A TRANSCENDENT LIMIT BREAK
Kefla stood tall but I fell to my knees, unable to move
Kefla: Y/N!
Kefla runs over to my side, placing her hand on my back
Y/N: I... can't.. stand up...
Kefla: Damn it... You rest up, Y/N. We'll handle this bastard ourselves...
Kefla stood in front of me in a defensive position.
Jiren: That Android chose to sacrifice himself just so you three could keep fighting. And for what?
Kefla didn't answer, still trying to catch her breath.
Jiren: You've already seen you can't compete with my strength, no matter how many of you weaklings team up or fuse. Now one more has fallen, and yet you still intend to stop me?
Kefla: That's right. And we'll be the ones to do it! Then once you're gone, we'll eliminate Universe 7 and claim those Super Dragon Balls.
Jiren: You can't.
Kefla: Your confidence... IS PISSING ME OFF!
Kefla began to power up but suddenly stopped
Jiren: Skipping your usual transformation
Kefla: WE'RE MORE THAN A MATCH FOR YOU LIKE THIS!
BSG POV
Kefla charged at Jiren and swung, but her punches had no real power behind them, due to her exhaustion, but despite that, she refused to let up
Jiren: This is pointless, you should just exit the ring!
Kefla: SHUT THE HELL UP, BASTARD!
Kefla's punch is grabbed by Jiren
Jiren: If that's how you want it, then fine. I'm done playing games.
Jiren uppercuts Kefla
Y/N: NO!
Kefla falls out of the ring but lands on some floating debris, gripping onto a crack in it
Kefla: W-we can't be done.. our power.. was limitless...
"THIS FEELING'S INCREDIBLE! SO MUCH ENERGY SURGING INSIDE US, IT FEELS LIKE ITS LIMITLESS!"
"THIS POWER FLOWING THROUGH US! IT'S FREAKIN' AWESOME! NOBODY IN THE COSMOS CAN STOP US NOW, NOT EVEN THAT BASTARD JIREN!"
Kefla: W-was I... lying to myself..?
Kefla heard Y/N's words echo through her head, but Jiren's voice began to distort and warp.
"What's wrong, Kefla? Is that all you can offer me?!"
"Reach as high as you want, you can't beat what I am now."
Kefla: We... we can't be finished... not yet!
Kefla slowly got to her feet
Kefla: We swore to Y/N that we'd help the Seventh get you out of this Tournament and that's what I plan to do! NEVER SELL THE SAIYANS SHORT!
Kefla wiped some blood off her face
Kefla: T-that pathetic punch of yours didn't hurt one bit!
Y/N: K-Kefla... No..!
Kefla charged at Jiren but was immediately met with a punch to the face. Kefla slowly got back up
Jiren: You can't win...
Kefla: No.. but we can lose.. over and over again, as long as Y/N finds time to recover
Jiren: You seem to fight for Son Y/N. Why? Paying off a debt, proving him wrong? Or something more?
Kefla: SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH!
Kefla ran right back at Jiren, and every time she went to hit him, she was met with a powerful hit to herself, but she didn't let up. Jiren blocks a few punch attempts before unloading punch after punch to Kefla
Y/N: K-KEFLA.... NO...
Jiren chops Kefla in the shoulder, bringing her to her knees
Jiren: Need I say it again? You stand no chance of winning.
Kefla: Even if we don't.. even if we don't land the finishing blow.. as long as Y/N survives.. that's fine by us...
Kefla faced Y/N, she had a smile on her face
Kefla: You never told us... what will you do if you win this?
Y/N: W-what..?
Kefla: What would you wish for, if you win this whole tournament, I mean?
Y/N: I-I want.. to bring back the erased universes.. and their inhabitants.
Kefla smiles
Kefla: I guessed so.. and with that out.. we're more than happy to die if it means Y/N wins this!
Kefla grabs Jiren's arm, but Jiren powered up, causing Kefla to lose her grip. Jiren spun Kefla around and punched her right in the face. Kefla went flying back, flying over the edge, crashing into several rocks before the gold plating of her boots caught the edge of a piece of debris, keeping her in the tournament.
Grand Priest: Contestant Kefla is still in contact with a part of the ring, therefore, she is still in the tournament!
Kefla weakly opened her eyes, seeing everything was upside down
Kefla: N-no more close calls...
Kefla dragged herself back up onto "solid" ground and slowly got herself back to her feet
Y/N: K-KEFLA..
Jiren: This battle is already over, Saiyans. You know it's futile and yet something pushes you on. What is it?
Kefla: Good question... Even if I told you, you wouldn't understand, because you're just a cold-blooded monster! YOU WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO FIGHT FOR OTHERS!
It was merely the Caulifla half of Kefla that kept her going, her Kale half wanted to do as Jiren said and jump out of the ring. Kefla heard Y/N's words echo through her mind
"Good try, try again. Keep getting back up, no matter what."
Kefla clenched her fist and powered up another Gigantic Burst. Kefla launched the attack, which Jiren took head-on, but Jiren still showed no signs of injury
Kefla: DAMMIT!
