CAULIFLA's CONFESSION

The sun rose over Capsule Corp, Caulifla slowly opened her eyes
Caulifla: *grumbles* W-what..?
Caulifla rubbed her eyes, sitting up. She looked around, sighing, she hadn't gotten used to waking up in such clean places. She grabs her clothes and quickly puts them on when she spots something on a coat rack across the room. A purple jacket, cut short, seemingly to show off the midriff of the wearer. On the left sleeve was the Capsule Corp logo. A note rested in the middle of the jacket.
"You have to be cold wearing that outfit of yours, so I am giving you this old jacket of mine." - Bulma
Caulifla smiled as she put on the jacket, it fit her decently well. She walked out of the room offered to her by Bulma and walked downstairs as quietly as possible. She heard construction in the other room, she peeked in the room to see Bulma working on Cell's old time-machine
Bulma: Oh, hi! Caulifla, was it? See you're wearing the jacket
Caulifla: Yeah, thanks for this, fits surprisingly well.
Caulifla examined the machine
Caulifla: What's this big ol' thing?
Bulma: It's a time machine! Made it myself, sorta. Y/N asked me to refurbish this old thing
Caulifla: You made a time machine?! That's incredible!
Bulma: Yeah! It hasn't been used in several years, but for some reason, he wants this thing repaired
Caulifla: Why?
Bulma: He didn't say, but who am I to say no?
Caulifla chuckled, sitting on a chair nearby. She took a deep breath before speaking again
Caulifla: So... how long have you known Y/N?
Bulma: Hmm... Since he was just a boy. His father, Goku had disappeared for a few years, living with his wife. One day, Goku showed up again with two kids, Gohan and Y/N. Y/N was 2 years old then.
Caulifla laughed
Caulifla: What was he like then?
Bulma: He was the cutest little thing!
Caulifla smiled at the thought of a little baby Y/N
Caulifla: I can imagine...
Bulma: Over the years, he became such a sweetheart, so caring and so kind. But he always loved watching his father train. When his father died, he helped me around Capsule Corp while also helping his mother raise his little brother, Goten.
Caulifla smiled
Caulifla: So... he's good with kids...
Bulma: Y/N has been a big helper for everyone all these years. Never complaining when someone asks something of him.
Caulifla: He sounds like such a nice guy.
Bulma: Yeah, he is. Why so curious?
Caulifla's face turned red. Bulma giggled, catching on quickly
Bulma: *teasingly* So... you like Y/N, do you?
Caulifla: *nervous* W-what..? No! Why would you say that?
Bulma: Your face, honey. You're bright red.
Caulifla looked away, causing Bulma to giggle again
Caulifla: A-alright! Yeah, I have.
Bulma smirked as she put her tools down
Bulma: When Y/N returned from your universe, I heard the way he spoke about you.
Caulifla: R-really? What did he say?
Bulma: Y/N spoke of this woman he met, she was hot-headed, over-confident, and quick to anger. But he also spoke about how powerful you were. That you became a Super Saiyan so quickly.
Caulifla's face burned hotter
Bulma: My husband left for quite a while to travel through space to become a Super Saiyan, but you did it so quickly.
Caulifla: Y-yeah.
Bulma: You know something. Saiyans, even a half-Saiyan like Y/N, are attracted to strong women, just ask Vegeta. *laughs*
Caulifla's eyes widened.
Caulifla: Wait, seriously?!
Bulma: Yeah, indeed. Saiyans respect strength, come on, you should know that better than anyone!
Caulifla nodded
Bulma: You should tell him how you feel, Caulifla. I guarantee you it'll go well.
Caulifla looks shocked but nods
Caulifla: Thank you, Bulma
Bulma: Any time.
Bulma smiles as Caulifla leaves Capsule Corp, a massive smile on her face
Y/N POV
Bardock stood in front of Frieza, Frieza's soldiers surrounded him
Bardock: THIS IS FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WE KILLED IN YOUR NAME! THIS IS FOR THE SAIYAN RACE! FINAL SPIRIT CANNON!
Frieza's massive blast easily overpowered Bardock's Final Spirit Cannon. The Renegade Saiyan was engulfed in the blast. I could hear the screaming when suddenly, something tears through space itself
Bardock falls right into the tear before it sealed itself up.
"Y/N! H-HELP ME! GAH!"

I sit up quickly in bed. These nightmares were getting more vivid. I rub my eyes and sigh before standing up. I go to my closet and put on some casual clothes
(LIKE I SAID IN CHAPTER 0, Y/N's CASUAL CLOTHES CAN LOOK HOWEVER YOU'D LIKE, PERSONALLY, I CHOOSE GOKU'S PRE-CELL GAMES OUTFIT)
I put on my clothes and walk outside, I was shocked to see Caulifla sitting at the mountain's edge
Y/N: Caulifla?
