At the base of the towering one-kilometer tall Charlemagne tree, stood Xylma, a spellcaster agent.
Three hundred meters away, she used a powerful telescope mounted at the top of the tree to observe her superior, the President of the modern-utopia Philippines, with worry.
The President was facing off against a Demon Lord and its powerful subordinates, who were also a scion of the Demon Empire with a powerful background, as stories of heroes would suggest. It was crucial to tread cautiously in this situation.
However, Xylma's expectations were betrayed when she saw the President, Luna, handily kill the three demon generals with an unknown long-range weapon. She couldn't believe what she was seeing and couldn't help but question her own worthiness of standing beside the President.
In the momentary eerie silence, Xylma, who possessed powerful secrets of her own, devoted herself entirely to someone's path. She couldn't help but feel ashamed of herself and knew she needed to train and master the art of sorcery and magecraft even more.

The wicked woman in the castle, Demon Lord Enkanta, was shocked when she saw the girl she had played with earlier in the dungeon killed her most valuable assets. Though everyone would think she would shout and rage, it actually amused her a lot.
"You bring yourself to death," said Luna, brimming with confidence and supporting her mesmerizing figure as she stared at the demon's two shiny horns and flirtatious eyes.
"Hahahahahaha! Hahahahahahahaha! What bold words!" Enkanta laughed heartily, her hands cupping her chest in a maniacal manner.
"I concur with your short statement about the powerless as well, Empress. However, do you think you're strong enough to threaten me just because you've managed to kill all of my subordinates? You're really strong, there's no doubt about it, and also bear a grudge of carnage within you. Although I don't know why you want to help this poor country out, did you intentionally kill my three generals, in front of me to seek justice for whom? Iclylicians? The princess? Unfortunately, our demon empire doesn't have a strong concept of relatives like you humans, so you've simply failed to land a blow on me and have only made me wrathful, very wrathful! You shall face the wrath of a demon countess!"
Enkanta revealed that she was not a queen or king, suggesting that there may be a caste system or strength level in the demon empire similar to a monarchy on Earth. This information troubles Luna, as it indicates that there are more powerful and vicious demons than Enkanta.
Enkanta then pointed at Luna and said, "However, you still don't know how fearsome I am, Empress. Although it's an easy feat for me to kill you, it's my first time seeing such a pretty, powerful, and ferocious woman like you. How about you become my pet in my place and I'm willing to spare your life as long as you allow me to break your limbs and chain you eternally to give birth to my sons' progenies with that excellent bloodline of yours, how about it? This is the last chance you are going to get..."
But the cold president, without retaliation or a hint of emotion, responded to Enkanta with a shot from her particle accelerator gun, a weapon comparable to the Large Hadron Collider's latest version, sending a radiation wave beam surrounding the particle as a bullet silently in its path towards her enemy.
Due to its dangerous usage, a much wider halo of radioactive subatomic particles, mostly electrons, and muons, accompanying the "extremely" intense proton beam is much preferable. A person's body would be irradiated and the user dies pretty quickly if by chance got exposed, so the line radius is preferably shortened, thus increasing the pressure of radiation beam and safety.
Mimicking a gamma ray burst, but only a single alpha particle! Of course, anyone putting themselves near the line it passes through will also get pretty bad conditions.
Enkanta intended to block the bullet as she knew conventional long-range weapons in someplace, but she sensed danger instinctively even though there was nothing kind of shell and rolled aside to dodge its line trajectory, but a deep burning small pierced hole was still left behind on her arm revealing a purplish skin pigment.
"How dare you do something to destroy my covering, you insignificant human woman?! How dare a lowborn creature like you make a noble member of the Demon Empire attacked with an ominous firearm?!"
The Demon Lord got furious and her flame-like straight hair floated up as she grabbed her weapon from nowhere, the massive jagged-edged eerie scythe, and brandished it, causing gusts of air to rise.
Luna is surprised where did she get that weapon?! Her husband had long hidden behind the walls shrieking as Enkanta's exaggerated scythe movements grabbed Luna's attention. She extended her arms and pincered the president's head with its sharp every side.
Luna didn't even give her a look as she knew everything about her enemy's attack trajectory inside her range. She kneeled on one knee, turning on her favorite weapon from her briefcase, and raised White Vader's Lightsaber to block Enkanta's demonic metal claws with a powerful collision!
The clash between White Vader's Lightsaber and the demonic metal claws gave rise to electric current sparks and a hellish burning atmosphere! The strength produced by the thunder power unleashed by Luna shocked even the Demon Lord greatly. The blade clashed against the unknown metal claws that Enkanta was pushing down with force from the front to the back. Half-crouched Luna borrowed the downward momentum to spin around axially and delivered a heavy strike back to the claws.
Enkanta's claws were cracked open, and the president's charged-photon beam sliced her chest open in half, spewing gruesome demon blood and flesh. Unlike other demon corpses, hers somewhat didn't evaporate. However, the Demon Lord possessed a very strong vitality and raised her scythe claws once again to strike down at the president's back even though she was feeding buckets from her chest.