Kefla punched Jiren, but Jiren blocks the punch
Jiren: As your foe. I must acknowledge the power of your pride. But it's over.
Jiren punched Kefla high in the air, and a loud cracking sound erupted, Kefla defused back into Kale and Caulifla
Y/N: NO!
Jiren aimed his hand at the two Saiyans
Jiren: Get lost, both of you.
Jiren launched a blast from his hand, throwing both Caulifla and Kale over the edge of the ring
Y/N: CAULIFLA! KALE!
Caulifla looked up, slowly raising her hand
Caulifla: Y/N... we tried... tried to buy you time... I just hope it was enough...
Caulifla put the last of her energy into her hand and threw it at Y/N, granting him the energy to get back up.
Caulifla: W-we failed... don't you fail too...
Caulifla and Kale went out of bounds and landed in the stands on top of each other
Cabba: CAULIFLA! KALE!
Cabba quickly helped both Caulifla and Kale up to their feet, but soon, the realization set in as the Grand Priest began to speak
Grand Priest: Caulifla and Kale, collectively known as Kefla of Universe 6 has been eliminated. Universe 6 is officially out of fighters and shall be obliterated.
Y/N watched in horror as white auras surrounded the Sixth Universe. The first to speak was Cabba.
Cabba: You taught me so much, Master. Good luck, Y/N.
Cabba disappeared before Y/N's eyes. Tears began to form as he heard Caulifla speak to him.
Caulifla: Y/N... I'm sorry... I failed you
Y/N felt like his heart stopped as he watched Caulifla, as well as the rest of the Sixth Universe, disappear from existence. Y/N clenched his fist hard enough for blood to seep through his fingers
Y/N: Cabba... Kale... Caulifla! I could've saved them... If I was just stronger..!
A tear ran down Y/N's face as he slammed his fist into the ground, causing it to crack
Y/N: I swear... I'll get the Super Dragon Balls... and bring you all back..! I SWEAR IT!
Y/N stood up and powered up to Super Saiyan Blue, nothing but rage in his eyes
Y/N POV
Jiren: They entrusted you with their energy. More foolishness dressed as valor. Trust provides nothing but a path to the grave
Y/N: Stop lying to yourself, Jiren!
I rush at Jiren, fueled by anger. I swing at Jiren, he blocks all my blows but I also block his. I backflip and launch a few ki-blasts. He breaks through them and tried to punch me, I use Instant Transmission and teleport behind him but he kicks me in the stomach. He uppercuts me into some rocks, causing me to power down from Blue
Tien: Even with Caulifla's energy refueling him, he still can't stand up to Jiren.
Piccolo: If it keeps up like this we're done.
Jiren: Is that pitiful display all you can do?
I slowly get back up to my feet
Y/N: I'm standing here because my team trusts me! Because Cabba, Caulifla, and Kale trusted me! Trusted I could find a way to pull this off! I'll win because I refuse to let them down! I WON'T FAIL!
I launch a blast at Jiren that he easily deflects. I rush at him. He dodges my first and second attacks and punched me in the stomach. He punches me in the face over and over
He nearly pushes me over the edge but I jump to some floating blocks but he continues his assault. Suddenly he stops, my vision was beginning to get blurry
Y/N: I-Is... that all you... got..?
He punches me right in the face, my foot sliding to the edge.
Jiren: It's over...
Jiren powers up, his fist coming right at my face. Suddenly, I began to hear voices. The first of them was Jiren.
"Trust provides nothing but a path to the grave"
Next was Android 17's final words
"Sacrificing myself to help others. Look at me, being all human."
Then, Cabba's final words.
"You taught me so much, Master"
Next, Vegeta.
"SHOW HIM YOUR SAIYAN PRIDE!"
Then Father.
'YOU'VE GOT THIS, MY SON"
Then Frieza.
"Dance for us, Monke"
Then Gohan.
"Come on, Brother!"
Lastly, the one that hurt the most, was the final words of Caulifla.
"Y/N... I'm sorry.. I failed you"
Y/N: CAULIFLA!
The final words of Caulifla echoed through my mind over and over as a familiar power overcame me
BSG POV
Jiren's fist nearly hit Y/N's face but suddenly, he disappeared
Jiren: WHAT THE-?
Y/N was right behind him. Y/N turns around, taking a deep breath as a familiar glow surrounded him
Jiren turned to face Y/N before rapidly swinging at him, but Y/N dodges every hit
The punch sent Jiren stumbling back
Krillin: D-DID YOU SEE THAT?! He didn't just dodge Jiren's attack, he landed a huge punch on his own!
Goku: He's like a whole new fighter!
Y/N stood confidently in front of Jiren. He glared firmed as the aura reformed around him
Y/N's eyes never left Jiren's
Goku: IT'S THE SAME WAY HE LOOKED BEFORE, WHEN HE FIRST FOUGHT JIREN, AND WHEN HE FOUGHT KEFLA!
Whis: Well, I can't say I expected to see Y/N reach this pinnacle a third time. Honestly, I assumed your universe was doomed.
Beerus: All right. You've milked this long enough. SHOW US YOUR ULTRA INSTINCT, Y/N!