Caulifla: Y/N!
Y/N: What're you doing here?
Caulifla: You were right, it's nice out here.
Y/N: It is.
I sit down next to Caulifla
Y/N: When we returned from the Tournament of Power, I came here, and just laid in the sun. For the first time in months, I got to relax.
Caulifla: Sounds nice...
Y/N: How was Capsule Corp?
Caulifla: It was nice. That Bulma friend of yours is very nice.
Y/N: Always has been. She's been someone I can look to for advice.
Caulifla: It's still strange to me... Waking up somewhere that's clean, not surrounded by my gang.
Y/N: What happened to them anyway?
Caulifla: I disbanded the gang. Either they will change their ways or the Sadala Defense Force will arrest them.
Y/N: Must've been hard...
Caulifla: They weren't exactly happy. Some of them felt betrayed, but it was the right thing to do.
Y/N: I'm... I'm sorry, Caulifla...
Caulifla and I were both silent for a moment
Caulifla: C-can I... talk to you?
Y/N: Of course...
Caulifla opened her mouth but words didn't form at first
Caulifla: I... I don't usually talk like this.. or about stuff like this... I don't want to screw up our friendship
Y/N: So far, so good, champ.
Caulifla: Because I've kept quiet until now! I... I usually act before I think.
Y/N: I noticed that *chuckles*
Caulifla: I know... but I also need impulses to act on. I always seem to act on them but with you... I always play it safe..
Y/N: Why is it different with me?
Caulifla: B-because... I care about you, Y/N. I fear if I do or say something stupid, I'll be alone again, like how I felt before you showed up... I'd rather keep you close, if only as a friend, or teacher.
Caulifla looks off into space for a moment. I slowly lift my hand and place it on her back, causing her eyes to widen a bit.
Y/N: What're you trying to say?
Caulifla gave me a deadpan expression.
Caulifla: You know exactly what I am trying to say, don't you?
I chuckle
Y/N: Yeah, I do. I just want you to... actually say it.
Caulifla chuckled
Caulifla: *chuckles* You're an asshole, know that, Son Y/N?
I laugh
Y/N: Yeah, so I've been told
Caulifla: Alright, fine! I like you, Y/N! I really do!
My heart began to beat faster. I knew this is what Caulifla was trying to say, but hearing her actually admit it... it was something else... a different feeling.
Caulifla: I like you, okay!? I have ever since you barged into my hideout! I-I mean, you're hot, you're strong, you're kind! Every time we fought in the Tournament... I-I felt... I felt a way I'd never felt before. I felt... truly happy. I wasn't just fighting some random from one of those other universes... I was fighting you...
Caulifla looked away, her face completely flushed. I slowly run my hand up her back and up to the side of her face, she's shocked at first but she turns to face me again and proceeds to lean into my hand
Y/N: C-caulifla... I... I feel the exact same way.
Caulifla's eyes widened so much they looked like they were about to explode out of her head
Caulifla: W-wait, really?!
Both of us were silent for a second
Y/N: You.. gonna say something? Or are you too busy staring into my eyes?
Caulifla: W-what was that? I was too busy staring into your eyes.
Y/N: Oh, you beautiful bastard *laughs*
Caulifla wraps her arms around my neck, pulling me into a kiss. I was shocked at first but soon returned it. It lasted for quite a while before we both released
Caulifla: T-that was...Y/N... I love you
Y/N: I... I love you too.
Caulifla smiles even brighter, laying her head on my shoulder. I smile, gently brushing her hair out of my eyes. I wrap my arm around her as she places a hand on my thigh.
BSG POV
Y/N and Caulifla stared at the waves together, finally having confessed their feelings. A ways away, Cabba and Kale observed everything, both of them with a smile on their face
Kale: I guess both of us were wrong.
Cabba: 5 minutes is closer than one week, so you owe me.
Kale giggled, a smile on her face as she looked at Cabba
Kale: Whatever you say, Cabba.
Cabba: I'm just glad
Cabba reached into his pocket, grabbing his communicator
Cabba: Lady Vados?
After a few moments, Vados picked up on the other end
Vados: Yes, Cabba?
Cabba: Kale and I are ready to go back home now.
Vados: What about Ms. Caulifla?
Cabba: She... won't be coming back with us
Cabba could tell that a smirk crossed Vados' face
Vados: Son Y/N, I presume?
