2nd POV

Your life had changed drastically after you joined the First Order. Your life had purpose again, and you were serving something you truly believed in. Being a Stormtrooper was a long-time dream of yours, but was crushed when the Death Star had been destroyed by the one and only Luke Skywalker. You were only a small child then, but you knew the significance. You'd never fight in a war. That all changed with the rise of Kylo Ren. You'd only heard stories of his greatness, but you knew he avenged the death of Darth Vader. Now, you had purpose,
"Line up, troops!" your voice echoed through the training room; immediately getting ahold of your 8 troops. They were rather new, and of course, you got stuck with training the new guys until you were needed in battle. You know the First Order treats this job very well because there's always gonna be new people who need trained, but you hated it, "We're gonna go over basics now!"
You saw in the back, two of the tallest Stormtroopers were whispering to each other. You felt anger coursing through your veins, "Since you maggots in the back can't even pretend to care about what I'm saying, everyone can start out by running 10 laps around the room."
No one said anything. The 6 other troopers in the group immediately glanced back at the two troublemakers, and although their helmets were on, they were frowning angrily. You could feel it. You didn't know how, but you've always been able to sense what your new recruits have been feeling, but none thus far have been as impolite as those stupid troops in the back.
The group immediately snapped into action and began running. You watched carefully at their form. All of them were pretty impressive, but those stupid troopers were still talking.
You tapped your foot on the ground angrily as they looped, then looped again, then looped once more. Those stupid Stormtroopers haven't stopped talking a single time, and you've decided you'd had enough,
"Alright, that's enough running," you began, keeping your eyes on 'moron' and 'stupid,' which are the names you've started calling the two troops in your head, "For everyone besides you assholes."
The group stopped, and the 6 other Stormtroopers immediately stood to the side and you approached 'moron' and 'stupid.'
"What makes you two think you can talk during training?" you began, circling them like a hungry Nexu, "You're in this training so I can be the one to save your useless lives when you come in contact with rebels. Are your lives not important enough to focus in? Every time one of you troops fall during battle, the others slowly begin to fall too. By you both being absolute morons, you're putting the whole group at risk."
The didn't immediately respond. You could sense the other 6 troopers found this whole ordeal hilarious, but yet again, you don't care. If humiliation is the way to train these Stormtroopers, then so be it,
"Now, I want you to-"
You were cut off by the larger of the two Stormtroopers clearing his throat, "Honestly, Sergeant," he began, your fists starting to clench up from annoyance, "I don't think there's anything you can teach us that we don't already know."
"Excuse me?" you countered, locking eyes with him, "Is that a challenge?"
The smaller of the pair backed off immediately the second you suggested a challenge, but the taller stood as strong as a cement wall. His silence was all you needed to confirm your suspicion that this rookie was challenging your authority. Yeah right.
You pulled your helmet off; your (H/C) hair falling to the side, "To duel, we don't use helmets."
The man nodded, taking his off as well. He had a rather chiseled face with platinum blond hair and hazel eyes. His left eye was clouded over; obviously making him blind,
"I've been in more combat already in this life," he hissed, clenching his fists, "I don't need a whelp like you to train me in shit I already know how to do."
Kylo Ren's POV

The man felt something he hadn't felt since the fall of the second Jedi Order and the meetings with the traitor, Ray: he felt the force. His eyes snapped open from a meditative state, and he stood up; his lightsaber snapping itself into his gloved hand,
"Supreme Leader?" the voice of one of Kylo Ren's Stormtrooper guards chimed in; worry laced in his voice, "Are you alright?"
The Supreme Leader didn't respond. He just shoved past the man in white armour and stormed down the halls. Everyone knew better than to interfere with the Sith Lord when he was angry, and this was one of those moments. Kylo Ren believed a Jedi to be on board this ship, and he would gut them alive.
2nd POV

