Prologue
"Something has changed brother..." Heavens oracle to Michael the Archangel as he stared down at the realm of men. "Great darkness is coming."
"It will take the form of a child... a child conceived of our fallen brother's flesh." Michael, heaven's greatest warrior the angel who struck Lucifer from Grace, stood tall next to the seer, eyes glazed over staring deep into a long forgotten past.
"He is incapable of reproduction!" Michael sneered.
"They all are. Father made sure of it!" Venom dripped from his every word, even now thousands of years later and the Fall was still a gaping wound to the Angel's pride and he's long unblemished record of service.
"I know not, what has changd but I am certain. Lucifer, has sired a child yet to be born. Whether this child will bring great calamity or great fortune is still unclear." The seer shook his head, he's long white hair spilling over he's shoulders.
"Do not speak, that name in my presence!" Michael lashed out. "You just said, the child would be of darkness." He continued to sneer at the seer and his maddening riddles.
"Of course, it will be his child after all. But the child will also be human and thus have the power to choose."
Rolling his shoulders, Michael unfurled his wings. They were monstrous in size but beautiful none the less a pure white beckon upon the cloudless sky.
"It matters little, the child must not be allowed to live. I refuse to even imagine what he would do the power, it will give him. His hold on the mortal realm is much too strong as it is!" He glared at the seer.
"I will end this threat before it, begins." With that Michael took to the sky.