Luna, however, seized this chance to roll between the massive Enkanta's legs and executed a thunder backslash via Lightsaber to cut her tendons to maximum output, causing Enkanta to fall to her knees. Once she had finished turning around, she raised her brimming in light favorite weapon and stabbed into her enemy's head, it's heavily pressurized tip stabbing straightly into her core.
"Bam!" Enkanta's core quivered violently, and a huge amount of demon power diffused from her inferno ocean, her vitality also dropping subsequently. There was no guarantee that a demon noble powerhouse would die as soon as their core got shattered. The body still possesses its functions even after the core gets shattered, so Enkanta's heart was still beating because of her tenacious vitality.
Thus, eight several-meter-long bladed spider legs shot out from her back suddenly the moment she fell to the floor and stabbed towards the president.
However, with no core, the demon lord could only rely on her monstrous body's strength, which was at the demon's general level at best, so Luna just sliced through with a horizontal charged beam. Enkanta's face hit the floor powerlessly as the final bit of strength left her body, and she queried with amounts of purplish blood flowing out of her.
"Why is a woman like you able to react so calmly to spontaneous developments under the influence of wrath and carnage..."
Luna was taken aback by the question a bit, but she still responded, "How would I know? It's always been like this since I was born."
"You're... not human... I... see..." Enkanta's eyes gradually lost light and it was a wonder whether her last look was filled with remorse or hopelessness...
Luna stepped forward and stabbed her heart. All demons in the castle were dead now.
And so it seems...
"!!!" A terrifying change in temperature, making the whole place like that inside a crater of a volcano! A rumbling uproar suppressing reality came from behind Luna...
A frightening gigantic ten-meter tall muscular three-horned magma demon arises from the bottom pits of hell! Just his ginormous presence and hotness of lava... Even the president herself shook in distress!
Struggling in the intense heat as she rebooted her body over and over again from tremendous tension!
"...Is this for real? Are you that man?"
"I slept inside that human who died in nervousness, to heal myself after battling with your heroes. You killed my priceless mate and I'll have to deal with you! I was planning to mate with her once I fully healed, but it seems like you're much smarter than that Enkanta. Though your small body isn't enough to satisfy me."
Thankfully, Luna finally regulated her homeostasis to adjust to the hot surrounding area and thought, "Rest in peace, Law of Conservation of Mass."
"You're mistaken, mister. I'm not smarter than your wife. It's just that I never believed that monstrosities like you have concepts of reputation and righteousness."
"You bastard! It's an insult to call you human when you're so strong and bold! I believe it's proper to call you a bastard! Call me Barbados! A demonnaire captain!"
"Mister Barbados, do you think all humans are as naïve and weak as you believe them to be? You'll get immolated by the flames of fury that you've set aflame by trampling down on the kind in the end. However, you won't get it even if I explain it to someone like you who has lived the life of livestock until now, would you? Saying that you've lived the life of livestock is an insult to livestock now, isn't it?"
She grinned while barely crouching on the ground as it was much hotter and humid above.
"Bastard! No one has insulted me like this ever since I was born!!! Die!"
The visible demonic essence power shrouding the giant black-magma demon in ash color increased sharply, bulging reddish nerves and the ruddy fuming horns of his head, which is in the shape of a hell's sovereignty, began shining and caused the whole place to billow.
"ASKARO MOARATAKOA!"
Demonic Integral Might! Legends say this unimaginable demon evolution could harness demonic power from the depths of hell enough to kill an average hero with ease. The overwhelming might of the explosiveness like a volcano eruption packed within a demonic essence of power was enough to shake the whole mountain!
"Whoosh!" Demonnaire Captain Barbados's speed shot up so high that he almost warped in front of Luna instantaneously. Breaking the sound barrier like those in fighter jets visible. However, because of such strength and air turbulence, Luna made herself like a feather. Barbados's speed might've exceeded all humans if he raised it to the maximum, but Luna's movements were too unpredictable.
It was as if she was accustomed to demons' playstyle or her weightlessness, which made gigantic Barbados feel as if she was far away at the horizon even though she was right in front of him, preventing him from landing even a single blow all because of her lightness. Barbados brandished his wife's (mate?) multi-claw-scythe madly while Luna responded with elusive movements along with air turbulence, leaving behind fierce and vicious bright beams of thunder in mid-air along with some afterimages following behind the electric currents extrapolating both the ceiling and the floor.
Seems like the president is in power mode, or should we say, thunder mode, bathing herself inside and out in a gigawatt electric current just like earlier in the dungeon. If asked where she got that, no one knows. On the other hand, Barbados's strikes just left behind a series of rippling distortions.
"Don't run, b̲astard! Stop evading if you have any guts!" The flames and heat had intensified a lot by now, and the whole time had begun collapsing with some pillars, beams, and tiles falling one after the other and catching fire, but they did not affect President Luna and Demonnaire Captain Barbados.
A living calamity! One should cease to exist no matter what! Luna naturally pushed the debris falling towards her away with her brute force while Barbados was a victim of the stone debris' strikes, but he just didn't care about it since he was unharmed.
Luna and Barbados stood opposite each other inside the roofless castle within the pseudo-hell area. It was a fight between an erupting volcano and thunder! Technology versus fantasy creating a mark in history!"