The fuel was going miraculously well for the opposition: Mr. Moron. He was fast, and his battle scars showed to be legit considering his abilities. You were still quite skilled despite your age, and you eventually tripped him up; his face skidding against the concrete floor before. Blood began gushing from his fat upper lip. The grey floor below began to change to a ruby red,
"You bitch!" he shouted, leaping up to his feet, and tackling you with the grace and strength of a football player.
Mr. Moron then began laying down the hardest punches I had ever experienced in the entirety of my life. It felt like my brain was vibrating in my skull, and the dulled, numb pain began rocking through my bones,
"Stop it!" the voice of Mr. Stupid rose into the air, "You're gonna kill her!"
"She shouldn't have questioned my authority here!" he bellowed to his friend, laying a punch into the side of your face once more, "You'd think this bitch was chosen by Kylo Ren himself!"
'I was,' you spoke to yourself in your head. You rolled over and slowly pulled yourself to your feet. Moron looked over at your, the smile returning to his face, "You ready for round two?" you questioned painfully while spitting some bloody saliva onto the floor, and pulling your hands back up, "I'll let you get the head start, grandpa."
"C'mon, Serg," a voice from one of the Stormtroopers began, "Kick his ass!"
You looked over to the group and nodded, but something caught your eye. Kylo Ren was there, and he was staring right at you. His lightsaber plastered in his hand. This fight just got that more important. You'd have to win if grandpa here was to still be your underling.
The brute of a man swung immediately, but your arm picked up to swiftly block. Thanks to your armour, the man's fist erupted into a loud 'crunch,' his smirk contorting into a pained grimace. The weight of Kylo being here made both you and grampy begin to panic. His attacks became more sporadic,
"You gotta do more than play defensive, Serg," the man commented condescendingly, throwing another punch.
Finally, after about another three minutes of combat, the man landed another sharp punch to your nose, sending you sprawling to the floor. His lip was still bleeding and both of his eyes showed bruising, but you were far worse;
Your nose was definitely shattered, and you were choking on the blood which was draining down your throat. Your eyes were as bloodshot as a frat boy with a free weekend ahead of him. You also definitely had a concussion considering how you were seeing stars. You began going on and out as Moron rose his hands in the air, earning zero praise from the rest of his group, but it didn't seem to bother him.
Then, you felt it... the reason the Supreme Leader had his eyes on you.
It felt like the world around you was tugging at your arms, trying to hoist you back into the fight. The fight you were guaranteed to lose.
You tried fighting it, but it was no use. It was like you were in autopilot. Moron seemed legitimately surprised to you get back onto your feet this time,
"FN-1134," the voice of Kylo Ren emitted, gaining your attention, "Stand down. That is an order."
You wanted to listen to your Supreme Leader, you really did. You just couldn't stop yourself. You extended your gloved hands towards Grampy, and as if a gust of hurricane-weather winds was on your side, the Stormtrooper went flying into the wall behind him.
You screamed; your eyes tearing blood. The blood streaked down your cheeks rapidly; turning your vision red and blurry.
Mr. Moron remained upright on the wall: seemingly floating. His windpipe instantaneously cut off, which resulted in him clawing at his throat like a cage animal. His eyes began to turn purple from blood loss.
CRACK—
The dead body of the overconfident Stormtrooper flopped to the ground; his face returning to the concrete where this fight first began.
As you began to slowly regain control, you noticed every single Stormtrooper in the room had their blaster trained on you; their expressions full of fear and confusion.
You coughed; blood coating your lips while raising your hands up in surrender,
"Guns down," Kylo gravelled, unsheathing his terrifying, red lightsaber. He approached you; his expression unreadable under that helmet of his. The Stormtroopers obeyed without a commented. You could sense the sorrow many of your troops felt considering you'd likely die by the Supreme Leader's hand. You flinched, but the blow never came.
Opening your eyes, you saw Kylo Ren staring right into your very soul. You slowly got down on your knees and bowed to your Supreme Leader,
"I didn't mean to kill him," you whispered, staring at his shiny, black boots, "I don't even know what happened. I deserve to die."
Kylo still didn't say a word. The anticipation was killing you. You'd rather be just struck you down now instead of dragging the whole process out in front of your whole group. Finally, the man spoke,
"I relieve you of your duties as Sergeant," he began, sheathing back his lightsaber. Your heart dropped— your entire life was ruined because of that old fart you just murdered, "Follow me."
You bowed lower, then pulled yourself up obediently. You tried to look strong, but your fear mixed with the immensely painful beating you just endured didn't help. You looked as thin and shaken as a newborn kitten.
The man's breathing was so loud, which just added to your anxiety. He finally stopped after you'd been following him for a bit, then looked right at you. Every time the Supreme Leader looked at you, you always got insane goosebumps,
"You need to relax," he commented, "You're fine. I won't be killing you."
Despite Kylo saying he doesn't want to kill you, can help but be terrified of him. You'd never been in a room alone with the Sith Lord before, so you were insanely intimidated,
"What happened back there?" you finally choked out, "What the hell did I do to him?"
"You did what you had to," he responded; his voice raspy thanks to his helmet, "What you did was use the force. You are like me, FN-1134, and I would like to train you to be my Sith Apprentice. Your abilities would be wasted as a Sergeant, and I need an apprentice."
Woah.
That was the last thing you expected to come from Kylo's mouth. Sith Apprentice? You? Nah, there's no way,
"I don't... I don't even know how to comprehend this. You're saying, I used the force?"
The Sith nodded, "When you started to get aggravated with that waste-of-space Stormtrooper, I felt your anger through the force. I thought you were a Jedi who'd become bold, and tried to sneak on the ship. I was ready to kill you."
You immediately bowed, this time out of loyalty towards the Supreme Leader compared to earlier, when your bow was full of fear,
"Teach me your ways, my Master."
You could feel the smile on Kylo's face. You looked up, and noticed he'd taken off his helmet, "I want you to see the face of your Master, FN-1134. From this moment forward, your name shall be Commander (Y/N). If anyone refers to you as your Stormtrooper identification code, kill them on the spot. Now, tomorrow you will begin your training!"
"Yes, my Master."
