under the table.
We both looked outside to see all the people from the commission dead and scattered around the field.
"What the hell?" I said as I got a closer look.
"What?" Five asked.
"The Handler and Lila are still alive," I said.
Lila rose off the ground and she turned blue as she built up some energy. She's mimicking Vanya's powers.
"Shit!" Five yelled as he pulled me down with him.
Luther came crashing through the ceiling and landed in front of the fireplace.
"Luther!" Five and I yelled.
"Luther, are you all right?" Five asked as we walked over to him.
Luther groaned, "Oh, I think I swallowed my tongue."
"Luther, if you swallowed your tongue, you wouldn't be talking you big moron. Come on, on your feet," Five said as he helped him up.
"Hey, what the hell happened? What was that?" Luther asked.
"She must've redirected Vanya's energy wave," Five said.
"Yeah, I know. But how?" Luther asked.
All the sudden the bricks on the chimney started to fall.
"Luther, Y/N. Watch out!" Five yelled as he pushed us out of the way and the chimney collapsed on him.