Cabba: Yup.
Vados giggled
Vados: I'll be there soon.
Cabba: Thank you.
TIME SKIP
A day had passed since Caulifla and Y/N confessed their feelings for each other. The two spent the whole day together, mainly talking. After a long day, the two fell asleep together for the first time. For both of them, it was the best sleep they had in forever. However, as the sun was beginning to rise, Caulifla was awoken abruptly.

Caulifla slowly opened her eyes, having heard a noise, a quiet groaning beside her. She rolled over, seeing Y/N asleep, twitching slightly, letting out quiet mumbles and gasps. Caulifla quickly pieced it together, Y/N was having a nightmare. She slowly moved her hand over, grabbing Y/N's hand, and holding it gently. Y/N's eyes slowly opened up
Y/N: H-hmm?
Caulifla: Morning, sleepy-head.
Y/N sat up, stretching and rubbing his eyes
Y/N: Did I wake you?
Caulifla: Yeah.
Y/N's face turned red in embarrassment
Y/N: S-sorry about that. Quite a first impression, waking you up the first time you sleep in here.
Caulifla: Were you having a nightmare or something? You were mumbling in your sleep
Y/N: Something like that.
Caulifla sat up as well, locking eyes with Y/N before grabbing his hand again
Caulifla: Tell me. What does someone as strong as you have nightmares about?
Y/N chuckled a little before sighing
Y/N: It seems no matter how strong I become, it never translates to my nightmares.
Caulifla: How so?
Y/N: In my nightmares... I'm always the weak one. It's always the same. Someone strong arrives, someone dangerous, and I can't do anything to stop them. Either I'm too late, everyone I know and love is dead before I arrive, or I try and fail to stop them, and have to watch everyone I love get taken away from me, one by one.
Caulifla's eyes softened as she listened to every word that Y/N said
Y/N: I had one the day I stayed at your hideout
Caulifla's eyes widened
Caulifla: You did?!
Y/N: Yeah... Normally in my nightmares, it's like... my mother, dad, and brothers who I see die, but... then... it was you and Cabba.
Caulifla's eyes widened further
Y/N: You were already dead when I arrived. I showed up just in time for Cabba to tell me to run.
Caulifla took a deep breath before clearing her throat
Caulifla: So... who was the big bad that killed us?
Y/N: You won't believe me... but it was Jiren
Caulifla: Jiren? You hadn't met Jiren yet, right?
Y/N: No, I hadn't. I saw Jiren in a nightmare before I ever met him
Caulifla: Strange stuff always happened around that ugly, gray bastard.
Y/N: I'm sorry I woke you up. I... didn't know I mumble in my sleep
Caulifla: It's fine. Trust me, it was a whole lot harder to sleep in my hideout. This was... the best sleep I've had in years.
Y/N: Yeah, same.
Caulifla and Y/N both smiled before Caulifla planted a quick kiss on Y/N's lips
Caulifla: Come on, let's get up.
Y/N POV
I nod, sitting up. I grab my shirt and pants, both of us getting dressed as suddenly, a voice erupted from outside
???: Y/N! Y/N, ARE YOU HERE?!
Caulifla: Is that your brother?
Y/N: Yeah, that's Gohan! Come on!
Both of us get dressed and ran outside
Gohan: Y/N!
Y/N: Gohan, what's wrong?!
Gohan was about to reply when he spotted Caulifla
Gohan: Wait, aren't you the girl from Universe 6?
Caulifla: Yeah, name's Caulifla.
Gohan froze for a moment, his eyes widened after a moment, clearly he pieced together what he saw
Gohan: Oh! Y-you two are..?
I nod my head, Gohan chuckled a little before clearing his throat
Gohan: Focus. Y/N, we have a problem.
Y/N: What's wrong?!
Gohan: It's Trunks.
Y/N: What happened to Trunks?!
Gohan: Not our Trunks
It took me a second when I suddenly realized what Gohan was talking about
Y/N: HE'S BACK?!
Gohan: Yeah! Dad told me to come to get you. They're at Capsule Corp.
Y/N: Alright, got it!
Gohan flies off back home
Caulifla: No more rest for you, huh?
I smile
Y/N: I guess not.
I place my hand on her shoulder
Y/N: Come on!
I place my fingers on my forehead, preparing to use Instant Transmission when suddenly, Caulifla walked around and hoped on my back, wrapping her arms and legs around me
Y/N: W-what're you doing?
Caulifla: Come on, humor me.
I laugh
Y/N: Alright, piggyback ride it is! Hold on!
We both fly off, headed right for Capsule Corp
