I awoke lying in my bed staring at the ceiling. I turned my head over to the other beds and no one was there. I removed the blanket and sat up onto my bed rubbing my eyes. I looked over to the clock beside the bed on the nightstand
11:30 am
Fuck. I have to stop sleeping in during the week.
I stood up onto my feet my back cracking causing me to put my hand to ease the pain. Suddenly the door opened and James came in almost falling.
" hm?" I asked
" guess what" he smiled
" what?" I rolled my eyes
He reached into his pocket and pulled something out.
" what the fuck is th-" I realized what it was. I dropped the shirt I was holding and my eyes widened
" is that- is that Gaunts ring?" I asked going over to him.
He nodded " it was just sitting there on the table in the common room. There was a note." He said letting me take it out of his hands.
" what's it say?"
" I think you should read" you could tell his expression changed and he handed the folded paper.
" Hayden, this is something I heard you needed destroyed. I hope it brings you whatever it needs to.

" who wrote this?" I asked looking at the back of the paper for a name
" we don't know. Someone that obviously cares about you enough to destroy it and drop it off?" He replied
I sat down on my bed and he followed sitting beside me.
" the boys. Do they know?"
" and by boys you mean Remus?" He asked smirking
" no James. I mean all of them do they know?" I rolled my eyes
" yes they do they were with me when I found it" he informed me.
I nodded and I sat it down on my nightstand. "You're not giving it to Dumbledore?" He asked and I shook my head.
" no. I am not giving it to him"

Friday. We won the quidditch game which means ANOTHER party.
" so, we got everything?" Sirius asked
" mmhmm. Everything" James said laying down on the couch
At about 11:30 people started rolling in.
A few people were already drunk. A few already started making out. All that.
I got a cup out and poured some firewhiskey in.
Do they not have any other alcohol except for firewhiskey damn. I wonder what James had to go to get THIRTEEN FUCKING BOTTLE OF IT
" getting black out drunk again?" Mary asked coming over to me
" it's a Friday leave me alone." I said chugging the cup down. She laughed and took the bottle and poured her some.
" do you just want to drink the bottle? I mean there's plenty more." She asked. I shrugged and I took the bottle from her hands
" okay then" she laughed as I drank from it.
" make sure you wipe it off. So, wanna go sit down?" She nodded and we went to that couch sadly beside two people from different houses making out
Remus always said that any house could come to our parties. I think mostly because not all people from different houses are bad but then again he probably doesn't want to discriminate.
I mean I'm fine with it I've met a lot of cool hufflepuffs and ravenclaws and definitely alot of nice slytherin. Slytherin's are stereotyped to much.
I got snapped out of my thoughts by Mary's hand coming into view handing me the bottle
I took the bottle and took a big sip.
" have you and Remus ever you know?" She asked
" wow that was um unexpected but no."
" why? If you don't mind me asking?" She asked while I handed her the bottle
I wiped the alcohol off of my lips " I guess we just haven't found the time? Maybe it's to early I don't know"
" are you sure? You guys have been dating for months almost a year."
That definitely made me think.
" I- um"
" Hayden. You aren't ready are you?" She asked whispering handing me the bottle that's been in my hands before
I sighed " no. No I'm not" I finally said after 3 minutes of silence.
She nodded as we passed the bottle back and forth
The alcohol suddenly hit me like a fucking truck.
" oh shit" I laughed. You could hear Mary laugh " yeah I was wondering when it would hit you" she laughed again And passed me the bottle again.
I looked around for Remus but I couldn't find him. I saw James
" James." I called his name. He didn't turn around

" JAMES POTTER" he turned around
" yes?"
" do you know where Remus is?"
" I'm right here?" I felt the couch dip down
" OH hiii" I turned to him
" hi. You doing alright?" He asked me with a smile
" yes! I am doing just fine now" I kissed his cheek.
Mary handed me the bottle and got up. " where are you going?" I frowned
" I'm going to go find lily" she said then walked off. James took her seat because well, it's James
" you did good tonight hayden" he ruffled my hair and I took a drink
" ooo can we listen to music?" I asked him excited
He didn't say anything else he got up and left " okay?". He came back with his record player I got him for Christmas last year.
He put a record in and the song immediately started playing
" oh my god. I love this song" I smiled
" CAN ANYBODY FIND MEEE SOMEBODY TOOOO LOVEEEE"

James ended up stopping the song halfway through because he saw lily:(
" uh- you fucking suck" I frowned
Remus laughed " its okay love, you'll live".
" not if I murder my- I'm sorry. I'm-"
" what we're you going to say?" He raised his eyebrows
" don't worry about it" I laughed which was a time I probably shouldn't
" you know I love you right?" I told him.
" I sure hope you do" he looked at me but looked away
" I do" he looked back down at me and I kissed him only twice though he's not that big on pda

Peter, James , Sirius, Remus , lily, Mary, and I were all sitting in a circle high, well some of us were crossfaded
"Snivillus came up to me the other day and said I should stay away from Lily or I'm going to get hurt" he was laughing, laughing so hard you couldn't even hear the and his face was red
" who would say that" Sirius asked laughing wheezing at the end of his sentence
" a straight white man" I said and we all started laughing harder
" I hate straight white men"
" you and me both sister"
" you know who acts like a straight white man?"
" who? The blondie who is besties with snape"
" no- Sirius "
